Thank You for making this Brad - nicely done - very clear. After the first 50 hours, I came to near the same conclusion of 1300 rpm's and 65 over the fence, solo w camping gear depending on conditions and weight.

Thanks for the comment! It's nice to hear that someone else came to the same numbers as I did. I've come to think 65 is a good safe speed, but when pretty light and short field, I've began to push it to 60. But that's only for solo flight. I've had my wife with me at 65 and it felt good and stopped decently short.

Great video! Thanks! I've got 6063M with an o-470. +Droop wing tips, 31" bush wheels, VG's. 1600# dry weight. I think I'm getting roughly your same numbers. You've inspired me to get mine dialed in and written down!

Thanks! I’m glad you liked it. I’m learning more about my plane (and me) every time I fly it. I have a ways to go but I have a goal of learning how to safely fly it to its potential. I intend to make more videos as I progress.

Could you put the full "Phil Marcotte" video back up. I like your shortened version but would also like the full version.

I do, but I have to get some work done on the engine. Hopefully soon.
