- Conflict of Nations is very much a strategy game but there are times when you need to go ahead and plug in the launch codes and do some dirty work. This video will show you all deployment methods, days they become available, the research trees and the difference in the types of missiles you can launch. It will show you how frequently you can launch a missile and how many missiles each delivery method carries.

my biggest pet peeve is when people join your coalition and don't even do anything and are inactive...then get mad when we invade them.. Or they just take out AI countries then dont do anything...Like why should me and the other teammates have to have you in when we could have someone else more active and fun.

Pakistan+ India+ Myanmar is one of the strongest team-ups in WW3. Beat me. Tbh China could really disappoint you cuz of his land mass and logistics problem.
It's exactly how I feel about China. Pak-Indi-Myan is a strong trio. I like playing the African countries too, South Africa, Congo and Ethiopia make a great team to start.
@@TheB2 And this trio have a thing in common: their administrative units are 'states', actually really big provinces.
I recently eliminated a pakistan/india/Myanmar combo as japan, by controlling the seas and the air to prevent them from advancing, while slowly capping cities with a single troop. It's not a bad combo, but every combo can be beat..

The best thing about the sub missile platform is they can be used as navy, and my favorite part is sneaking up medium distance from the country you want to attack, and sit them in deep water in the middle of a line between 2 points as far from a nearby line so harder to detect, set them to return fire only mode, fire your missiles and run back to sea. When reload is done you come in from another area and fire and run again, and just repeat. They will be nearly impossible to find, and if by chance they do they’ve got a very strong stack to take on with a high missile capability. 3-4 attack subs with 1-2 ballistic subs.

can you do a video on how and why to pick countries based on play style and their advantages? I have a few go-tos I pick often, because I know the strategies that work for them.. but ive fallen into a rut lol I almost always pick one of 5 countries. Some tips on why you might pick other countries and the strats that will be successful with them would be very helpful.
I have been toying with an Idea of the top 3 countries by Doctrine and why. A separate video for each doctrine for explanations.
Just so people know. One cruise missile is technically 4 missiles. Cause with the jets I can shoot 4 at a time. Than it takes the 12 hours to reload. For example when you mobilize them you'll see 4 up on the top where you have the cruise missiles.

A couple of points, you build 4 Conventional warheads, 3 Chemical warheads and 2 Nuclear warheads per build order. Expensive early game but when you have the delivery systems late game it's kind of cheap.

I have no idea about late game strategies. What kind of things should I have by day 20/30 and onward? What tactics are effective? I am able to hold out at the start, but I don't know how to set myself up for a strong economy, army and position later on.
Great Questions....every game is different but the phases are similar. You need to have a high amount of sustain by about day 25, which means resources you are deficient in you must have planned for. If you have ground units you will need a large amount of supplies, if you use ships/choppers you will need components. If you started in a smaller country, you will have needed to annex a few vital cities for resources. If you are a larger country you will have needed to produce a large amount of troops to hold off multiple threats. The smartest players in the game will have figured out a good mix of offense/defense.
new to this game and looking for info on annexing cities. does anyone know if this is worth it? at first glance this looks like it has a huge cost for not a lot of benefit, but what confuses me is that the cities start at a huge resource producer for the origin country and i'm wondering if the resource production goes back up that high if you annex the city.
Great question and there are multiple answers. Overall it's a good thing to annex a couple of cities to boost your production in resources you are weak in and boost your ability to produce military power. You have to outpace your rivals and so 10-11 cities is a good number. Some countries start with a larger amount of cities like India, China, Russia etc and if you get unlucky and join late and get Angola, you get 5. You will probably have enough fuel with 1 city but depending on what you are looking to specialize in, you will want to boost those resources. If your military used a ton of electronics, you will want at least 2 cities max producing electronics.
@@TheB2exactly. Pick and choose what you need the most, and annex those city types. Trying to annex early if you have very few cities is smart, but not always possible. As America, brazil, china, India, or Russia, it's very easy to annex cities early because of your resources, but not as necessary. You won't be able to produce 12 troops at a time early, even with the resource boost.

So I fired 3 lvl 1 CM’s out of my ASF while patrolling over a stack of 3 STATIONARY lvl 1 Destroyers. All three didn’t work and the notification was that it escaped the range. What am I missing?
Interesting, haven't had that notification before. I normally get a destroyed message. Could have been fired at a moving target and the missile went to where it was before it lost sight of the target? I'm not sure.
i have a question how to re serch a chemical balistic missiles? do i have to go thru the conventional? or is this a way
Just a quick point. I'm not sure if they updated the game or not since this video and thats why it's different but when you build 1 warhead you usually get 4. Like I said not sure if they updated it since this video or not as I haven't been playing all that long but thought I'd point that out

Subs, yes certain subs, read the tool tips it will tell you if they can fire missiles

Do you guys in the comments even use Nuclear ICBMs? I see a lot of talk about ballistic but nothing about Inter-continentals. I personally love them, are they really that rare to use?
Most don't, they are patient enough to use them at the right times or even research them all the way

wow, you can launch a cruise Missile from an MLRS? Is that available in RL? I know this is not a simulator I'm just curious?!
I've never tried, you shoudl be able to see this in the tool tips for that unit.

What about those Missile Launchers in the Mobilize Unit --> Warheads tab. The Thor Launcher etc, units which look like Trucks
Those are options too, but lesser used options.
I put my theatre defence system in my city's for the defence stat to hit, it guarantees a hit even if the missile came before the next fireing.
If a stack does 6 damag eagaisnt missiles in defence... an di shoot 3 missiles with 3 HP... what happens? HELP PLEASE
Basically when you use missles on Any anti air, you want your missle to hit when the AAs are reloading.

B2 in one game I used 16 Nuclear 8 conventional and 6 Chemical ballisitic and cruise missiles
I've not used missile is a while....my ground attack is usually enough but this round as India you may see some in a week or so hint hint
in my recent japan win, I used a total of about 100 nukes and probably 5 times that many normal cruise missiles. I went with a naval/strike fighter approach, and once I was maxed or close in both those techs I went all in on missile tech, because the rival coalition had HEAVY main battle tank stacks but were lacking in AA. I nuked probably 40 cities and killed a few hundred tanks and infantry with them. However, it put my morale in the shitter and my resource production went to crap.. gotta be careful. We won still, but my ability to impact the game was severely reduced.

Hello, please make a video how to count AA units air envelopment reload, how to take them out with missiles when AA units are on reload and only has point defence counted in
Missile defense only really comes into play when you have a golder on the board or it's taken forever to finish the game over 80 days. The best way is to always separate your AA/sams/thaads so they don't all fire at once but cover more area.
@@TheB2 Its day 52 and enemy in stacked land armies using 2 SAM units. So cruise missile has 15 HP, however if that missile is engaged with point defence and air envelopment it will get shot down. But whanever i AA unit is on reload missile wont get shot down and will hit target thus i can use CM. But i dont get it when AA units starts to reload

When you research the missile, the launcher is researched with it. You need lv3 to 5 secret lab to built.

best way is ballistic subs it can damaged building and unit (from my experience)

You can generally get away with it....if you build bunkers it helps sustain morale.

Aymen Turkmen I’m sure you figured it out by now but you need an icbm launcher to launch icbms. In apoc you start with nuke warheads but you still need to research missiles in order to use them

I dont understand how you are supposed to get this far. In the games, I play people are attacking each other from around day 4, sometimes earlier. The only way I can imagine trying to research this stuff is spending loads of gold when you don't even have to :) GL all HF
Missiles really have become prevalent a amongst golders, so many people rush now making it tough to build this far.
It really just depends on how good your team is. For example I just came in second place with Chad. I used nothing but Max Infantry & level 4 combat recon division. Some ASF & Helicopter Gunship. Than at the very end when almost no one was left finally got to use some cruise missiles.

There are multiple ways, from a boat or a plane, you can even launch from your MRLS

You made a mistake. When you build 1 convention warhead it makes 4. When you build 1 nuclear warhead it makes 2.

I'm playing as Thailand fighting with alongside of my coalition members Austalia and Japan we invaded every single country known to man without suffering over 10000 casualties at all I was missle mand strike with missle submarines Australia and japan move onto target that was my best team I ever played with in my lifetime

Finland is a tough country to play. It's on the edge or heavily contested euro countries and a giant Russia land mass. I played it once and someone pulled down my shorts and spanked me. It may be worth another try.
