My old boss told me once " machines break " lol yes yes they do ... Love what you doing stay on that grind as an ex felon of the California department of corrections ,starting over isn't fun or easy but it's possible !!
Typical Dynamic issues, I’ve repaired & welded up 2 dynamic units at the lower pivot just like yours broke. Get it fixed up & put extra bracing on the extension stops & plate & weld over the front lower section down over the pivot pin sleeve bending the plate around the pin sleeve while welding so it has more surface contact. I would fix that in a heartbeat. Watch weight ratings! These are light duty compared to MPL or similar that don’t slide over tube to lower like cheaper dynamic design.
Lol that's a good friend letting you borrow his truck that rig's probably $80,000 or more and that's awesome you're going to help him get on RUclips can't wait to see some of his content too
Truck looks dope AF!!!! Saw the kid at the end of the vid..that’s why we work had and make the sacrifices we do to support our family, it’s a good feeling
Man I really appreciated watching this video… I’m experiencing the same problem as the moment and this was my piece of motivation to get to the Grind n not cry about it…. 💯 fa the Video ✌🏽
i noticed the last weld looked like a mud dobber had welded it before, maybe it is just me but it lookedlike it had been welded before by a high school student lmao ?
My 550 did that, we bought a boom off a wrecked truck, 1500, tore it down and welded gusset plates everywhere that we could. It would lift the bosses 450 wrecker like butter. L arms hardly even flexed after adding all the braces. Ended up selling it to another repo company and they used it for their heavier repos for another 5 years. When it finally died the truck fell apart around the bed with almost 700k on it. Not bad for a 2000 ford
It's all good brother, the best lessons are the painful ones.....you bounce back from this and the next time some shit comes at you, your like 'pffft, this aint shit''.....the more of these kind of experiences you have, the thicker your skin gets......it's that whole ''what doesnt kill you'' thing.....i totally understand the temptation to get down about it and talk smack about giving up, but you KNOW that aint the way.....you'll be good......all good....
Same shit happened to a friend of mines truck about 2 years ago. He just got the truck from the shop where they welded it all back together, picked up a caddy cts, drove about 6 miles and the shit fell apart again. I just happened by and his truck was in the road, and he had got the car off to the side. I dont know how, but we picked that shit up and threw it on the back and chained it down. Came back with his other truck to get the car.
Glad you back brother! You have to send me an email and shoot me your number so I got you on lock bro ✊🏼 I can’t wait to see some more videos bro. You got this damn bro congrats. Let’s put on for Maryland 🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀
I think you should have put the rhino and painted it on your left I think it would last longer than spray paint you're constantly having to respray it with cans and it can rust
It was the original lift since that truck was first built. The owner before me never done any repairs or greased it, so therefore just a where in tear overtime did a number on it
@@JCKDTV ok I see that’s what came to mind when I first saw it . I also thought I could of been because the lift makes loud noises when lifting. I appreciate you sharing things like this helps everyone good and bad.
Hey, what’s up bro just recently ran across your channel. I’m up in Charlotte. I’m getting ready to do basically the same damn thing you did yours. I bought my bed used so I think I’m gonna go ahead and replace these parts before I have any problems like that. You are in NC right?
You know what they say, spend money to make money, that tow truck is your lively hood man, and your bread and butter, on your off days, perhaps do a check list for your tow truck, if you don't know how, find someone who can help. Not telling you how to do your job brother, just giving you a heads up.
U beta off getting a new truck brotha yeah u might have a payment for a bit but shit no worries with a warranty n stay away from them dam fords get a good dodge with a good Vulcan auto grip lift n a winch working off the pto. Itll make shit quicker to get done
You really don’t know how to run a business then. Listen brother in due time I will have everything I need trust me. When I’m making over six figures a year with one truck no truck payment and I’m able to stack why would I go buy a brand new one just yet. I know what I’m doing that’s why I’m doing it
Just subbed, been binge watching these vids brother.

Grind clean, fit up with jacks and wood, weld probably 3 passes maybe even 7 take you about 45 minutes tops
U know what they say u can't keep a good man down

I’ve been an O/O for30 years. I can spot lack of maintenance and abuse of equipment a mile away. How many times has it been overloaded?
Millions
You will be alright man it takes money to make money.
Damn been there a month ago eith my dynamic .
I just got my truck back 3 weeks ago…. Got a second truck also 3 weeks ago….. so I’m gonna be back putting MD on the map bro

You should go with a Vulcan or Millers back they last a life time
Maybe it would be best to invest into a other tow truck on standby just in case if it happens again you have a backup
It’s coming real soon 💪🏼

That's what happens when u have to much weight n too much pressure on it. But hey shit happens
Looks like you need to hire some help
