- Searching for Dry Juniper on the Bogs, Joined by my uncle Mel today (79 Years old), Beautiful scenery with Ice covered trees from a Flash freeze we had over the weekend and a wonderful boil up and Of Course Mika Joined in too.

Boil up something we don't do here. I am in South west Nova Scotia. But looks like good idea. Will try next winter. I have no ski doo or wheeler, but good hike and then boil will do
One thing about a boil up you can do it wherever..even in your backyard😊

Your video made me smile this morning here in Montana. I’m just curious, how old are you Ashley ? I think it’s just awesome a young lady as yourself lives totally off grid just as I have for the past 40 years. I have found living this way has been extremely rewarding for myself. A lot of people I have met in my journey didn’t count on hard work when starting out. It looks to me like you have figured out how to live without having the pitfalls of the negative naysayers ! I still love going into my woods & cutting my firewood for the the year. I only have ponderosa pines here but it heats just fine. I enjoyed your video with your 79yr old uncle Mel with you. I just loved seeing you & Mika on the snow machine.
