Hi I am watching your videos from very long and we successfully trained our golden retriever and now he is 6 months old and very happy that is to your tips and tricks
As an experienced pet parent aged 55 now( have kept 4 dogs in my lifetime), and now with a one year old Goldie, I always beleive that a healthy home food diet is better than readymade dog food. Breakfast should be Eggs (Scrambled, Boiled or Poached) Any fruit like a banana, apple, pear or papaya slices Frozen Carrots/Beetroot slices And a late lunch around 4-5 pm of 250 gms Minced chicken/beef/Lamb with one or more additions such as Leafy vegetables like Spinach or Cabbage, and/orCauliflower, Broccoli, Sweet potato, Pumpkin Boiled Rice works best. Avoid wheat/gluten and dairy products except plain curd/yoghurt Add Chicken/Beef/Lamb liver with soya chunks once or twice a week to avoid Taste fatigue. (I do this once a week)
i think the first one is wrong as my vet told me that home cooked meals are perfect for my dog and they are better than commercial foods/store brought foods. So we've kept him on a complete home-cooked diet.
Its not wrong like she said: it can be, its not the best optoin to give them home made food, the dog food and snacks are rly made for them. But evryone bas his own toughts
I’ve cooked homemade food for my golden for 6 years now. He’s a lot healthier with less allergies. You have to do your research and make sure they have enough vitamins. My golden is 11 years old and healthy. He gets omega3, flax seeds, vegetables, oatmeal, brown rice, turkey in his food. I give him glycogen, glucosamine and vitamins supplements as well. Table scraps is good if you know what you should and shouldn’t feed them.
We're really sorry for the ads but they are auto-generated and all we can do is provide our viewers the best possible Guide for Golden Retrievers😄 We hope we were of any help! Thanks for the Comment❤
Hiii, u shared nice info abt golden retrievers....adopted a 3.5 year old Golden retriever a month ago, he is been friendly with us...would u suggest me anything for my dog...
Can you please make a video about having a golden retriever in india it's prize and maintenance cost and weather conditions..... Golden retriever are the best dogs .❤️❤️ Love watching your video's they're soo amazing 😍
Price ranges from 25-50k bro...i got my 5 year old boy @25k with all certifications....now adays their cost has increased... You'll spend around 5-8k on food, preferably royal canine, eggs, chicken, some gravy, treats n bones. Medical expenses 500 per month or less depending on where you stay for once a month check up n anal gland n ears cleaning.... If you want to own a dog...dont think about financial expenses! Always first think if you can spend time with the dog! Quality time! Training, excercising, socialising! That's what matters more than money when raising a dog and trust me a golden retriever is the best dog to raise as family companion! But pls do acquire knowledge on how to raise it n follow through! If can't don't get a dog...simple as that
Hi my dog is almost 5 months and we feed him our normal human food rice or dhaal without any spices or salt or anything can you please suggest what dog food we can keep for our dog he is going to turn 5 months by tomorrow and we don't know what to feed him and please comment us which food if best and the cost and the brand 😀 😊 love your vids..🤗
@@charumurudkar6816oh if u can afford dog food its good but its expensive we dont feed dhal daily we also feed chicken, curd rice , aloo and many other foods , bro in past times was dog food there , no right . U can feed anything you want to ur dog but first search if that food causes any problem dont at all feed now my dog is 6 months very healthy puppy , 😉 😊...
It's a myth that giving home cooked food is bad for dogs, it's only bad if you don't know what nutrients they need. Of course you should get kibble, but an only kibble diet is as bad as only home cooked food. I used to give my dogs royal canin golden retriever (puppy) (it's a bit pricey but best in market nutrition that's catered towards this breed) mixed with rice and curd. Chicken can be given twice a week, again, boneless and cooked, mixed with rice or kibble. Don't overdo the rice, or if you're giving them rice for all their meals, make sure they get plenty exercise to burn off those carbs. Also, they love some sweet yellow pumpkin so you can peel a pumpkin off, cut it up, boil and mash it and give it maybe once a day or once every other day, just mix a tablespoon with their food. Dogs are just like humans and love variety in their food. It's upto us as responsible owners to give them that variety while making sure their nutrition needs are met.
always try to add in some organ meat, about the amout of one of their paws. Dogs have survived thousands of years b4 kibble companies were around and I have actually seen a decrease in life expectancy recently.
I have a 6 month old GR - We feed her Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice large puppy bread. But we have to add white cooked rice mixed in it or she starts having runny poo. This is what her breeder fed her so we haven't switched up her food brand as of yet.
Many foods that WE eat on a daily basis is also bad for us. We don’t even eat properly so how do we feed our dogs properly unless we give them a variety of raw food?
One top most thing to consider is the size....goldens are gentle dogs but they are very strong and need space...on the other side cockers are smaller and u can handle them easily.....if you have enough space and confidence to handle go for golden...or else consider smaller breed
Yes choosing between a Golden Retriever and a Spaniel could be tough! Keep your eyes on our Comparison Playlist - ruclips.net/p/PLRWWUoZv5HTSEDA6cnSQUwuONoTJ1-uYE , we might soon a upload video that might surprise you ;)
Cocker Spaniels are barky and can be aggressive, I'd go with a GR. I had a French Spaniel and he was purely a upland bird hunting dog. He wasn't calm and cuddly like my GR. English Springer Spaniel is different from a Cocker Spaniel - English is quite larger. French Spaniel are larger than Springers. FS are hard to find breeders in the US, I had to order ours from Canada. More common in the northern US states. I'm in Texas and I never saw another one except once and it was a person who transferred here from Europe.
We have a golden retriever, male puppy. It's quite good and very very attached to all of us. But only thing we face with our cutie is barking at other dogs continuously. That is the only problem with it. Can anyone suggest how to tackle this?

Buddy....as we educate our own children dogs also needs to be trained..not on army basis but atleast basics....and if you are considering taking your dog to Europe then plzzzzzzz train him/ her as there in Europe others dogs are extremely well behaved (telling from my own experience and not some one else's stories). Train your dog basics...you can do it at home...no expert needed for that....also consider a pet relocation services as Europe has very strict rules for that....
@@abhishekapte3970 bro thank you sooo much Out of many people advising my friend I'm the only one who has told her to train the doggo to atleast sit stay and crate training and anything lesser will not be tolerated in European countries But the thing is I'm also the only one without a dog and was insisting we train the dog and started thinking that I'm really being extra But i knew the dog will still always be a cuddly fluffy golden like always but just wanted to see if I'm not giving away wrong advice because i personally have yet to properly train a dog
@@crumbinatorskitchen3401 always willing to help all pet parents....tell your friend that training the dog deos not steal away it's innocence not even police trained dogs loose it....once the dog gets old enough without training it will be a big problem to handle...not just in Europe but anywhere in the world....so it's always advisable to train your dog....
You can let your friend know that golden retrievers as a breed are genetically bred to be 'working' dogs, meaning it is literally in their genes to 'work'. They actually really enjoy learning tricks and commands, it gives them confidence and a sense of purpose. The reward (treat or praise) at the end of each successful trick or command is something they also really enjoy and helps the dog bond very well with his owner. It is not 'extra' or bad to train a dog like a golden retriever because they are literally genetically predisposed to enjoy/want training. Many Golden retrievers who are not trained and don't get taught tricks or commands feel restless and bored, and end up using their energy elsewhere like misbehaving or destroying things around them. This is a sign of a bored or frustrated dog. If your friend was getting a toy dog type, maybe they might not enjoy training but I can promise you that golden retrievers actually enjoy the activities. It quite literally is good for their health!
