- I made this video for many of my subscribers and a sweet elder lady in my community. This crossbody phone wallet especially made for people with disabilities and arthritis that won’t be able to open the wallet like many of us. I made this with love and it’s so emotional while sewing it.. Many of us are lucky enough to use anything normal but some are not.. I hope we all open our hearts and look around to see if there’s anything we can do to help those people like this one lady I know ….

I make mistakes all the time. I make drawstring backpacks and I tend to forget to put the loops in for the strings.
Times have changed so much! My saddest regret is that my Grandchildren will never experience the simpler, kinder, way of life that we grew up in. I am the same as your Mother, I never step out of the house without my hair being fixed, and my Red Lipstick!

I love listening to you, especially when you tell real-life stories like you did today.about your childhood in Vietnam and your mom. Instead of background music, the stories are so much better. I understand what you’re saying about long flights because when I went from Philadelphia to Hawaii it was only 11 hours and I thought I was going to jump off the plane. That was only about half the time it took you to get to Viet Nam. However, please take your kids there so they can really appreciate where you grew up. I have been many places but never far East. I love traveling and just learning about other people which is why I travel. I have a very close friend from Taiwan and I hope to go there one day. I also think it funny because when you say people will die without the phone because a couple years ago I traveled to Alaska. We cruised from Alaska to Vancouver Canada. The next day we were to fly from Vancouver to Dallas Tx, them back to Philadelphia. There was some sort of labor dispute at the Vancouver airport so we missed our flight. We checked into a hotel overnight to fly out the next day. Well, the next day, I was in such a rush, I left my phone in the hotel room. I didn’t realize it until they were calling our flight. Someone told me, “Had you been a younger person you would have missed that phone before you got from the room to the lobby. I laughed because I knew it was true. I contacted the hotel, the found the phone and I received it in the mail about 3 weeks later. That’s when I realized how much we depend on phones. I did think I was going to die during those 3 weeks.😂😂
This is so practical! Love this idea and it would be great for all sorts of items like water bottle, small book, anything really! I do a lot of walking, this would be nice to keep everything I need! Thanks again for another great idea!

Hi lovely OOOOOHHHH a new project I’m have a bit of trouble keeping up with you. Why do you sometimes iron the interfacing on the main fabric and on the lining side other times?it is so hot in my little village in Wales GB were not used to it but as usual during the holidays it rains then when they go back to school it’s hot. Just finished lunch and going to make the other one and maybe this tomorrow. Loves and hugs xxx
Wendy, sometimes, if the lining fabric a bit thin and the main fabric is thick . I then iron the interfacing on the lining piece.. it doesn’t effect the finished product

I love the idea without the zipper(something I haven't mastered yet). Also dont have magnet snaps to close. Maybe would be helpful you can show a sew on button for closing..Bag is so beautiful. Thank you.

I like this! This would be a good size for me. Being in a wheelchair I try to keep the important things close to me such as my phone, inhaler, etc. I think I will put snaps on the outer pockets too as I’d end up dumping stuff out being clumsy. 🤪

I was thinking just a flap over the top would be better but your way gives you two extra pockets.
