Thank you for a great idea. I live in a senior coop apartment building and this is a really good idea. This wallet would be perfect for carrying a few things around the grounds. I can see using it to hold the apartment key, some tissues, a few dollars for the soda machine, and a small bag to pick up after the dog. We have a gift shop so I would like to make some for that. All proceeds go back into the coop.

She’s dcd and therefore she has very poor fine motor skills and struggles with buttons and zips and so much like that. Something like this would be perfect. That is true! A few years ago, she helped me figure out a surgical cap during the COVID pandemic, that later I also made for my sister, who was losing her hair to chemotherapy. Vivian is the kindest soul! I LOVE HER, TOO!

Hi lovely. I have started on this and I am now in love with the Oriental fabric. At the moment only 1 question I iron the interfacing as you say but when I sew it then the interfacing is comes off if I iron it again will there still be enough glue to reattach it please. I am using a dark blue with gold waves and white cranes. I can’t decided which I like best because they are all beautiful and the fabric sells the product. Thank you very much xxxx
Wendy, Yes the interfacing will be able to stick on the fabric again only if you can peel it off from the previous. As always, I really enjoy your videos. I tell everybody that wants to learn to sew to watch your videos, subscribe & like them. You explain everything, which makes sewing for beginners so much less frustrating. I love the Japanese fabric, but noticed on the link to Amazon that the fabric pieces sold are around 8"x10," which is too small to make wallets like this. I did, however, find it in single cuts of 59"x19" for $9.90 with the shipping included in that amount on Etsy. Just in case anyone else like me is looking for larger pieces.
I've watched other sewing channels and they go so fast and don't explain things, but since I've found Vivians channel, I purposely go on other sewing channels and read comments, and anyone who complains about going too fast or not good instructions, I tell them to go on Vivians channel, "Twins Day Sewing" and tell them she is excellent in showing step-by-step instructions! Helps Vivians channel to grow and also benefits people who want to learn to sew!!
