My father had several heart test , he was told " this man will never have heart trouble " a week later he had a heart attack..his veins collapsed..he had low cholesterol..they opened him up did a triple by pass plus he also had an aneurysm that needed to be cut out ...second opinion is worth the trouble. Long story short..he lived another 30 years .
Wow that’s a story. My dad had a full heart checkup too and died 3 days later. They say that happens a lot. I’m up to my 3rd opinion now. What I do know now is that my sister had a serious heart condition that was ignored. She didn’t even have a cardiologist.

Glad you are doing well. Isn’t aging wonderful? Dehydration seems to be such an issue as we age. I got “yelled” at for my hydration issues. I simply don’t get thirsty! Hopefully you figure yours out without further tests. Happy Mothers Day!

We are so glad you are doing better, do rest and drink plenty of fluids..dehydration sneaks up slowly on a body..Here in Phoenix, working outside when it's so bloody hot, we always have a bottle of electrolytes with us..We use "Liquid IV" they taste great and we are more hydrated than just a bottle of cold water..just a suggestion..do take care from Arizona 🌵
I too have fibromyalgia, and my heart rate would go into a very fast rhythm. After testing, Cards put me on a Beta Blocker to control rate and also works for my high blood pressure. Just a thought. You are in my prayers.
I too have high BP and it is mostly controlled with meds. Two years ago I had all the cardiac test including a cath. My diagnosis is Atrial fibrillation and I have to take blood thinner everyday. There’s a lot of things that aggravate this and meds that I can’t tolerate, so I kinda know how you feel. So sorry you are going through a spell with your health but I hope you start feeling better. I have congestive heart failure and I was having palpitations that woke me up. My reg doctor said to try taking some electrolytes daily even tho I drink more water than anyone else I know. She said sometimes our bodies cant get what we need from the water to keep us hydrated enough. Sure enough after two weeks of electrolytes daily the palps went away and stopped waking me up! You may want to try some just to get you back in a good spot and then continuing might just help with any other issues you have as well. Hope things get better for you!

I have a lot of the same issues. Had them most of my adult life. Also have fibromyalgia like you. The tachycardia episodes ( rapid heartbeat) are so frightening ! Mine go more than 120 though! I got some Redmans real salt and drink plenty of water with a pinch of it. It helps me with hydration and has like 90 minerals. Did they do a tilt test on you? Yep. I’ve been through it all too. Stress is a big factor for me. Makes everything so much worse. I lost my dad suddenly and the trauma from that has affected my whole life. So I understand.

I'm sorry about your sister. I honestly believe high BP is caused from the cell towers. Mine has been high all my adult life, regardless of weight fluctuations. My mother is anorexic with congestive heart failure and had dangerously low BP...and just like that, the 5g went in and now her blood pressure is high. It makes no sense at all.

That sounds awful for you Anne! And I know exactly what you went through with blood draw. I have terrible veins too and always need an ultrasound to stick that little needle in. Have you been to a Electrophysiologist? I had the same exact issues, I also have fibro and lupus. My heart did the same exact thing...I even had a heart cath and nothing showed until I went to the Electro. doctor. He found I had tachaycardia (not spelled right) and did ablation on my heart. I also have to take beta blockers but so far so good. If you have any questions or I can be of any help for info on abalation, just let me know. I'd be happy to share my knowledge of my experience. It took about a year to get actual help ...nothing ever showed on any of the test or ekg. I was so tired and frustrated . I hope you feel better soon. Happy Mother's Day
Thank you for that advice. I will keep it in mind. I have tachycardia and have a few friends that have had that. I’m sure if this problem continues at some point I’ll have to visit that option.
I am sorry for all of this and the loss of your sister!! So glad you didn't have a clot. I want to tell you from personal experience, that I have had the same issues each time I have a colonoscopy ( I have them every couple of years). Two major factors occur, disruption of intestinal flora, empty intestines can also cause me to feel not grounded or unstable and then my heart will race from major dehydration. Many trips to doctors made me do my own research. I have learned that a couple of days eating bananas, oatmeal, apples. a woman's vitamin and many tall glasses of water all day, brings me back quickly. Intestinal stability has a major effect on anxiety and sleeping as well. Water, water, water. I know this seems basic but they don't tell you how important this is after the procedure. It is pretty basic. I hope this can help you.
Thank you Kit. Yes! I agree. I knew it would throw me. I avoided it for 15 years which I know is not good from the “I could have had colon cancer that they could have detected early”. Fortunately I didn’t even have a polyp but my intestinal flora is very sensitive and all those hospital medical things throw it off. Funny, I eat a banana and a cup of oats a day and now I won’t let myself fall behind in the water… thanks for your advice.

Ann,I’m sorry you had to go through that .I was in the ER last Saturday with a fast heart rate as well,230 for 3 hours and was diagnosed with Supervantriculiar Tachycardia .I don’t know if it could be the same thing but remember I have a lot of the same diagnosis as your self .So yes with CFS/ME we don’t process sugar the right way and before I had my episode I had a pop which I never drink (a reward to my self for having a flair for days),Since I hadn’t done anything for days I wondered my self it could have been the sugar .I will be going through the same soon so I will stay tuned .I will pray for your recovery !

So very sorry you’re going through that. I just had a colonoscopy two weeks ago and they mess me up for a month. I’m 71, no family history of colon cancer, but I have IBS-d. It is so hard on your body, my doc is one that dies the one size fits all prep and it’s truly overkill for someone with IBS-d. I always get severely dehydrated, muscle cramps and is two days of Hell. I think my body is slightly allergic to that stuff and I stay inflamed for weeks. I’m pretty active but it really does ness you up.

Do you take anything for heart rate? I do the exact same things as you. I take propranolol 10 mcg 2 to 3 times a day .

I'm sorry about your sister. I honestly believe high BP is caused from the cell towers. Mine has been high all my adult life, regardless of weight fluctuations. My mother is anorexic with congestive heart failure and had dangerously low BP...and just like that, the 5g went in and now her blood pressure is high. It makes no sense at all.

One thing I have learned is you have to move your body for it to get better. I walk a mile a day and I have been so much better.

That sounds awful for you Anne! And I know exactly what you went through with blood draw. I have terrible veins too and always need an ultrasound to stick that little needle in. And when you’re dehydrated it’s even worse. I hope you recover quickly and warmer days are coming! Vitamin D ☀️ always makes me feel better. Hopefully it does for you too. Happy Mother’s Day! Have you been to a Electrophysiologist? I had the same exact issues, I also have fibro and lupus. My heart did the same exact thing...I even had a heart cath and nothing showed until I went to the Electro. doctor. He found I had tachaycardia (not spelled right) and did ablation on my heart. I also have to take beta blockers but so far so good.
If you have any questions or I can be of any help for info on abalation, just let me know. I'd be happy to share my knowledge of my experience.
It took about a year to get actual help ...nothing ever showed on any of the test or ekg. I was so tired and frustrated .

I am sorry for all of this and the loss of your sister!! So glad you didn't have a clot. I want to tell you from personal experience, that I have had the same issues each time I have a colonoscopy ( I have them every couple of years). Two major factors occur, disruption of intestinal flora, empty intestines can also cause me to feel not grounded or unstable and then my heart will race from major dehydration. Many trips to doctors made me do my own research. I have learned that a couple of days eating bananas, oatmeal, apples. a woman's vitamin and many tall glasses of water all day, brings me back quickly. Intestinal stability has a major effect on anxiety and sleeping as well. Water, water, water. I know this seems basic but they don't tell you how important this is after the procedure. It is pretty basic. I hope this can help you.
Thank you Kit. Yes! I agree. I knew it would throw me. I avoided it for 15 years which I know is not good from the “I could have had colon cancer that they could have detected early”. Fortunately I didn’t even have a polyp but my intestinal flora is very sensitive and all those hospital medical things throw it off. Funny, I eat a banana and a cup of oats a day and now I won’t let myself fall behind in the water… thanks for your advice.
And sorry that you have to have that test every few years.

Ann,I’m sorry you had to go through that .I was in the ER last Saturday with a fast heart rate as well,230 for 3 hours and was diagnosed with Supervantriculiar Tachycardia .I don’t know if it could be the same thing but remember I have a lot of the same diagnosis as your self .So yes with CFS/ME we don’t process sugar the right way and before I had my episode I had a pop which I never drink (a reward to my self for having a flair for days),Since I hadn’t done anything for days I wondered my self it could have been the sugar .I will be going through the same soon so I will stay tuned .I will pray for your recovery !

It’s horrible and honestly I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. 3 weeks it’s taken me to recover from the CFS. I’m Blessed that’s all it’s been! I hope you can rest and heal. So very sorry you’re going through that. I just had a colonoscopy two weeks ago and they mess me up for a month. I’m 71, no family history of colon cancer, but I have IBS-d. It is so hard on your body, my doc is one that dies the one size fits all prep and it’s truly overkill for someone with IBS-d. I always get severely dehydrated, muscle cramps and is two days of Hell. I think my body is slightly allergic to that stuff and I stay inflamed for weeks. I’m pretty active but it really does ness you up.
