Thank you so much for this! I just started with a lash studio as a new lash artist, and I feel so stressed. I have to lash within an hour and a half, full set, regardless of the type of set! I thought this was normal, but now I have confirmation that it’s not. I feel that the quality of my work is suffering! Thanks for helping me not feel crazy lol❤

That's the problem with working for someone is you have no control of your time. If they expect you to be done in an hour, then it has to be done. I completely understand why salons do that because more customers have more money. Less customers less money, so it's in their best interest to get the clients in and out. So do your best. Your quality will not be there, but as long as you do your best, that's all that matters. Sometimes we think that it's better to work for someone because they will provide me with clients and will pay me so that's load off your back but when you work for someone your sacrificing your peace of mind and your constantly being rushed. So you'll have to be ok with it until it's normal for you. But because you are sacrificing quality because of rushed work then you'll have to be ok that your work is not going to be good. If that's what they want from you then that's what has to be done. I don't agree with it at all but everyone runs their business differently and I have no say in it. So my best advice is even if you feel a lot of pressure just know it'll get easier and you'll be ok. Just do your best hun.

Hello ,as for consultation are we supposed to do it the day before or we can do it the same day we are supposed to work on a client?

it would make more sense to do it the same day. Kind of like any other service. Hair, nails, etc. You arent doing a medical service or survery etc where they need to be consulted and prepped for a certain amount of time before a service. As long as they know to come in clean and comfortable without any infections then consultation same day is standard.
