Thank you so much for making these videos! I just took a lash course last week but I feel like the girl went over everything super fast that I didn’t catch everything she said. I’m a beginner and I don’t have a salon yet ……I wanted to be a travel lash tech until I get my salon 🤦🏽♀️……because I can’t do them at home I live with my mom and my 2 siblings
It's definitely an option. I'm not saying not to. If this is the only option then do what you gotta do to get ahead. Only issue is that you will have no control of your room temperature or humidity and you will struggle a little bit with your glue not working properly. Or the other option is if you are licensed to go work for someone since they will provide the room and clients. Or do a booth rental. But if none of that is not an option then do what you gotta do. I'm only letting you know that it will be a bit of a struggle not having control of your environment.
I enjoyed this video so much! I just had it playing in the background while I was doing dishes. I had my lashes done by my friend’s friend & I loved them, but little did I know there was supposed to be aftercare?! I literally found out like a month ago that you’re supposed to wash your lashes! 🤦🏽♀️ & I had lash extensions YEARS AGO! I was so disappointed in the fact that they didn’t even last that long & I ripped my eyelashes out. The fake ones & my real ones. Lmao. Soooo stupid. 🤣
What about wearing gloves ? The course I’m taking says it’s a “MUST” to protect our hands, what are your thoughts ? I don’t see any lash techs doing if
If you fan in the strip then yes but if you pinch your fans it's hard to pinch with gloves on so as long as your hands are santized and clean you don't need gloves. It will be so hard to lash with gloves on trust me it's uncomfortable. But whatever works for you is fine.
Omg! You are so good! I love learning from you! Please keep doing more videos! I’m just starting this journey and I’m so nervous but you make it seem so fun!

My lash course had an infection control module which basically said lash strips shouldn’t be reused period. They want you to cut them into individual use strips and place them on a disinfected lash tile then discard the remaining lashes after each client because there is no way to sanitize them 🥴
I have thought about buying a mini skincare fridge to place my lash extension glue in there when summer comes around because it gets super hot in my apartment during the peak of summertime. And I’m worried my glue will get messed up. However I’ve read on Google to not do that because it could mess up the glue’s formula. But you said you do it for your glue so now I’m not sure what to do 😰
Hey hun. The glue I was using in thise video it was required to be stored in the fridge in an air tight container to stay fresh longer. And the glue I use now doesn't require that. It depends on the glue you are using and what the manufacturer requires. Every glue is different. So if it says to store in the fridge do that. If it doesn't require it then you won't need to buy a fridge. I know it's confusing but as long as you pay attention to your glue and it's needs you are good.
I officially did my second classic lash and it went a bit better than the first time. But I had a question, why did my lashes fall off after applying? Is it the glue ? I feel like when I applied 10, 5 of them fell 🥴
@@kemj6526 your glue may be drying too fast before you place the extension on the natural lash. You have to use the glue that’s best for your environment due to humidity levels and temperature. Hope that helped.
@@claudiapena4201 ok thank you. What happens if I double dip. Like dip the lash and the glue dries and dip it again to stick it on the lash. Can that be the issue too?
