Ah. I love satyrs. Never gotten to play one yet, but It sure is on my short list. The more Greek version if I can get with away with it, but I probably can't, so I'll be sharing this video with my DM for sure to get a little something extra from the 5e faun. XD
I made a satyr gal in 5e with fey wanderer ranger and a few levels in bard, shes very fun mechanically and i love the design i made for her but as a forever dm ill probably never use her lmao
I like all male satyr in 5e and all female dryads. Specifically because I feel like thinking that satyr are the life of the forest and dryads are the heart. Technically dryads don't have to give a single twisted tit about the animals that live in the trees and considering they are all about making their forests perfect and animals that die and have natural bodily functions aren't always considered perfect. Satyrs however are all about that party, eat, screw, and basically everything that embodies the raunchier side of nature.

Glad to finally get this one out the door
I head headphones on and that screaming goat sound scared the absolute sh*t out of me.
I'll keep that noted for future videos.
Makes me want to make a Phil from Hercules Disney movie for my campaign.
That sounds awesome
God was not excepting that Goat Scream, scared the shit out of me
Goats are terrifying...
If I ever made a satyr, I would name him Drag, and have him hate parties
Lol
I once created a Satyr as a “College of Spirits” bard to be a champion of Phenax.
My satyr is the child of a sapient sylvan goat and a mountain nymph. Mainly because my DM and I agreed it would be funny.
Seems legit

I've talked with a few people that like the Saytr / dryad dicodomy, it can be an interested way of looking at the fey as a whole in the forest.
