It is important to note that while bulalo in Luzon is pochero in Visayas, there is a dish in Luzon that is also called pochero, but is very different from bulalo or Visayan pochero. In Luzon, pochero is a pork stew made with tomato sauce, saba, and beans.
Yes me Too we have a Ka PANGPANGAN RESTAURANT HERE IN LOS ANGELES THERE POCHERO is EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAYS IN YOUR COMMENTS….😂😅😂 I Thought He’s Eating Bulalo 😂😅✌️✌️✌️
I ate in some carenderias or restaurants in some cities in the province. That food that they served you would normally cost 250 to 300. But im surprised it was not so expensive as I thought.
I missed a day 😢 but I'm glad that you like the Pochero. Just a little advice, "La-mi" is the Cebuano's term of Masarap and Cebuano says "Am-ping" instead of ingat. Hope that helps :)

Oh wow! That's another version of Pochero! I've had pork pochero and I think Im going to try the beef one. For Pares, you should try "The Original" Beef Pares located in Mayon Street, Quezon City

I see that they also serve crab omelette. The first time i tried it, I ended up having it for lunch for a week. My staple Cebu City meal is crab omelette with a side of seaweeds (lato), and chicken barbeque.
This is why I prefer and recommend eating in a Carinderia rather in a restaurant. People most especially Filipinos would rather choose to eat in a "turo-turo"(other term for Carinderia) rather than in renowned fast food chains or restaurants simply because "turo-turo" or Carinderia has already played a great role towards provision of genuine Filipino dining experience, it serves home - cooked meals, and the food is cheap!

As far as I know, bulalo in Visayas is called linaga .
The taste in Luzon is different from Cebu. Cebu likes savory and spicy while most places in Luzon likes sour and sweet.
@@firespriteearthcrystalsyou just made that up I can think of hundreds of examples to counter that statement
agree. Pochero in Luzon is like Balbacua in Visayas
@jrexsome1107 Ah i see. No wonder i was so confused why the Pochero in the video looked like Bulalo. You're right, Pochero here in Luzon is different.

You must try the real puchero, real puchero is tomato paste base. The one you try is bulalo
Where would I find it?
Famous food in CEBU lechon with puso (hanging rice).
My mom's Pochero has no tomato sauce, just a clear broth with plantains, cabbage, sweet potatoes.
If you love vegetables recipes try PINAKBET
Cebuano pochero is bulalo for the tagalogs in manila and batangas area.
Gate 5 is our go-to Pochero!

a lot of affordable "pochero house" in Metro Cebu. in mall and restaurant might be expensive.
Yes, good ol Carindarias have affordable prices
The leveled up visayan version of bulalo,

The usual pochero is comes with the sauce not with soup or broth, but it looks delicious though.
