Thank you for pointing out the shoulder joint problem. Just got mine few hours ago. And I really need to see through that before building. You are great.
I know this review is 5 years old but I wanna touch on the shoulder joint for anyone watching this now. The issue is less of it being tight and more of HOW the shoulder joint functions. It's a Keyhole mechanism. Which means the peg has a little indent jutting out and the hole factors that in. Which means when you push the key joint through the keyhole peghole, you need the Key lip of that joint to fully poke through before moving the joint in ANY fashion. Failing to do this will not have the joint move and you're just twisting the peg, which'll sheer the peg off. So you need to push it through all the way and ensure it's got enough clearance on the lip to not snag. I would know about sheering this. Not on the RG Sazabi though, but the Full Armor Gundam (Thunderbolt) Ver.Ka. Has this SAME mechanism in the shoulder...I had to buy another one to replace cause living in the UK replacement part services are non-existent basically.
Bruno Soares Wow. That almost made some sort of sense. So, they WILL make the kit that I said would be P-Bandai? That's amazing. It's almost like they'd have to make it for it to be P-Bandai, so you added nothing. Congrats.
Beautiful kit. Just purchased it, didn't regret it. Looks great out of the box if detailing and/or painting isn't your thing. Can't go wrong with this one.
Kinda tempted to get this thing to replace my HGUC on the shelf... normally wouldn't do that but my HGUC has really wonky ball jointed hips that barely hold on, and I can't find a substitute Polycap to use in there instead. A shame about the shoulder issue. I had my RG Unicorn "butterfly joint" shoulder part break. Superglue fixed it for now, but still a shame. Great review man!
Never been a fan of red mobile suits but this looks perfect. I need this for my RG collection. I wish the sinanju had this type of construction of the inner frame....it would've been perfect.
This is my first RG kit that I’ve built and I have to say it is worth every cent. It’s now my favorite kit of all time and it took a lot of patience (3 days), but it was rewarding seeing it complete.
He's my 3rd Gunpla, and second RG, he looks so awesome towering over RG RX-78-2 Gundam, my RG Nu Gundam can't get here soon enough to give him some backup XD
Giod review. I bought the DL water slides from ebay. I'm only using the foils and Neo Zeon emblem from the sticker sheet. This is a great build so far and I've only just started the right leg. The detail is mind blowing.
Wow this kit looks dope. I was super skeptical with how stiff the Sinanju was and with this being the bulkier MS, but I can say that I'm very impressed! I don't usually get RGs but I think I'll have to get this one for kicks (literally)!
Same here, my Sazabi arrived first and is intimidating my poor little RG RX-78-2 Gundam, hopefully RG Nu Gundam will get here soon to give him backup XD
I KNEW IT! I totally called that this is one of the best gunpla kits ever made in ANY scale. Its freaking fantastic! maybe I should start a gunpla channel. edit: yeah I'm totally waiting for a waterslide set. I can't believe real grades still come with stickers yuk! I used the stickers on my RG Unicorn, and then removed them 3 months later.
Considering the PG Exia is a $300 kit, you could buy the Sazabi 6 times over, I would say the Sazabi is a better kit for the money. I don't actually have one because I don't collect 1/60 scale, its HUGE. The fact they made an amazing kit at 1/60 is a lot less impressive to me than an equally amazing kit at 1/144 due to the technical engineering that had to go into this. And completely subjectively, I think the Sazabi is way cooler than the Exia.
Just finished applying stickers to my RG Raiser because I can't top coat right now to protect the waterslides. The stickers look decent imo, I might top coat over the stickers when I get a chance.
This built felt more like i was building a MG than a RG. My only complaint is the pink color they used. I think they couldve used a darker red rather than pink. Im thinking of painting this one shade of red.
"Fake funnels" funny though there is a version called DFF Nu gundam which you guess the name is doubles the amount number of fin funnels that nu gundam has. It fits it like the left execpt on the right and is like a mirror to the original left.
Think my only complaint about the kit is it doesn't have the long rifle. I'm a sucker for long rifles on Gunpla so that would have sold me on getting it. Maybe later down the line when there's waterslides available. Thanks for the reviews you do dude!
The aides of the back pack open up as well, like the back skirt. The crotch tilts forward to allow better waist rotation, also the waist itself can rock left to right.
Love this kit. I wonder tho you handle the hole thing without it breaking a part, mine feels kinda fragile. Specially the shield... It comes off pretty easily. Is there something special you did?
The rg is the size of a small Master grade, however the the mg is the size of a small perfect grade, but I would definitely recommend the mg. But if it is size that you want then mg , but rg make really fun desk toys, but if you want a long build mg, I do a lot of research on a kit before I buy it ,so do research it helps more than you would think
MG is an impressive thing to look at. Just that. It just looks amazing. It doesn't have to be too dynamic, it doesn't have to be in a flying pose, or jumping or crouching or whatever, just standing there looks the best to me. scontent.fbeg2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/22813978_1465823363531804_3280469411694943968_n.jpg?_nc_cat=0&oh=4088af040ea79650893a962119789d67&oe=5BFBE0A2 This is more than enough for me and how it's posed on my shelf. It's a powerful pose.
I mentioned this in someone else's video: the lack of clear effect parts that showcases funnel launch is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Because MS like Qubeley, Sazabi, Nightingale and such, cannot be posed well due to their bulk. Without effect parts to showcase funnels, there's just no way to demonstrate their strength and magnificence. The HG 1/44 Destiny Gundam is a perfect example of this: it's got so many effect parts there's virtually nothing you cannot do with the kit.
I found pushing the shoulders on from the peg rather than clip it down saves the piece from stress as i tried and it felty like it was gonna stretch too much.. but wow this kit is amazing
The clear parts on the sticker look bad, because of the air that remains stuck under the sticky tape. It turns it kinda milky white. (light difusion I guess). They become much more transparent once you've given them a good rub to push that air out. You can use your fingernail (not the sharp edge, but the flat end) for instance.
Only thing this kit is missing, is a left trigger finger hand. Its the biggest (possibly only advantage of articulated hands), no need to worry that a kit won't include hand options for your desired posing.
Anyone else’s beam saber effect parts also loosened up to the point where they just fall out of the sabers? Or was that just because I kept switching them out? Either way I tightened them up :))
Now we just need the jegan, regz, geara and jagd doga and that zeong looking thing, and then we'll have all the cca ms in rg form Then bandai needs to make them in mg form.

Great review my dude
@Zaku what was the mistake?
@@jaketheberge1970 at the end when he was showing off the problem with the shoulder lol
@Churro Art it was just showing the kit still, instead of the manual.
Hi Zaku... I believe the fragile part is the pink pegs on th picture on the right that connects the shoulder to the chest frame..
In case anyone is still curious, pulling the front of the skirt (as shown on 9:09) allows you to rotate the torso.
thanks so much i was wondering why it did that lol
They nailed the armor separation. I love this because you could do a straight build and it looks great. The funnels blew my mind!
Hello
Everyone who has bought or is planning to get the sazabi

Building the kit myself,i first build the entire frame and now armoring it, building this way is an amazing experience
Picked up one myself, it was a pretty fun build. Built it after the RG Nu Gundam. Both are good kits
Every time an RG comes out it's the best RG ever made... This line does not disappoint at all :P
Next RG is gonna be the nu gundam, I'm sure of it.
Nope it's FA unicorn they showed off.
There's no way the FA Unicorn is a regular release. That's P-Bandai for sure.
Simple Answer they made this, they will make the fa unicorn
There will be an RG Nu Gundam soon.
Bruno Soares Wow. That almost made some sort of sense.
So, they WILL make the kit that I said would be P-Bandai? That's amazing. It's almost like they'd have to make it for it to be P-Bandai, so you added nothing. Congrats.
15:20 You can actually push the tomhawk handle in the connector and it will sit plush
please give us a rg kshatriya this proves that Bandai can do it !!
The weight of the binders is the problem. And that’s not a lead MS or lead enemy MS, so not very likely
Remember Bandai show Kshatriya silhouette on RE lines, well don't cross fingers
It wasn't a RE line exclusive but more as a guideline of what they might do in the future. Some of the things came as MGs, some as RE.
@@ZakuAurelius they could use a screw together frame for the binders. I wouldn't mind paying for it. Kshatrya is my favorite
