- Here's the Real-Grade 1/144 scale Full Armor Unicorn Gundam. I've just gotta say that out of alllllll the Unicorn kits out there this is probably the ultimate version of the kit to get. It's the most solid, it transforms, it's articulation is great, nice details, and ALL those weapons!

With all the variations between the Unicorn, Banshee, and Phenex, sometimes I wish Bandai would give you the option to buy the weapons and Psycho-Frames independent of the kit.
Ramiro de Souza Bandai did that with the PG Banshee, which was cool

RG unicorn is an impressive kit on its own but that looks fantastical. So many accessories. Enough to share one with each current RG kit. Price is high but justifiable

I got this kit last week. As well as the normal RG Unicorn.
This kit..... it scares me. It has taken over my life with how much I play around with its arsenal, making infinite weapon combinations with its limitless potential. I need help.
I wanted to buy this. Now I am afraid I am going to refrain from going through with the custom kitbash I am going to do with it when I get it.

@@Akiwaaa_ I did get it. It’s held up pretty well, it surprisingly doesn’t really get ERS. I say get because my other rg unicorn has become a floppy mess from me posing it too much. Also, be extra careful with the shoulders, they break really easy with the added weight of the Gatling shields
@@gundamenjoyer217 Ahhh, that’s kinda sucks the ERS still there even tho it’s not much. Really interested to the Unicorn since that’s a cool gundam, like it looks “basic”(?) But there’s just like something interesting on the design
But well, after the last RG that I build which is Force Impulse, I probably won’t and don’t wanna go back to experience the ERS over again. Since yeaa, I got some RG that doesn’t holds up pretty well. Seems like I am just gonna skip it and go with the Hi Nu.
@@Akiwaaa_ I do think you should get the hi-nu over it, but I think it’s still a really good buy. As long as you’re careful with it, it looks awesome.

Beautiful kit. Horrible experience to build and extremely fragile. And yes, I have this and the Banshe Norn. Beware with those arms, back leg trusters and the antenas/horn
The only RG I've built yet that required some Gunpla-yoga for fear of breaking parts 😅

personally i wish canonically they used the unicorn perfectibility but the full armor unicorn is super cool.
seriously i really wish i had that rg, the real grade unicorns are the best versions of all of them

eventually followed by other Unicorn kits in RG. I like to build groupings from each series but don't want to build the MG Unicorns due to nightmare stories and hate stickers for the Sinanju. Shame, that....love MG kits.
I got on the Rg Unicorn bandwagon way late but I built up a Banshee recently and man what a great kit. May have to get this soon

I'm in the exact same boat. I've just started building again and got hooked on real grades. Crossbone had me wanting to go back to 1/100 scale. Those pieces were insane tiny
maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have the red psycho-frame over green. makes the full armour version look "angrier", if tt makes sense.
Considering it also was only in the Full Armor configuration with the red frame, you're not wrong.

Are you using the Action Base 5 to display the model in your video? I just ordered one, but I don't think it includes a stand.

@@rodneyrinehart7513 That's actually the Unicorn Perfectibility, thankfully (Even though I really want that, too). We still have yet to see any word on an RG Phenex, but all they need to mold now is the v-fin for it.
@@Studio_OZKai watch. That announcement was made about 2 months before the movie released. You might be right, but I'm pretty sure they are releasing Phenex exactly the same as they did Perfectability.

You know you can do that three shield funnel with tamashi nation stand because it has a claw to hold the shield (look builders tv)
That piece on the backpack, the one that lowers the shield, isn’t for just lowering them. It’s actually for use with the Armed Armor DE, and the reason it mounts lower is because of how big the shield is. I think that also implies a P-Bandai or manga-related RG 1/144 Armed Armor DE (Awakened Ver.) for the Unicorn (if so, I hope it’s a three pack)
I'm building this one right now and my god is it a beast of a real grade!

I hear some others complain about weight issue and balance, but like....it's a space type suit. Just use the stand lol. Awesome looking kit, waiting for mine to arrive!
BlueFacondor I bought one from Taiwan’s Base 6 weeks ago, and let me tell you - this is a much better choice as compared to the Ka version
Its balance on a display stand is great. One downside is that the forearm bit, with the javelin equipped, is slightly loose, but it’s very minor

I think you had the beam saber holders reversed. The hollow spaces should probably face forward so they're not visible as much.
no, the beam sabers only fit in to the arm the way that he had them, its partially because the arm piece doesnt close again when they are faceing the other way and partially so that you can use the beam tonfa when the kit is in destroy mode.

Don't need to use glue, you can use double sided tape.

For the folks that make it to the end of your videos, you could through a blooper in for your outro occasionally. (Jump from swing, botch landing. Come down slide, yell as you take out the camera stand upon exiting). Don’t hurt yourself but have fun with it. Something funny. Great job as always!
If you get another handheld beam rifle and Joplin could you stack the javelin in the weapon stack in the other arm and can the other left and also hold the extra beam rifle if you were to get one like have the absolute most armored up each arm
No shield connector?
The RG unicorn Bande desinee ver is my first RG and i almost hated it. I should have moved the joints slowly and sand down the pegs on the hip, but even with all the bad experiences i have with my unicorn i'm still happy with it. I made a new shoulder for it and fixed the hip with some super glue and virgin oil. I'm definitely going to pick this up and i need another 1/144 scale Banagher, mine is broken

If I had the space I would get the FA Unicorn and then several regular unicorns and have each one be armed with one of the weapons.
i use HG full armor unicorn weapon on my RG unicorn, rather than buy this kit...lol

The Full Armor Unicorn Gundam is awesome! The dark clear green Psycho-Frame looks great!
Yet another unicorn to get along with my original rg both hg full armour types (unicorn and destroy) banshee destroy and phenix narrative (ok so i like unicorns ,I even had my photo done with the statue in Tokyo holding haro ) plus this rg would give me a reason to use my action base 1 (unicorn version, standard base with unicorn stickers)
Excited to see what it looks hooked up to banshee and eventually phenix

Not sure about the Gatling guns but the javelin is different from the HG version

This RG version is SO MUCH BETTER than the Ka version overall, even the after-build maintenance. I highly recommend this kit to all Unicorn lovers😍 10/10

Hey complete Gunpla newcomer here. I was looking at my first model to buy and came across this one. I found a Master Grade version of it too. Can anyone tell me what the differences between the MG and RG version are?
I’m not sure how much I talked about it in the review, but the biggest difference, aside from the size, is the stability. This kit is much more stable and easy to pose. The MG is essentially a brick

It's a reference to the original Beam Javelin that was used by the RX-78-2.

The perfect grade actually has nice articulation, it is just a little heavier than the tiny one.
yeah too heavy to hold most poses. that's the problem with most PG kits
Which is a better kit to buy: the RG z'gok or the RG gundam mark 2?
I can only buy one and I want to know which one is the most fun to build and pose and the overall solidity.
Mk II is known for being a super solid kit.

Can you use micro sol and set on sticker type decals?
Microsol won’t do anything to help stickers
My main gripe with this kit is the ecaps for the beam magnum should be blue. It wouldn't have been that hard to have that part on one of the blue runners.
true. it's a small thing but considering RGs are made to look as good as possible without painting- they should have done that.
@@ZakuAurelius I know it would be easy to paint myself and I always want to paint my kits. I just never do it and then there is the winter where it's just too cold to paint anything in my home.

Your gonna have to use maybe the HG ver stand or some other stand to make the illusion of the tri shield as far as I can tell.

such a mess... gundam mecha designers have basically gone insane. If this actually had to move it would be clumsy as hell. lol All space mechs end up being visually busy mess of thrusters and flaps and chunky bits on thier backs lol
I wish there was a red version of the full armor RG Unicorn - the green frame looks nowhere near as cool, plus it reminds me of how dumb the ending of the series was.
