came back to this video after a year since completing my own rg unicorn FA to say that you're the reason why I even bought it. spent over a month (if I only count the days I worked on it) starting in my two week quarantine and ending when we finally moved in. though I had to repair parts I broke during the process, it's so far the best model I've built. it's my 2nd gundam AND the second rg I own. It’s going to be the only gundam that gets to keep its display spot in my room. thank you for inspiring me to return to gundam after almost forgetting about them after the basically ruined rg zeta I built(bought one more to rebuild it more profesionally).
@@Luzhong_editz honestly the Zeta was built so scuffed and I'm still impressed I even managed to complete it(albeit fked). like I did the idiot method of cutting out EVERYTHING and only managed to get it done because I could recognize the parts by shape. as for the Unicorn... the arms broke because of the stiff joints like many others before me. didn't have any good tools around so I did the next best thing of cutting the head side of a small nail I found and using it as the new hinge post for the elbow that I had to remove the post from due to the superglue I used for the repairs making it impossible to remove. up close, you can tell just how much I had to "destroy" the whole thing just to get it together.
@@jerrylim6722 I see, "destroy" lol, ngl currently building the unicorn and the only current Issue is that I accidentally broke the right leg thruster part but I fixed it with super glue(though the connection is wrong making the part slightly off the actual look), for the arms I have experience with building the rg banshee norn first(haven't finished) from reaserching the kit and finding a tip from a channel RUclips about fixing the stiff arms which helped me when I build the banshee's arm but the connection of the right arm to the chest(the 3 polycap thing for both arms)broke which is why I haven't finished it, had that same problem with my unicorn but now try to disassemble like gio with more confidence, succeeded but the part broke again so gonna redo that and the banshee norn in the future
I didnt’t think that gundam model kits could be so relaxing. Those clippers have made my ears happy. P.S. I just got my first gundam model kit yesterday and i am so hooked.
8:39 Daelim Water Slide Decal has lower resolution and less adhesion than other products. I recommend Delphi water slide stickers. Delpi decal has high resolution and high adhesion and includes service stickers. It is a sticker brand that is highly regarded in Korea.
Noted on this mate, thanks! I actually bought a Delpi first, and it was a beautiful, holographic emerald green! But then I decided to use a decal sheet with the original colors. I agree, the Delpi one seems to be of higher quality

lol i have a kotobukiya liger zero panzer kit i've been working for, for the last 3 years, my progress is around 5% but this one is different, i bet the video editing took large chunk of that... i don't even wanna imagine editing all that footage
If you fuss over cleaning all nub marks...yeah, they're a nightmare. I love the building part, and I'm currently airbrushing for the first time. But the sanding...I hate it so much.

haha that's the case usually. Give or take, editing takes twice as long as the footage. but for this one, building took much longer; neighborhood got a lot noisier so I had to wait for longer before I could proceed haha. Thanks so much for watching bro!

After watching this I have lots of questions about these figures. How they are designed? Who makes the 3D printing? Who designs the booklet and the axonometrics? Who design the presentation of these assemblies? Who produces the template of these pieces? Are they done in Grasshopper 3D? Rhino, Maya, Revit? How this is done? You see these videos makes me invest some time figuring out how to make a full model with all these instructions for an assembly. The industry of Gundam is way too big.

haha that's the case usually. Give or take, editing takes twice as long as the footage. but for this one, building took much longer; neighborhood got a lot noisier so I had to wait for longer before I could proceed haha. Thanks so much for watching bro!

After watching this I have lots of questions about these figures. How they are designed? Who makes the 3D printing? Who designs the booklet and the axonometrics? Who design the presentation of these assemblies? Who produces the template of these pieces?
Are they done in Grasshopper 3D? Rhino, Maya, Revit? How this is done? You see these videos makes me invest some time figuring out how to make a full model with all these instructions for an assembly.
The industry of Gundam is way too big.
Firstly, it’s not 3D printed, it is injection molded. The people at the Bandai hobby Center at Shizuoka Japan make all of it.
