    Epic Outdoors in Utah also has a stud available that fits the Swarovski tripod mount. It’s black and blends in with the binos without noticing and it’s not nearly as obtrusive. The Swarovski mount is a lever quick release. Both are great, but if you already have a Swaro tripod adapter it’s a fantastic option. I corresponded with Swarovski North America and the guy said he is hopeful they will have their own mount for the NLs this summer during the new product release. They’ve been asking for it for several years.

    Why not just use a stainless steel thread adapter? Also $50 that's insane. I get the binos are $3k but thats a little bit gougie.

    Love your gear. Thinking about getting 12x42 for me and 8x32 for my wife. Will this work for the 8x32 nl pures?

    Does it void Swarovski's warranty?

      No. you are not modifying the binoculars.

      @@jameywaite7396 I have it on very good authority (one of their top retailers) that it does. However, if you're sending them back it wouldn't be an issue to remove this stud beforehand, blue thread locker isn't that hardcore.

    Same process for the new EL RANGE w/TA?

    • @Outdoorsmans
      @Outdoorsmans  3 года назад +1

      Any EL model bought from us includes a stud for free. The install is a little different, and must be done at our machine shop. Find more info here outdoorsmans.com/collections/all/products/outdoorsmans-swarovski-el-stud-install

    👍 can I do the same/similar with my Leica Geovid 3200.com / 8x42?

    • @Outdoorsmans
      @Outdoorsmans  4 года назад

      Unfortunately, the Geovid model does not take a stud. We do a solid alternative made for that exact issue if you want to take a look!

    It only costs $195 to put the stud ,.adapter and arca plate on my NLs🤣. Whatever, buy once , cry once. That $50 stub is a GOUGE THO! There I feel better.

      You wouldn't put $20 tires on a $60,000 truck, would ya? Glad you've seen the light, Montucky Man.
