Thats what i can tell from my own experience. If you feel differently you could probably try to wash the armor with the soap and brush set. Have you tried that already?
@@JojotheGearGirl Sorry for the late reply. Yes of course, I maintain my binoculars as I should, and always have. Besides the fact that it is strange that Swaro now offers this soap for this new coating, it is now recognized by many users, and by the brand itself, that this coating can be problematic, crack, becoming sticky, etc etc. (EL's had this problem too !) Swaro of course does not advertise it, but has announced for some time that a new coating has been developed, and that NL's having this problem will be covered for free with the new coating (~ 6 or 7 weeks delay). I don't have any problems with cracking or splitting, but sometimes I do find the coating a little sticky, depending on the temperature outside, sweat, etc, which had never happened before, and I have been a Swaro user forever. If I had known this before, soon 2 years ago, I would have waited a little while to be sure to have this new coating. Anyway and apart from that, I totally agree with you : stunning binoculars !!!! 😉 Here just one exemple (not mine) : ahp.li/b54dd0c39c720d4cd9cc.jpg

Armor which is very 'grippy' and not 'sticky' is not true at all !!
