You serious!!! I've been to almost each state of the NE and to be honest there's nothing beautiful and breadth taking things to see in Mizoram except for the culture, tradition, custom. From my experience the good thing abt Mizoram is that people adhere to traffic rules & don't honk unnecessarily and its very peaceful compare to the rest of the country. They are very unfriendly to outsiders if you from the mainland, unlike other NE states there's language barrier here and most of them can't speak Hindi or English. Don't visit during rainy season as there's lots of landslide and you could get stuck for days. The only Airport is small and you don't get flights everyday unlike their neighbors where you get 5-10 flights daily

But yeah that palace serves as the State Museum currently and recently there has been quite a few tourist friendly developments around the place. There's some more spots in the state.
