Royal Enfield bikes are THE best in the world. Any kind of bikes can be driven anywhere. Yet, there are some bikes especially made for mountain climbing. Think of the standard of those mountain bikes. Fun fact, the mountain they were riding on is called Himalayas, highest peaks in the world and Enfield's mountain bike is also called Himalayan

    A little info-
Royal Enfield , a British company during the world war 2 supplied bikes in India . Later on it was owned by an Indian company (saved the dying brand) , at first only army personals used to own these bike but later it became available to the public. Available in 350cc, 500cc and now in 650cc twin cylinder, people buy these brilliant machines with a lot of history and take them to the mountains.
Blessed with the Himalaya, Leh & Ladakh people often go there to take a break from their regular life, skip the everyday routine. Everything is pristine and pure there.

And for troy, you cannot always ride close to the wall 😄 coz you have to be on your side of the road and every now and then there’s going to be cliffs on your side. In fact on various occasions you will have to stop very close to a cliff for a truck to pass coz the roads are narrow. You have to deal with your fear of heights when you riding in Himalayas.

It is not just a ride to choose any bike, the footage just made it look like easy. Its the toughest journey and you will need to carry more language along with fuel cans for the motorcycle.
but Yes!!!!! many ppl have done this trip with simple motorcycles too.!!!

We do not have much options when it comes to motorcycles in India. Any good adventure bike like triumph, bmw or Hondas will cost us almost twice than its actuall value. Royal Enfield makes high torque engine and recently Bajaj started doing the same for the bikes meant for these terrains. Also, they are very cheap. Royal Enfield bikes usually starts from 1600 USD in India before taxes. Recently prices have been increased
