depends on the region of northeast. people from arunachal, sikkim, and nagaland look the closest to east asians. rest of northeast looks more se asian or mainland indian mixed.
Come to manipur you Japanese people will cry for sure...more than 3 lakhs soldiers died here in imphal world war 2 ...and still we preserve your forefathers remnant with care...our local also help a lots in fooding and nursing at the time of cholera epidemic at that time as our facial are somewhat similar as compared to British or allied forces as our grandmother used to tell the story like this ...about Japan lan or Japan war..they didn't recognise as world war 2...only Japan lan that all....so lot of patriotic connection

Actually lot of people outside of India don't know that India is probably the most diverse country ethnically and racially.
There are four major different races living in India: Caucasoid (North Indians), Dravidian or Australoid(South Indians), Mongoloid (Northeast Indians) and Negroid (Andamanese).

There are also a few Japanese cultural events and stalls hosted by the Embassy of Japan in India.
Totally agree with 7 amazing things about North east India, My wife is from North east (Arunachal Pradesh).
And about people from our area, Since I belong to south India (Bangalore) and comparing our families (Parents) I can say a few words from my prospective. South Indians are shy, little reserved - until u get to know the other person properly.

According to a report, much of our North-east is hilly. There’s almost negligible chances of making cricket fields (except in Guwahati and parts of Tripura). So, football is more easily played and accepted and other kinds of sports. We have always been more influenced by dominant cultures of Japan, China, South Korea, Thailand, etc. All these countries are supportive of football as a sport .

Oh we NE people value sports just like the way you explained how Japanese people values it 😊.. team spirit, function as a responsible citizens in the society, discipline and all 😊😊 i am from the NE state of Nagaland and believe me,some of us( Nagas and Japanese) have similar sounding names too 🤣🤣 and on a serious note,During WW2 the Japanese troops came here ,it was a time of war and suffering and sadly The Japanese troops lost the war but we locals never forget about them,They treated us very good with respect,and we all have a mutual respect and brotherhood. Like,from what I heard from a story ,At first Both sides got a shock because they all look similar 🤣🤣 and the British allied troops mistook some local villagers as The Japanese troops and shot at them too.
While this is all good, I refuse to believe the Japanese were shocked by the Naga people looking Mongoloid, simply because Japanese were already invading Burma and South-East Asia, they would have been used to other Mongoloid races living around the area. And Nagaland is just a stone throw's away from Burma, where my Grand-uncle served as a Forest Ranger.

@5:16 Yes, this is especially true in my society, i.e., Mizo. We can't stand haughtiness, arrogance, conceit, etc. (I mean who can, right?). Society will be quick to criticize you or in some cases ridicule you if you display such negative qualities. It doesnt matter if you are an officer, an academic, minister, a person with a humble job, etc., our society puts some kind of a moral obligation on everyone of its people to remain humble. With that being said, we are by no means perfect.
Hmm its quite similar how is it in japan. People are like way too humble. I think its becoz of the society pressure or the way the society tradition exist for years. Do something different then u are bound to be critisized

There is a temple called padmanabhaswamy temple in South India its one of the most mysterious temple in india it has 5 vaults opened and 2 closed till now , the people who tried opening other 2 cursed vaults died the next day, the vaults that have been opened contained huge amount of solid gold, huge bags of jewelry and diamonds, it's said that the amount of gold and jewelry and total wealth of the 5 vaults together estimated to be around 22 billion dollar and more

I am from Gujarat exact opposite to North East India we are the western side of india
Gujarati are most of vegetarian and we are single dry state ( alcohol banned). Gujarati people are so cool and calm and adventurers also
We have the longest coastline in India and a rich Culutre in terms of economics and traditions. Our mother tongue is Gujarati it's very similar to hindi and we have the largest( area wise) city of India kachchha and we have desert of white sand also
Only we have the Asian lions in all continent and Garba ( type of traditional dance ) is famous all around Nation most of we do that in Navaratri festival but sometimes in celebration like marriage also
We have other traditional dance of tribes also so it's cool and we have a city called surat where 90% of Diamond go through the work of cutting and shining
And our architecture is so diverse and amazing so I love my state and first veg Branch of the dominos was open in ahmedabad in Gujarat and Gandhi ji and the ironman of india sardar vallabhbhai patel was also from Gujarat
but that's not it

In upper Assam, the ethnic ppl of the state who are called Assamese ppl are very humble,gentle in their talks mostly and do a have a great hospitality towards guests.... I sometimes don't pay the bills iof the shop instantly and the shopkeepers in here are like "ok pay me later" means the level of trust and the honesty of the ppl towards each other is very very high!

Oh hey Nami! I am from a small city of India(Jharkhand state) and I am in class 12th. I was just scrolling and found your channel. I loved your 'trying Indian food shorts', so I visited to your channel and subscribed. I watched all your videos and I want to tell you that before watching your videos I had a thought about India that India is just a small country and nothing is special about it, it's just a developing country where people are not much fashionable and I should go foreign for my higher educations and all. But after watching your I realised I am too much wrong.. Indian traditions, Indian foods, Indian peoples are so much beautiful.
