Blockchain is basically the main thing that utilises a ton electricity and is really bad for the environment. It’s kinda tough to explain what blockchain is,but once you understand you’ll know why it’s so bad for the environment. bitcoin is also stored on blockchain and that is why it also wastes a lot of electricity.
