Really handy refresher on the method. Been several years since I last used DSDM. Played this at high speed and within 40 or so minutes I'm back in touch at a high level. At ground zero all agile goes back to heart of agile so this helicopter view of some of the surrounding and necessary (sorry purists) governance mechanisms was really good.
Hi Timothy That's the beauty of the video, that one can run at whatever speed suits, rewind and review time and again as needed! Pleased to know it helped review and remind! Do have a look, if you have not already, at the other videos on this channel. Some directly linked to AgilePM others more generic for projects in general. I am about to release a booklet on using AgilePM at the same level in the same vein as the video, to accompany the video. I will post a blanket message for all visitors and subscribers. ciao Antony

@Rainbowcookie 4230 Hi Sue Thank you for those glowing compliments - I am very happy to know you enjoyed the course and these videos (will send you a direct reply later...) All the best with the Practitioner and keep in touch! Antony
Great summary of the DSDM lifecycle and products (documents). I would recommend not only for those who are before their AgilePM DSDM training but also as part of the preparation for the exam to put all the puzzle pieces together. Excellent overview. Thanks, Anthony.
Hi Den Thank you for your comments and pleased to read that the videos have been of help to you!!! Hope you will find the other videos as interesting and helpful If you have any particular topic of interest, let me know so can see to maybe produce something in response. regards Antony
Thank you so much . I attended the Foundation and Practitioner course last week however much of it didn't make sense, but having watched your videos I'm starting to feel confident when I sit my exams next week. Clear and concise, really helped in understanding the various phases, what is completed in each, and when the products are produced.
Hi Pav Thank you for your comments nad feedback and pleased to read that the video was helpfulk to your understanding and grasping of the framework. That was my aim!! Hello Hevin I am really pleased you enjoyed the video and thank you for your kind comments - makes it worthwhile! regards Antony PS: Note that I now offer a fully accredited eLearning course for this approach - see the description for the link!
Thank you for this, having read the Handbook twice and going through other course material, I needed something like this to refresh everything step by step in one go. The flow of your delivery is absolutely brilliant. You should get your material on LinkedIn Learning as well so that it is available to larger audience. I couldn't find anything noteworthy on LinkedIn Learning regarding DSDM. (just a suggestion)
Hi Ahmad Thank you for your very positive comments and happy to read the video worked so well for you. I have thought about LL, just not sure about the audience!!!! It is big... not just in numbers :-) I do have a complete PM course on another platform, the link is on the bottom right of my banner on the landing page of this channel. There are also short courses on topics such as Planning and Governance. All video based just as this AgilePM lifecycle is, in case you are interested. regards antony

Hi Giorgio If by "waterfall", (which, btw, in my opinion and others, does NOT exist as such 😀), you mean traditional project methodology, the only other to AgilePM being PRINCE2, then this one provides a better understanding of what it is to take an "agile" approach. In reality, it's in the mind. It's how you interpret the approach and apply it. Note also that every project is unique so then is the approach. Build the toolkit of techniques etc and use whatever the initiative needs to deliver it. No such thing as a standard approach, "one size fits all". Watch the video on this channel that explains the relationship between standard, P2 and AgilePM methods.
Giorgio Note that I have a full accredited e-learning course that is delivered in the same fashion as this 1 hr video Follow the link below bit.ly/AgilePMeLearning You can enrol for free to start to view a couple of lessons and if that is what you like then you can enrol with the fee for the full course!!! Hi Amrit I appreciate your concern. As I am sure you also appreciate, this is a recording and so cannot change it. The colour green is never very good in digital, hecne the issue for Scanners! I use it to emphasize the "Technical" aspect, "solution" also. During the diting, in order to make the rest clearer and brighter, the "green" suffered a bit. I have sourced and tested different green pens and have used these in subsequent recordings and also refrained from changing the colour balance. regards Antony PS I plan to record the AgilePM course fully in order to deliver as an accredited self-paced course - I will be using a different green!

Hi Simon, I hope you found the video helpful besides that. In fact the word is two syllables "pro" and "ject" and not sure why you think it is Australia :-)
I'm with Simon, good content and informative which is the main thing. But that's definitely the wrong way to pronounce Project, unless you are speaking American English?
Noooo, see note above. I am British and my diction is as such. The word has TWO syllables, "pro" and "ject" pro is just that, as in pro fession al, pro fuse ly, pro noun and so on... :-) And thanks for the good feedback and positve comments on the content!!! There is relatively little agility in the so-called AgilePM. Antony makes every effort to convince us this quotient is close to zero.
That depends on "your" definition of agile/agility 😀
oh, and BTW, I am explaining the DSDM framework AgilePM, I am.not defining agile, that's in another video
