Singer and songwriter Eliza Sonnenschein is a soul artist from New Orleans. Her gospel roots, mixed with jazz, have become her trademark. Eliza is often referred to as a pop star, which she denies: "Books," she says, "are not judged by their cover!" She was born in Germany, spent her childhood in Italy, ended up in New Orleans "just in time to go to school", and lived in Houston and Washington DC as an adult. Today she lives in New Orleans, which she considers her home. This is her first time at JazzAscona and she is considered one of the rising stars of the Big Easy's soul scene. S

Unbelievable! Where have the jazz moments from the nineties gone until about 2015 in Ascona? ?
I have read the program quite a bit this year and heard a few things.
But I made the right decision and stayed away.
