I love, love, love this stripped down unplugged piano version. Its slowed down tempo reslky gives this classic song a whole new sound and feel. Bravo, Nate
Was just thinking that this would be an awesome song for a tutorial last night, woke up this morning to find it uploaded. This version is so beautiful! Glad you went with it. Another "unplugged" version of a song I'd really love to see you do is Layla by Eric Clapton. I used to be a soloist in a jazz choir and Layla unplugged was my main feature. I'd love to learn it on piano now that the singing days are behind me :)
Bravo, Nate. This song in the acoustic version is wonderful and your interpretation of it is great. Thank you very much for sharing it with us. One more "the best tutorial". There are so many "the best"🙂
I love your piano tutorials and I play the piano also I've learned some songs and there are some songs I would love to learn 1. The future so bright (I got to wear shades) Timbuk 3 from 1986 2. Talking in your sleep by The Romantics from 1983 3. Modern woman by billy Joel from 1986 4.Time ( is like a clock in my heart) by Culture club from 1982 5. It's a Miracle- by Culture club from 1983 6. Blinded me with science by Thomas Dolby from 1982 7.DER kommersiar by After the Fire from 1982 these songs might be hard to learn on piano and the beautiful song Sister Christian by Night Ranger. From 1983
Nice tutorial. Interesting interpretation of the original. If you’re into MTV unplugged versions for tutorials, a really cool one to consider is the piano version of Matchbox 20’s 3am.
Thank you! I love the list of songs you do. You have some of my favourite artist like the Cure, Smiths, Pixies and such..... Would love to see some Depeche Mode ('Somebody' specifically), New Order or more Cure! You've been helping my piano journey in a big way!
Awesome! Glad you're enjoying the channel. Good suggestions...I feel like I've been on a 60's and 70's kick here lately and need to hit more 80's soon :)
@@PianowithNate Your recent video about being too old to start learning, resonated with me. I turned 50 back in March and i bought myself an Arturia Keylab controller so I can learn actual piano and music theory.
Sometimes I am hesitant to start with the most complicated part of the song, as I dont want beginners who just want simple chords to sing the verse and chorus to get overwhelmed and close the video. But maybe it is more confusing to not just go in order...your comment is good feedback for me!
Hi, thanks for the video. Unfortunately, the charts doesn't come. I've tried with my gmail, also my work email address several times, also checked in the spams. Can I download it somewhere else?
It's funny i never liked this song in its dance form. i started to like the acoustic guitar version from the last of us game, and then i found the stripped-down piano version that was a nice slow version. Somthing about slowing the song down just makes it more enjoyable to me at least. I had motivation to learn the guitar version and now i got the motivation to learn the piano version

Dear Nate, can you please do a tutorial of Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd.
Good idea! I do have a different Pink Floyd tutorial in the works right now :)
Fantastic
Awesome stuff. At first I was worried you weren't going play that fast main opening synth riff. Although, why didn't you start with it?

Totally...the slower tempo allows you to hear the beauty in the songwriting
