@Peanut Gallery objectively untrue. 80s fans like keyboards and synths, most 70s fans are enjoying guitar. two different things. this is like saying people who like surrealist paintings are biased, since renaissance painters are clearly the best. you are comparing apples to oranges. you seem like the type of person who thinks 2010 was a bad decade for music.
Its also not the full song, but still enough to be recognizable, but technology has went a long way. You can make music with only needing a pc now. Although still trying to get the time available to learn those keys
@@Adam-bb9rm It's a bit complicated because you have to study a lot of things, but you can easily succeed. I started in November with these 2 little keyboards. I'm a guitarist not a keyboard player. And now I'm 50 years old but I have the enthusiasm of a child!
Not me I hated this song. Publicly. But in secret, it was totally rad😂. No matter the genre the 80s was to me the last decade of originality. 90s we’re ok but the 80s was pretty cool. That was my kindergarten to junior high years. That was the time MTV was music television. 🤘🏽🤘🏽

No one or nothing can beat the synthesizers. Japan has given so much to this world... Great cars, great music and technology in general. People arent thankful enough for that.
I mean, I must have been 10 years old listening to this song and thinking I love every second of this. Now I'm 45-- and still completely in love with every second of it.
Goes to show you, if you have real musical talent, you don't need a ton of expensive equipment. With some decent VSTs and two mini-controllers totalling less than 250 brand new, he created this. Very nice. Having grew up in the 70s and 80s, this was a real treat
This is just incredibly exciting, to see this layering come together to make that magic!!! That mesmerizing song!! Thank you so very much! And I LOVE that you have the same wrist bands as Morten does on your arm!!!
Heard this song on the radio a week ago, whipped out the keytar and started riffing around until I got it right. I have two take aways from this. Nice interpretation/approximation. The polyrythmical elements of the backing tracks can be hard to learn by ear, but it can work like this (even with the missing parts). Great patch selections! 🙂👍
nice work and thanks for the upload... technology is great these days. it's cheap and generally has a community of users to learn from no matter what platform you decide to use... but what really is the game changer is that once we get a plug-in/soft synth etc. we can use them as many times as our processing power will allow, and from there we can just render a track with fx on it and reuse all over again on other tracks, all in a digital domain. most people would have no idea of the pain endured plumbing an analog 16+ track studio including monitoring and fx racks send/return... the amount of leads alone would set us back more than the total cost of the studio gear used in this vid and can add noise... now we have unlimited audio/midi tracks, seamless audio chains, and we can add video production too... the world is our oyster.
Awesome! The drums sounded great from the very beginning. In fact, everything sounded "tight" and perfectly placed together. The only thing I would nitpick is that the main sound that came in at 1:30, there was either too much reverb, too much sustain or both. If it was just a bit "pluckier", it would have been perfect. Only leaving this comment to provide external feedback, not to criticize. Either way, great job on the cover.
the 80's always had a futuristic sound even now.
