@@gregorygraham3145 sorry to report it's on the pricey side! There was also a GitS game for PSP called Stand Alone Complex. Never played it so cannot offer any report
It is a fantastic game. I love the visuals, music and characters. I am happy that RUclipsrs like Sega Lord X have talked about it. Have you heard of Guardian's Crusade? While not an SRPG, it is a game that imo deserves so much more love.
Ditto, but with VH2. It's my GOAT tactical jrpg and idk where to start because it has pretty much everything to me. Memorable cast of characters, epic medieval-steampunk aesthetic, and intense storyline to name a few. I can talk about VH2 all day and I'll even go as far as choosing this over FFT 🥲
@henriezamora I love VH2s story. It is amazing. I wasn't as much a fan of the visuals or the simultaneous movement (not because of difficulty, but I didn't like intentionally wasting a units turn).
Einhander, One, Silent Bomber, so many good games mentioned. Never knew about Rapid Reload. Will have to check it out. I also remember having fun with lesser known games like Galerians and Trap Gunner. Ps1 and N64 era was the best.
I used to play Einhander all the time with my best friend back in the day. He passed away 15 years ago. I have it on the my vita and play it every now and then to remember him. Cool dude. Sorely missed.
My forgotten PS1 game would be Grind Session. Everyone was playing the Tony Hawk games but I enjoyed this one immensely. Although for the life of me I can’t remember hardly anything about the game.
Einhänder is such a great game! I didn't grow up with a ps1 and discovered Einhänder watching hidden gems videos, the atmosphere of that game is so unique and the music is insanely good, it just gets you on the mood
As someone with a physical ps1 collection of over 500 games, I sure hope sony can make the ps6 fully backwards compatible with all generations. I have all these games too except tron bonne
I played the demo when I was a kid and I was always curious about it, but I just never got to play the full game. I would love to rectify that. Another one on the demo was a Psygnosis game called Lifeforce Tenka. That looked really cool.
I would recommend Pac-Man World 1 be an honourable mention, but no longer is it forgotten thanks to Pac-Man World Re-Pac and clamours for there to be either Pac-Man World 2 & 3 Re-Pac, Pac-Man World 4 or whole new 3D (or 2D or both) Pac-Man platformers altogether that way Bandai-Namco doesn’t have to feel like they’re milking Pac-Man World like they’ve been milking the original around the late 2010s with all these games (2015-2021) which power to those that like it.
I remember playing a demo of Akuji as a kid, then not remembering the name of the game for 20+ years lol thanks for that! Not sure how forgotten it is, but Threads of Fate is one of my absolute favorites and sadly, still a PS1 exclusive, with a Japan-only kind of a sequel (it's more like a spin off I guess)
Gundam Battle Assault 2 is excellent and my Favorite Gundam game. When Gundam Battle Assault 3 came out I was disappointed they moved away from the 2D style and focuses on Seed, it wasn’t as good as number 2.
Here are some PS1 games that were way, way ahead of their time: ruclips.net/video/RGaCX-nwDwY/видео.html
The Ghost in the Shell game for PS1 was excellent!
At0nium is a kickass youtuber!
Its really good
Omfg there’s a game!!!!!! Just binged every movie and tv series and now I’m figuring out there’s more lol thank you.
@@gregorygraham3145 sorry to report it's on the pricey side! There was also a GitS game for PSP called Stand Alone Complex. Never played it so cannot offer any report
Glad you mentioned ONE, Its one of the few games i still recommend to people just discovering the system in 2024. Veru underrated game
Silent Bomber was amazing!
Fun fact, in the UK, Katie Price aka Jordan was on a poster for Silent Bomber.
Vandal Hearts was a great little strategy rpg that I never hear about anymore.
It is a fantastic game. I love the visuals, music and characters. I am happy that RUclipsrs like Sega Lord X have talked about it. Have you heard of Guardian's Crusade? While not an SRPG, it is a game that imo deserves so much more love.
I love that when someone dies there is this extreme shower of blood.

It's important to remember them in whatever little ways we can
My forgotten PS1 game would be Grind Session. Everyone was playing the Tony Hawk games but I enjoyed this one immensely. Although for the life of me I can’t remember hardly anything about the game.
Pharm, old chum, I think you've just unlocked a long vaulted memory
The fact that you mentioned Silent Bomber tells me all I need to know. This was my favorite PS1 game that nobody knew about. You gained a sub!
Many of the PS1 RPGs are forgotten go back play and enjoy them blessed to see and have all from 1980-Now
Guardian's Crusade and Vandal Hearts being talked about less than others saddens me.
remember Thousand arms? That's an Rpg no one talks about nowadays
Einhänder is such a great game! I didn't grow up with a ps1 and discovered Einhänder watching hidden gems videos, the atmosphere of that game is so unique and the music is insanely good, it just gets you on the mood

That’d be nice, but it will never happen. There’s more money to be made by having those games available via a subscription cloud gaming service.
Akuji The Heartless was one of my favorite games as a child. always loved the dark creepy atmosphere
The narrator and the music is so soothing. Keep it up.
Great content of course :D
Subbed! I love channels that has focus on retro stuff of gaming.
come back every Monday and Friday for more!
@@CulturedVultures Of course!
Yeah, this maybe a good replacement for Classic Game Room.
@@kos2919 ok
Been looking forward to this one.
Time Commando. I wouldn't claim it's a good game, but it holds a special place in my heart.
Ps1 was such a wonderful console!
a game i believe has been forgotten is "Over Board", great game, never seen is spoken about
I played the demo when I was a kid and I was always curious about it, but I just never got to play the full game. I would love to rectify that. Another one on the demo was a Psygnosis game called Lifeforce Tenka. That looked really cool.
Great Stuff, as always!
Thank goodness I came across this video. I totally forgot about "Akuji: The Heartless", it was available to play as a demo on Gex 3.
With party and multiplayer type games being so popular now somebody needs to bring back Blast Chamber.
Ninja: Shadow of Darkness, Forgotten action.
When I was a kid, that was one of my favourite games. I would love to play it now and see how it holds up.
I was expecting for "overboard!",
ps1 did had a lot of good games like n64. It will make us to replay those games.
G Darius' title looks like someone just jumbled up the game title "Gradius".
Wow! Youre right!
Here another 2 game: Destrega and Evil Zone.
Destrega a fighter game with magic
Evil Zone a fighter game too. Anime fighter game
I always wanted to try The Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Thank God for emulation.
One looks like a followup game of Apocalypse with Bruce Willis. Also on the PS1 and a legendary game!
People get it mixed up a lot! We will be talking about Apocalypse soon enough haha
Hogs of war is my all time favorite. easy to learn , hard to master. Awesome!!
I do anything for a Mega man Legend legacy collection. Please Capcom! 🙏
A truly underrated game that no one talks about is brigandine A really good tactical RPG with some fantastic music
I wouldn’t call Einhander forgotten. I’ve seen it pop up on Discord groups quite a bit.
that's gotta be a pretty niche audience itself though! most people will reel off a long list off PS1 games before they get to Einhander
City of Lost Children was a very strange movie and the game it inspired was equally strange. Both were quite enjoyable though.
Love Tron Bonne and Mega Man Legends!
If you want weird games that will put a smile on your face, play Incredible Crisis.
Oh don't worry, we've got lots of Incredible Crisis coming up!
One! Wow! This game is so mind-blowing!
Gotta add Treasure of the Deep to this list. Awesome underwater shooter
Akuji the Heartless, my first ever PS1 game
Cool list !
I would say that Skullmonkeys has been forgotten. Almost no chance it will come back (although The Neverhood did get a spiritual successor).
You want some beans?
einhänder and silent bomber are peak
Can't believe that Apocalypse starting Bruce Willis isn't on this list. Much more superior to One.
Honestly, I REALLY do not think that The Misadventures Of Tron Bonne counts as "forgotten". But yes, it is a great game.
wtf, is that dude looks like emerald weapon from ff7 9:17
You want more forgotten PS1 games? Explore Japan-only games. More like "never known to the rest of the world" games if you ask me
Dude, this is a western centric channel. If you want Japanese only games there's several channels who dedicated their content for that.
Have you ever covered TRAP GUNNER for PS1?
It's like a Tactical BomerMan, with Split screen Versus mode
it's in an upcoming video!
@@CulturedVultures !!!!!
Gundam Battle Assault 2 is excellent and my Favorite Gundam game. When Gundam Battle Assault 3 came out I was disappointed they moved away from the 2D style and focuses on Seed, it wasn’t as good as number 2.
good list!!!!
ODT on ps1, literally nobody ever talks about it 🤷
Feel like people don't talk enough about Critical depth very underated game
Does anybody else remember Star Gladiator? I have fond memories of it but I never see it mentioned.
Pretty sure it's Trum Bone like the musical instrument.
you had me at Gundam Battle Assault 2 >>> i refuse to accept Gundam Battle Assault 3 feat Gundam Seed >>> gimme a real GBA3
also technomage in ps1 is an underrated game
I was able to play Tron Bonne on the ps1 sadly I wasn't able to finish it I got stuck in a level
Don't even have the time for the well remembered ps1 gems 😂
FIFA 98 calls to you
Silent Bomber is a great action game. I play it at the moment on my Odin but man this game gets hard (or maybe I'm just bad)
It’s true, games back then were a lot harder! But what a sense of accomplishment when you finally beat them!
Sadly Forgotten PS2 Games: ruclips.net/video/ZX3o778rtCY/видео.html
PlayStation1 greatest games and era i stop collecting at 750+ games
What's controversial about Akuji the Heartless?
Brahma Force: Assault on Beltlogger 9
Just based on my knowledge of game prices, I’m not expecting to see any RPGs here.
Crash Bandicoot was epic for its time. The new N’sane Trilogy somehow does not cut it
ALUNDRA for ps1
Psst
Pssst
