But while calculating LTCG why indexation benefit withdrawn immediately on 23rd july 2024 itself .A flat bought for 10 Lakhs in 2001 , is not same in 2024 due to cost of inflation index. So indexation should be there for residential housing plots and flats. Will some one accept the same salary they got in 2001,saying inflation not there.This is what they have done
