Woww. Seedling look so amazing ❤ looking forward to seeing them fill up so nicely
Thanks so much Mina🫶🏾🌿🌸
Your yard looks amazing. I had to subscribe. I just put in my transplants yesterday. I'm zone 7A and I ran out of time to grow my fall veggies from seed. Hopefully I can be more prepared next year and get some things growing instead of buying but I was supporting my local nursery so it wasn't all bad lol.
Thanks for subbing! Yes I get it girl, starting your own seedlings is very time consuming. It’s wonderful when you can support your local community, save yourself time and still grow a beautiful garden 🌿☺️ wishing you a wonderful season 🙌🏾🌸
I subscribed to you ❤
I plant using the square foot gardening method but I'll put chives or scallions in between the spaces of most things.
I was gonna order one off Amazon but I changed my mind, how do you like? Is it pretty easy to use?
@@Tonetrasgarden oh, I don't use that little tool thing. I divide my garden bed up using twine and staples and just eyeball the spacing.
@@justq1891 Oooo that’s interesting!! I like that idea thanks for sharing 🙌🏾
Looks Great I Love collards mustard greens I eat greens every other week
It's always a good feeling planting your own starts,it costs so much at the garden center. Thanks for sharing.
I went to the hardware Store and saw those prices! A indoor grow space is worth every penny😅!!
Thank you🌿🌸!!🤗
A video I’ve been wanting for a long time. Someone planning out their garden as they’re planting and tightly spacing. I’ve been afraid to plant this tightly and now you’ve shown me how. I am in zone 9b in Tampa. My veggie beds were mostly destroyed from Hurricane Milton. So, I need to get some of the veggies in the ground asap. Just have to pay for home and fence repairs first. I hope the garden beds will be forgiving this year.
@@lindagonzalez9774 I was hoping someone would find this helpful. I was looking for a video like this myself but couldn’t find one anywhere! Thank you for commenting! I am so sorry for the disaster in Florida😢I hope there wasn’t to much damage and you can get back to gardening soon🫶🏾🌸🌿
Your transplants look amazing
@@StephsHealthMatters thank you!!! 🌸🌿 they are starting to a just after transplanting! Can’t wait to do a little garden tour or raised bed update🙌🏾☺️
Your plants look so healthy and you still have so much more to plant. I’m in zone 8b in S.C. I’m planting this evening after work and I’m excited to do so. 🙂
I'm zone 8b in SC too!!!!
@@StephsHealthMatters Hi neighbor

I have to start growing seedlings. I've been direct sows. Time to elevate
@@wellnesswithfrugalmama I will direct sow a garden bed once the temperature drop👍🏾 but yes definitely try growing your own indoors it’s definitely a game changer!☺️happy growing🌸🌿!!
@Tonetrasgarden thank you for the encouragement! I'm excited to grow as a gardener
@@wellnesswithfrugalmama absolutely!🫶🏾
Tonetra, you inspired me to grow my first turnips!!! Im so excited
Awwww that’s awesome😄😄!! Happy growing and good luck🌿☺️
The video quality though ✨
My seedlings are struggling so I went and bought some cabbage and broccoli and put them in today too. I still have Kale and Swiss chard from last year. It’s supposed to get cooler this week (finally 😆) so hopefully I’ll get to drop some seeds for onions and salad greens.
Also, I can’t believe you grew those yourself! 😮 I thought they were from the store when I saw the thumbnail. Those seedlings look amazing! How do you get them so big and healthy?
Thanks Girl!! You gotta do what you gotta do! I was gonna buy some but my local hardware stores and nursery didn’t have any 😭 you still have kale and chard from last year you go girl!!
🙌🏾 hopefully it will cool down here I planted them and they are struggling a bit it was 94 today!😭 and I didn’t do anything special but fertilize them a couple times! Happy growing🌿🌿🌿🤗
I plant using the space recommended on the seed pack. They seem to grow larger that way. I do plant radish’s and chives and basil as companions 😊
How much longer at 90 degrees 😅
That’s great! I always just eyeball my spacing 😂 I just make my work harder 😆! Yes love companion planting🙌🏾 we have another week till we hit 88 degrees I can’t wait!
Let's go!🎉🎉🎉
Yassss!!! I’m so excited to bring you along🙌🏾🌿☺️
Sweeeeeet ✊🏾😎🍊🌶🫑🍅🫛🥬
Thanks !!!
I love your choice. My question is: are you not planting to close. From my research and learning. They need room for growth and disease prevents from not being able to breathe? Other than, I’m going to purchase them. This is my first time growing them.
They do get pretty big I could possibly have an issue, but I don’t think I will during the cooler season. I just wanted to experiment packing the plants them closer together so I use all my growing space and don’t have to mulch!
@Tonetrasgarden I love that you are packing them in! That's the way things grow in natural habitats
@@StephsHealthMatters yes this is what I was going for a natural habitat☺️🌸🌿 thanks!

Thanks so much!!☺️🙌🏾🙌🏾🌿
Do you get a lot of pest when using the beds asking for myself as I’m watching cause I have really big issues with possums and caterpillars oh and snails
I had a bad issue with pill bugs and ear wigs! I put down some sluggo plus and it fixed the issue!
I haven’t had a problem with any other pest in the garden only cats sleeping in my garden beds ☺️🌿🐱

Houston Tx 9b, how are you controlling the caterpillars that eats the leaves, they're destroying my peppers
@@vickiel3764 Hi Vickie I haven’t had a problem with caterpillars yet, but I did have a pill bug problem that I had to use sluggo plus for! If caterpillars start to come I will be checking the leaves everyday!
