I'm in Houston, and I got it. It is bad, very very bad. And, I got it from a restaurant. I think it was Chipotle's. So, I am not going there anymore. I am so badly sick. My wife has taken two weeks off from work already. We can barely get around. I hope no one else gets it. It is bad, bad, bad.

I’m in Oregon, a teacher, and this stomach bug is all over the school. One kid threw up right behind me on Friday while another threw up in the bathroom at around the same time. Then I ended up sick this weekend. It’s all over the place, for sure.
Certain vitamins and supplements if taken proactively before getting sick can reduce the severity and duration of the sickness. Vitamin D3, vitamin C, MK7, magnesium, zinc, and NAC. Dr. Peter Osbourne has a RUclips channel.
This one time at band camp, we were all standing performing a song when all of a sudden one of the girls puked all over the place, and we were on like these tiered bleacher sort of things, because we were all singing a production, and so there was barf all over the performance platform. And we all had to leave the room in the middle of our song because it stank real bad and they had to clean it up.

I immediately hopped onto another bus that by chance happened to be there and going my direction. When I saw the pregnant chick follow me onto the new bus, I hopped off that bus. There is no way for me to be sure that she wasn't done throwing up. Pregnant women should carry barf bags.

Wipe down EVERYTHING with Clorox wipes. I caught it at a party, but literally wiped down everything I touched or even looked at while I was sick, and no one else in my house caught it.

My parent got a bad case of stomach/intestinal flu. It hung on. Finally, their dr had them use Culturelle to reintroduce the good bacteria into their system. Worked like a charm.

Unfortunately the stomach flu is way more contagious than that. When I was around 9 or 10 I went to my Grandparents house for 30 seconds to get a loaf of bread when my Grandpa had it, washed my hands and all that, and still got it. But I also got it all the time when I was little, to be fair.
Also don't have kids…. 🤣 we got this last weekend. I clean a preschool ( I wear gloves and wash my hands) but my toddler puts everything in her mouth. She got sick then got me sick. It was awful, but it is what it is.

I’m in Idaho and just about every kid in my son’s class got it and brought it home. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t gotten it yet
I used to get it multiple times each winter growing up. I think my brother is the only kid I knew who never got it, but he has a crazy strong immune system naturally. The only time I’ve ever seen him sick was back when we both got Covid in ‘21.
I'm in Austn and my granddaughter's entire class had it too. And she brought it home to 1 year old brother and dad. My daughter has an iron immune system.

So what are they all exposed to that has physical affects? If marine life were all having symptoms, would you assume that there was something wrong with each and every creature, or would you stop and think that there's something wrong in their common environment? Think. Have your studied germ-theory? Have you studied Terrain theory? Which of those two is reality? Do you know? Why haven't you studied? Are you going to study? What is it that everyone is exposed to? Think. Do frequencies have very real effects on people? Think.
Stomach flu was by far the most painful for me, it hurt more than recovery from 2 bone surgeries without any pain meds.

My roommate had it a few years ago. I seriously thought he was gonna die. Coming home from work on delivery, literally screaming in the bathroom. He frequently overexaggerates about things, but man it was terrifying. I got real lucky not catching it. But once I figured out what it might be, I cleaned everything he touched or used with bleach. First and foremost, the toilet.

I haven't thrown up even one time since 4th grade and I'm 26 now. I remember it feeling like the worst thing ever. The taste and feeling is torture. I hope it never happens again. I'm very careful about expiration dates on food and what not.

I had this last month, it was horrible. My stomach hurt constantly. Then I found out our city water treatment plant got shut down because of environmental issues. 🤔

We have this now. My toddler picked this up from daycare. Two days later i caught it. My symptoms are a bit different. No nausea, vomiting, fever or diarrhea for me because it completly shut off my appetite. This stuff is painful!!! I went to the ER because it felt like every single organ was inflammed. Ibupropen (800mg) wasn't enough for the pain. We must have the new and improved version because seven days in, we are still stuck in the bed.

I had this for the first time in my life in November. Absolutely horrendous! It was worse than having COVID.
People need to have better hygiene. Nothing was learned from pandemic.
2022 I had the WORST stomach virus of my life. It must have been this strain. I've had the stomach flu for 12- 24 hours before. This flu lasted no less than 4 days! I thought it was my gall bladder. I though I was going to need surgery. After 4 days of vomiting and severe diarrhea, I went to the EM and I was told it was the flu. I finally started feeling better after a week. This virus is no joke.
I'm on day 7 with stomach cramps and diarrhea. I've been super scared about needing surgery so I know exactly how you felt! It came on super fast so and it's lasted this long which is shocking.

I had this once about 15 years ago. Sick as a dog for about a day and a half. My dad then got it right after me. He ate too soon and still had symptoms. Was awful. It’s so contagious in part because you are still contagious for about a week or two even after the worst part passes.
Man. I used to get this at least once, usually three times every single winter when I was growing up. It freaking sucks!
I caught norovirus once, before I had ever heard of it. It caught me off guard. Thank God my toilet & tub were right next to each other.
I had managed to avoid it for a month, while all my friends were going to ER thinking they had food poisoning. Finally got it when my brother's friend dropped him off at my house to care for him - after he spent the night in ER because he thought he had food poisoning. I wish I could of said no, because when he got better, I got sick, with no one to care for me. Just me sleeping on my bathroom floor with my pillow & a cup of ice for 2 days til I felt it was safe to crawl back into bed. It was horrible.

I constantly see folks touching grocery cart and door handles, gas station pumps, menus, etc, etc, etc...without using a sanitizing hand wipe on these items, which is so easy to do!!
Also, wash hands immediately upon returning home and frequently throughout the day if out doing errands. We have not had a yummy bug in many years due to these health habits:)
Believe it or not, the notion of wiping down your cart handle has only been a thing in the past several years. People shopped for decades without needing to wipe down their cart handles.

If you're out and you use a rest room put a mask on before you go in . I got it one time I walked in and some one was puking in the stall and that was it . The next day I had it.
Mask don’t work like you assume. Doctors use them mainly for surgery so they don’t have spit or hair getting into the wound. Doctors also are trained thoroughly to not touch anything before putting a brand new disposable mask on because we all know that you can’t clean a mask in the washer and have it actually be sterile. Do you know how much dirt grime and bacteria your pillow case alone holds? But having disposable masks is toxic for environment and for our own health, not just acne but breathing problems and who can hear you?😂 all I see is people readjusting their masks! Reusing masks is a no no!

Wash hands constantly and always carry hand sanitizer (70% is best) with you wherever you go. It's been a lifesaver when me and my husband go out and can't find a bathroom. Also, peppermint gum and ginger ale have always helped me with stomach aches.

The n/v/d, and horrible body aches, lasted for 6 days, where my family’s symptoms had lasted about 3. That included my 10 mo. old grandson.
From a nurse perspective, I should’ve been in the hospital for fluids, but I wouldn’t go, because I didn’t have the strength to shower first… yeah, I’m a typical nurse with too much pride. To be fair, I was sick, to the point, that I just wanted to be left alone. Communication was too exhausting.
This is how bad this virus has the potential to be!! Please make every effort to avoid catching, or spreading it.
I’m also immunocompromised, susceptible to everything, and slow to fight it off.

Ginger, cumin, oregano, turmeric with a dash of pepper, and peppermint are all good for the stomach too! I drink ginger and cumin tea in the morning! And take an odorless garlic supplement. Zinc & adeqaute vitamin c keeps the immune system up, and be sure not to overdo the zinc because it depletes your copper. So be sure to eat copper rich foods while taking zinc, or take about 2g of copper per 25mg of zinc.

Actual ventilation in public restrooms would help. Whenever the swine flu was going around, a while back, was that 2008 or something?, I would walk into the restroom at the grocery store where I worked, and the instant that I smelled vomit or diarrhea, I would catch the swine flu again. I caught the swine flu repeatedly over and over for months, during the entire football season, every time large groups of people traveled around to go to football games in our town. If the bathroom had simply been ventilated, then I would not have breathed in the virus particles every time I went in there. It needs to completely ventilate all of the air, strongly, not just with a weak, flimsy little fan that just barely does anything, but a STRONG fan that moves a LOT of air.

I wrote that the news is reporting the zombie virus as a “stomach bug” or common flu. And recently there’s been news of a possible “zombie outbreak” and now this.
