Thank you, I'd turned broadcast HR off last year. I had forgotten about it and noone else added that advice to turn it back on.. you've saved me a lot of headache! Many thanks 😊
Hi Marcel, it will work with all Garmin and other smart watches as long as they have Heart rate sensor and the widget (that you can download free from Garmin, if it does not show on your watch). Just make sure Bluetooth on Wahoo and Garmin is on. Hope that's helps, Thank you so much for your Subscribe. Cheers 😊
Hi Peter, I believe 235 does has Heart rate sensor. So if you follow the steps it should connect to your wahoo or any other cycling head unit. Given the sensor is is working properly. Thanks for watching.
hello sir! do i need to do that everytime that i will ride, or once i had done that it will always automatcally pair with my wahoo? i have a fenix 5 s and use a wahoo like yopurs...
Yes you only need to do this pairing once. Unless you update the app version it will automatically connect to your bike's head unit. Thanks for watching.
Hi Marcin, basically your watch needs to have optical heart rate sensor, 3 green lights that point at the wrist, a heart rate widget, or app and blue tooth turned on. If any of these are absent it wont connect with Wahoo or any other cycling head unit. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Thank you! Finally paired my forerunner 935 to wahoo elemnt v1. I’ve been riding for so long without knowing how to connect! This was very useful;)

Thanks, is this also possible with an older watch? e.g. forerunner 235?
In the manual is only an example written for Garmin devices.

Was exactly looking for this. Does this also work with a Garmin Venu2+ which has the Broadcast in Activity option?
As long as your watch has Heart rate widget and bluetooth is enable it should broadcast it to your head unit. Thanks for watching.
Can you also do it with forerunner 55
Yes you can:
Menu: Wrist heart rate: 3 option down is broadcast heart rate. Hope that helps, thanks foe watching, cheers.
