Keith Whitley - The Legend And The Man (Demo)

- Rare demo that was also recorded by Whitley's brother Dwight. If we can learn something from this song, it's that things aren't always what they seem in people's lives. Sure your friend or fellow church member may appear to be doing well or be successful, but there's usually something hidden behind the scenes. Be slow to judge, but quick to hear.
Dying at only 34 years old, all we can do is wonder what body of work this man would have produced -- the masterpieces we'll never hear. A magical voice silenced way too soon.
Wow!!! Its like he is talking about himself!
He was a great singer and everthing he sang had so much feeling I believe he singing with the angels,🙏🙏💞🌹🌹🌹
What a beautiful singer and man.
Keith Whitley if you only knew just how much you was loved,,💙💙
Should have definitely been remastered and he definitely should have released it. Once again a shame that he didn't release it. Probably would have been another number one.
Very nice and amazing
He never knew that he was a great legend himself but he will always be a legend 💙 to his friends and his fans 💙 ❤ 👏
A Real Country Legend he lived the songs he sang & if he wasnt singing songs he wrote about his life he sang songs written by others that fit his life.If Keith only knew how good he was & the legend he would become. He never thought he was as good as people told him he was. 😔
This was originally a Conway Twitty song, but I think even Conway would have agreed, this song was written for Keith.
He actually wrote it about his good friend, George Jones
Possibly around the time of George and Tammy’s divorce?
You can hear the hurt in his voice on so many of his songs. This one is special to me for many reasons. Thanks for posting
Yes his voice is haunting
The greatest country singer of all time!

Nejraději poslouchám písně Keitha Whitley, jeho zpěv je pro mě nejlepší ze všech, které znám ❤
Oh dear. This hurts. ❤
Yes Keith was a legend an one like Hank he had so much to sing about i was so sad that he left this world like Hank did but the singers that came after them like Tracey Lawrence sang and did such a great job of there music that they would have been proud them
Keith Whitley was the greatest country music singer there ever was or ever will be. George Jones would be the second best and then Vern Gosdin, Randy Travis, and Merle Haggard would close out the top 5 greatest of all time.
To bad that this wonderful story of the greatest singer was made into a movie 🎬 it would be a legend also
So Sad.
Kieth whitiey has wrote the Bible on country music
