Lol....phantom is enjoying every second of that test ride because he already knows what's coming from the boss. You can almost read the smirk on his face....lol
Aiden doesn’t understand how lucky he is. I remember growing up just watching my dad and uncle working on stuff but I never had the opportunity like you’re giving him. I’m genuinely jealous. You’re doing an amazing job raising those kids! Keep it up!!!!!!!
i love hearing the older generation talk about "The way we used to do it was..." like i was just doing that last week, it still hasnt changed my guy! love the content guys!
For all of your bad ass passes, cars and wins; to me these are the best vids you have by a long way. You are truly living life with your family and doing what you all love to do. This is awesome
Bravo guys by far one of the funniest in awhile, the old dogs teaching them youngin snipper whipper snappers is always comedy gold. And the test drive absolutely hilarious 😂 good job guys.
Shawn I had a blue single cab on chrome 20s first truck it was a hot truck around Sayre in your day. Fun build dude. I remember you guys dropping the trucks back then. Bringing back good memories. . Ty
Damn I love those wheels on Aiden's truck. Shawn you do an awesome job teaching those boys. The videos with the boys working and arguing are the best 🤣. Keep up the great content Phantom
As someone who once had an ac compressor dropped on my foot, luckily wearing steel toe boots at the time, I always get heebie jeebies watching Sean and his son wrenching with just flip flops on.
Awesome to see those boys out there learning. Hands on/on the job training is the best way to learn. Keep up the great work boys, and as always Nova to the front my friends!!!!
Does Dalton have a vehicle? If so, can we get a fund going for him to mod his vehicle too? Nothing is worse then having a friend that gets everything and you don't. No hate towards shawn or Aiden, he probably deserves everything he gets and its the benefit of having Shawn as your father . They both seem like some cool kids and remind me of me and my buddies back in the day. Shit they could probably do well with their own channel. Young Morons Garage or something like that
Eye wear and closed toed shoes would be nice. LOL . Great look, can't be to low. Great to see grandpa over seeing the operation. Richard re-living all of Shawn's lowering cars growing up.
glad your teaching them and giving pointers alot of guy and or dads wont do it they just say give it to me ill do it so love the content keep up the good work
I love that they are teaching the boys how to work on stuff, and letting them figure stuff out, the same way the rest of us had to. With that being said, I'm glad it wasn't a c notch, because Shawn even said he had never done one. You never cut the frame first, you install the c notch, weld everything you can, then cut out the frame in the middle. That keeps the format right. All it takes is to watch 3 episodes of Texas metal, and you see how it is done. Oh, I love the wheels on Aidens truck, they are sick looking
Man i remember Shawn when he first started racing the OG.Thunder Valley would have get together and loud music lowriders etc. That guy and his crew has came along ways.Much Respect to him he shows that anyone that wants it bad enough and can get it.With hard work. His boy should be proud of his Dad for sure True Hero in my book.Good Luck this year.
I know they are good kids but they really have no damn clue how much knowledge they are learning from the both of you. Lucky to even have someone show them the way. Better than a few busted fingers and scar's. Keep up the good work
I put a McGaughys lowering kit on my Silverado about 8 years ago. It’s held up great over the years. I like it better than the bell tech ones I’ve used.
Good on shawn for helping to teach his son alot of people may see it as lucky Aiden and it is but its also he's learning alot. Alot of kids there age couldn't do what they do. Can't wait to see more of the stooges there hella entertaing lol
You guys lower yours and we raised ours lol. I was a baby when my mom and dad built his first truck from the ground up. Oh man it was beautiful. Sounded amazing too. I actually have pictures of my brother and I chilling in the back of dads truck out in the woods at a local mud hole that everyone with big trucks went too.
I found myself laughing at your struggles with the boys and tools and doing stuff the hard way. Reminded me of me and my dad and also my own boys. Thanks for great content guys.
Bro, I have a 21 year old son and have had a ton of fun laughing while teaching him. He is a great tig welder and builds $ 100-$500,000 boats at cape fear catamarans now. Great vids.
Janky AZZ! LOL! been there done that. Lowering blocks in the rear and dropped the torsion bars on my buddies Isuzu Truck in Highschool 1990-ish. Never did the heated springs thing!! Glad to see you’re teaching the kids the right way to do things instead of letting them Go It alone like we did!! I do the same with my 3.
I miss having a lowered truck. Last one was a static (7" front/8" rear) dropped '99 Dakota sport on 22's. It sadly got killed when a county cop rear ended me and bent the hell out of the frame.
I laughed pretty much the entire video. Aiden is one lucky guy! After watching this I understand the bullshit my boyfriend at the time went through when he lowered my 93 GMC Jimmy. I wanted a 93 Typhoon, but I couldn't find one close so I bought a new 93 GMC Jimmy and lowered that bitch in hopes it would fill the void. It never looked as badass as a Typhoon, but I loved it nonetheless. #moronnation #187customs #murdernova #mrsmurdernovasworktruck #boywatchyourmouth #yadonegoofed
Have you guys tried the chevy fender mod? I've had to do that on a few of those gen trucks. Gives about 1.5" more inner tire clearance. Thanks for the great video. 👍
New to the channle live it already, made me laugh, my nephew was working on his car, and called the called a 3/4 a number 34, lol, anyway we all learn just like me , im a lead marine tech, good show!!
I agree; I knew cell phones would be abused. They’re great in some instances; but people feel like they need to check it every 5 seconds. How did they live without their fingers glued to them before they came out??
Hell yes. I love low trucks I had a 2000 Dakota. Procharged. 4.7.. the mini hemi...slammed. 7in the front 8in in the rear. Notched frame. Axle was Inside the bed
when are you guys going to do an interview. we love what you guys do but we want to know more about you guys. how did you guys meet? how was 187 customs born? stuff like that
Your O'Reilly comment is funny to me. I quit using them years ago. I bought a battery from Checkers before they were bought out by O Reilly and spent the extra on longer replacement battery. My car ate 1 about every 12-18months. So when battery was dead went into O'Reilly with receipt and everything expecting new free or for next to nothing battery. Only to be told they quit honoring checker warranty less than a month before I went in. I don't think I have ever been back.
Just got my first welder, I’m slowly learning, just had to go buy welding helmet an gloves, welding is a art! I can’t wait to start building stuff with it
I remember I would cut bump stops out 4 inch blocks and mono leaf back and front I would heat spring up till glowing and release the jack front springs would compact when I was in my teens
Shawn is nervous of using a coil spring compressor but heated front coils just like I always did and never said $hit about blowing up a shock with the torch! That $hit still haunts me!!! I blew a few up back in my day! We used hunks of 4x4 under the frame to level out the ride heights while the spring cooled 🤦♂️
yea that's the Dumb Way to Lower .... Cutting a round off of the spring keeps the Spring strong unlike heating weakens the metal wind up with unpredictable ride and height.
Coil spring compressors are like seating the beads on tires... Sketchy. I put lift shackles on a nnbs Z71 and had to cut slits in the pinch welds under the bed and bend them 90° to get the shackle bolts out. Just pulling the bed ahead of time was the smart move.
Find center of axle at the lowest point"as far low as it will go" install c-notch and weld all you can then cut middle of notch out and everything will stay in place. No sage no warp or twist in the frame. But this has only been my experience I'm not sayn it's worked for everyone but it has for me several times.. just my 2 cents, not that it counts or even right but it's always worked for me.
Looking good y'all.. Glad to see Aiden is starting to catch on. I'm almost certain that he's gonna be a real asset around the shop.. Hey Shawn, good luck this year on the NPK tour.. Phantom, the you're doing an awesome job behind the camera. Keep the content coming. Was wondering if and when y'all are going to do the Sick Week thing or possibly even Drag Week or if you're interested in possibly doing a custom build for and competing at The Midwest Wheelie Nationals which is held at Byron International Speedway in Byron,IL??? Yes it's different and a little out of your wheelhouse, but It could definitely be a lot of fun as well..
I know exactly what you mean with the coil over deal. Truck looks great. Laugh so hard on the first test run like “she’s going to be mad” been there done that 😂
I have an 09 with a 5/7 drop & I had to get 275 on my 24s. I also learned my lesson with the rubbing because I rubbed through the fender liner and water got in my fuse box & almost ruined my whole truck.
What did you have before this lowering kit? What parts were used for the first drop before this one? I have a few NNBS Sierras I want to lower with my boys. We have 2” drop shackles only.
Best part of the video was Phantom giggling in the background throughout.
Nothing like 3 generations together
Lol....phantom is enjoying every second of that test ride because he already knows what's coming from the boss. You can almost read the smirk on his face....lol
Aiden doesn’t understand how lucky he is. I remember growing up just watching my dad and uncle working on stuff but I never had the opportunity like you’re giving him. I’m genuinely jealous. You’re doing an amazing job raising those kids! Keep it up!!!!!!!
Man I'm glad you left in the parts bickering with the kids. Reminds me of my grandfather and me in his shop as a kid.
Its really nice to see 3 generations working on something together, you don't see that too much any more.
i love hearing the older generation talk about "The way we used to do it was..." like i was just doing that last week, it still hasnt changed my guy! love the content guys!
Has anyone else noticed that Shawn’s favorite things outside of family and racing is the word DEAL and wearing flip flops and shorts ….. gotta love it
"Dill" 😂😂
Homie with the beard is Aiden's phantom for life. Love the respect you guys have for your lifetime friends.
"Mom did too. You better stop that." Right on. You're a good man, teaching that boy right.
Truck looks good guys. Like that Shawn and phantom help these boys figure this stuff out that's what it's all about brother👍🤘
For all of your bad ass passes, cars and wins; to me these are the best vids you have by a long way. You are truly living life with your family and doing what you all love to do. This is awesome
I feel like this truck will be getting a lot more upgrades in the future!!!! It’s looking awesome!!!!
These videos are gonna be gold.in about 10 yrs for you guys
Bravo guys by far one of the funniest in awhile, the old dogs teaching them youngin snipper whipper snappers is always comedy gold. And the test drive absolutely hilarious 😂 good job guys.
Shawn I had a blue single cab on chrome 20s first truck it was a hot truck around Sayre in your day. Fun build dude. I remember you guys dropping the trucks back then. Bringing back good memories. . Ty
The look on your faces when you drive out and the tyres are rubbing said it all….. we’re in trouble 🤣 👍
Maaan, you'd have a coronary around here...
Yea, I hope it never happens but I agree; could take preventive health issues in the future!! That would be smart.
The funniest back half of an episode ever.. the expressions on your faces during the test drive along with the noises was P R I C E L E S S
Patience is the key, dealing with kids lol, I luv Phantoms laugh
Awesome to see those boys out there learning. Hands on/on the job training is the best way to learn. Keep up the great work boys, and as always Nova to the front my friends!!!!
Gotta love the father /son dynamic between shawn and aden.
Does Dalton have a vehicle? If so, can we get a fund going for him to mod his vehicle too? Nothing is worse then having a friend that gets everything and you don't. Dalton has a race car that he built with his father
Shawn would help Dalton too the kid does bust his ass working for em and is his son's bestfriend Dalton and Aiden are good fuckin kids for sure
@robbie And if u go back a cpl videos they let Dalton drive Aidens chevelle in the cruise to a car show
He has a sliver 05/06 single cab with a cam. It was on there Tik Tok.
Dalton has a nice truck
Eye wear and closed toed shoes would be nice. LOL . Great look, can't be to low. Great to see grandpa over seeing the operation. Richard re-living all of Shawn's lowering cars growing up.
glad your teaching them and giving pointers alot of guy and or dads wont do it they just say give it to me ill do it so love the content keep up the good work
Love the “don’t blow on me son” quote. Great movie.
Love murder novas teaching habits with Aden. Wish I was able to work with my dad like that. Love Aden's truck.
I love yours shows guys ,am a big fan off murder nova 187
I love that they are teaching the boys how to work on stuff, and letting them figure stuff out, the same way the rest of us had to. I think it’s time to get Aiden his own tool box. lol
it would be empty in 48 hours and Shawn will have confiscated all the tools left around the shop.. lol.
@@sirmonkey1985 🤣

Guys that shop need to cleaned and organized love the content and the boss of 187 laying the law.
I know they are good kids but they really have no damn clue how much knowledge they are learning from the both of you. Lucky to even have someone show them the way. Better than a few busted fingers and scar's. Keep up the good work
That kid is pretty lucky! Love what y’all are doing! Keep up the good work
You two Jokers crack me up! Much needed laughs, Thank's.

Aiden's truck looks really good especially with those wheels n tints really makes that white pop n look first class! Keep Killin' It guys
I put a McGaughys lowering kit on my Silverado about 8 years ago. It’s held up great over the years. I like it better than the bell tech ones I’ve used.

Always a good laugh watching you guys lol. Thanks for the upload
Shawn's got some trust in those boys that they tightened all the bolts back down.. especially as much as the argue back and fourth.... 😆
you guys are stupid funny. You cant write this material.....loving it. Wait till you visit this in 10 years. Awesome bonding with the boys.
Good on shawn for helping to teach his son alot of people may see it as lucky Aiden and it is but its also he's learning alot. Alot of kids there age couldn't do what they do. Can't wait to see more of the stooges there hella entertaing lol
Love the Django references! One of the best movies ever! And Aiden is pissed about mom driving the truck for sure! It looks like it rides like a rock!
Never too low. Just needs bags. Truck looks so good Aiden.
I found myself laughing at your struggles with the boys and tools and doing stuff the hard way. Reminded me of me and my dad and also my own boys. Thanks for great content guys.
My 09 is 8" over stock and I love it. Never lowered a truck but it does look good
Bro, I have a 21 year old son and have had a ton of fun laughing while teaching him. He is a great tig welder and builds $ 100-$500,000 boats at cape fear catamarans now. Great vids.

I agree; I knew cell phones would be abused. They’re great in some instances; but people feel like they need to check it every 5 seconds. How did they live without their fingers glued to them before they came out??
You always put fire music in the time lapse
Love the banter between the young lads makes me laugh so much
Hey guys how cool is that showing them boys how to do the damn thing that's awesome as always keep up the great work guys let's go
Hell yes. I love low trucks
I had a 2000 Dakota. Procharged. 4.7.. the mini hemi...slammed. 7in the front 8in in the rear. Notched frame. Axle was Inside the bed
Fun for all! Especially when Aiden is sad because Dad gets to drive the truck first.
I'm laughed all the way through this. I'm so glad it's not just me with my sons!!
when are you guys going to do an interview. we love what you guys do but we want to know more about you guys. how did you guys meet? how was 187 customs born? stuff like that
Awww… those were the days of ghetto built hydraulics home kits… thankfully the boys are doing it safely 🤘😎🤙
Looks great
As long as it’s not squatting in the back ! It’s on the money !
About to do a 3/5 drop on my 06' crew cab Sierra , just got some wheels for it so can't wait to get UT done. Dropped single cabs are nice though

That sure look of panic own Shawns face when the tire rubbed was awesome. Lol
Love the wheel design on those trucks
Just got my first welder, I’m slowly learning, just had to go buy welding helmet an gloves, welding is a art! I can’t wait to start building stuff with it
Phantom how do you film that without falling out on the floor laughing 😂. Tub that dude and put 36’s on it.
I laughed so hard about the rubbing tires on the front and Aaron going to be pissed that part was hilarious
I remember I would cut bump stops out
4 inch blocks and mono leaf back and front I would heat spring up till glowing and release the jack front springs would compact when I was in my teens

@@Xxjoker21xX hey when you don't have 2 nickles to rub together a torch works perfectly especially when you block the frame height where you want it.
Good content guys keep it up!
That was the first time I was straight up laughing with you guys... The shit rubbing and how pissed the wife was going to be was killing me.
Coil spring compressors are like seating the beads on tires... Sketchy. I put lift shackles on a nnbs Z71 and had to cut slits in the pinch welds under the bed and bend them 90° to get the shackle bolts out. Just pulling the bed ahead of time was the smart move.
“Erin’s gonna be pissed…. Yeah she is….” And they both laugh knowing what’s coming…. It’s all you can do when you realize your gonna trigger the wife!
Trial and error. Always shoot for the stars. Hard work always pays in the end.

Love the film references in all these vids, must have similar film tastes as I always get the refs 😂😂
I just did my 2015 Silverado with a belltech kit. Did 5” in the back with a flip kit no notch and 4” in the front. Looks killer
Looking good y'all.. Glad to see Aiden is starting to catch on. I'm almost certain that he's gonna be a real asset around the shop.. Hey Shawn, good luck this year on the NPK tour.. Phantom reminds me of my bestfriend that passed a couple years ago. I'd love to meet him I hope they come to indy next yr for no prep
Lmao 🤣 get me a 3/4”s socket not a 3 quarter and a Extension as long as my body. I love when you teach the kids hotrodding.
Your son has a good friend... It'd be cool if they stay that way over time.
I know exactly what you mean with the coil over deal. Truck looks great. Laugh so hard on the first test run like “she’s going to be mad” been there done that 😂
there's a lot of oklahoma up under that bed! great job boys.
I have an 09 with a 5/7 drop & I had to get 275 on my 24s. I also learned my lesson with the rubbing because I rubbed through the fender liner and water got in my fuse box & almost ruined my whole truck.
What you looking at?? BOY!! I‼ 🤣🤣😂😂 I'm just looking that direction. Love the videos #187customs
Awesome fixin to lower mine in a few weeks. Sweet ride
What did you have before this lowering kit? What parts were used for the first drop before this one? I have a few NNBS Sierras I want to lower with my boys. We have 2” drop shackles only.
Merry Christmas lil nukkas. That movie is so damn funny
🤣 hilarious vid! Everyone always remembers their first lowered truck
How's the ride quality and can it still haul a decent load being that low.
When he used a 9 ft extension on that I lost it
That extension was huge!!!!
Hey guys channel is great, can you give me some information on the wheel and tire combination on the man van, sizes back space ect, thanks
“Merry crihmuh lulnigga”🤣🤣💯
