Maybe they'll do both. In the Transformers Collector's Club and Japan's continuation manga the integrated Primus in the G1 cartoon by having it so that the Quintessons found Primus while he lay dormant and used him to create the Transformers. In particular the JP version, made Vector Sigma Primus's alt mode. It would be interesting if they could do their own spin on that
The ultimate threat for these people could be the Quintessons as they are trying to locate the "rebellious children," but the name Goliant (or Goliath) implies a very large being. And I don't know, but a gigantic planet size structure like the Sacred Ring? It give Unicron vibe. And maybe what it is containing isn't even a black hole, but the one creature that is essentially a very angry black hole.
My theory is Goliant has SOMETHING to do with unicron. Considering the aggorians are orange (unicrons body) and the zertonians are green (his eyes) and maybe that’s their connection to cybertronians idk🤷♂️
The origin of the Transformers was that the Quintessons made robots for sale to various alien empires- military units to fight their wars and domestic units to build stuff, for transportation, etc. Those robots eventually rebelled, chasing the Quintessons off Cybertron (the Quintessons' manufacturing world). The newly freed robots soon divided into factions based on their core programming- some geared towards preservation, building and order- others to conquest and fighting. Autobots and Decepticons It's possible that the people from Void Rivals were buyers of those robots- or that the Quintessons manipulated their society into civil war as a means to sell them the tools of war and rebuilding...that would explain why they use something akin enough to Energon to reactivate Skyfire.
I could see zalylac as a good candidate to become scorponok's headmaster if the opportunity ever presented itself. Or amy of the higher ups of that side of the conflict.

I'm writing a script where it's both. Hate Me! Hahahaha I'm glad to see we are going in different directions. But Im intrigued about another organic race…. I just read its another shared universe with GI Joe and Transformers. I guess I need to pick up a copy.
@@GoBeyondComics I just got the first 3 issues tonight. I have to compare it with mine. Haha. I wrote an entire creation story with Primis. I have it as a combination of Primus and Quintesson and Unicron. I'm writing it as from the past going forward like and origins story. I'm not a fancy artist but who knows, May I can draw. I haven't fully attempt it yet. I'm just writing/typing it all on a blog. I'm going to check out these 3 issues soon. Thanks for the reviews. And have a great new year!

I hope that Skybound can some how loop together the Primus and Quintesson creation story for the Transformers like the did in The Covenant of Primus

I’m hoping Proximus is either a cyborg or an individual that utilize cybertronian technology or both.
I can definitely see him being a cyborg. That would make sense since Zalilak said they will revive him. Which could indicate he is not human

I kinda thought zerternia has a connection to the Season 3 episode with the people that have jems in their head.

If they even introduce the concept of Headmasters. Zalilak will definitely be an important character I bet though
