    Great review !! I've had my Uyuni white on red/charcoal 3.5 Sport Prestige for two months. The tech is first class, fit and finish are excellent. In comfort it's luxurious, in Sport/sport+ it's pretty quick, two cars in one. To get the Mercedes GLC43 (on my short list) comparably equipped it broke $80K, The Audi SQ5 was in the $70's, and the BMW M340i was almost $70K. Watch out Deutschland, Genesis is serious.................

    hi, I really enjoy your videos. How do I update the 2022 GV70 maps?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the compliment and the question. The 2022 GV 70 has over the air updates Through Genesis Connected Services. If auto updates are turned on, the vehicle will tell you an update is available, you may also receive an email notification if you have set up a connected account. Simply follow the directions on the screen to download and update the maps. Genesis says this can take anywhere from 20-60 min. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the question. To delete any saved location in your saved list (including POI’s
      Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved Places] > [Favorites or POI’s] > [Menu] > [Delete] on the map screen.
      Select the desired item, Press [Delete].
      [Mark All]: Selects all items.
      [Unmark All]: Unmarks all items.
      [Cancel]: Exits screen.
      To add locations Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved Places] on the map screen.
      Press [Saved Places] on address book screen.
      Press [Menu] > [Add]. Usually here you’ll get a choice to save as favorite 1-3.
      Set a desired location by using search menu.
      When setting is completed, press [OK]. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    How to get the calm screen with the color/city background? I only have the 3 black and white options? Thanks

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 года назад +3

      Thanks for the question. As far as we can tell, the background screen seems to be tied to your geographic location and the weather. So sometimes you get one picture, but if the weather changes so does the screen. There is one place you can try to change it, but I'm guessing this is where you looked already. Look under "Display Settings" in the infotainment screen (may need to go into "Settings" first, then look for "Home Wall Paper", from there you will have 3 options, click the one you want and exit back to the Home Screen. Hope that helps, thanks for watching and don't forget to click that subscribe button!

    hi I’m not sure if you’re still reading comments or know the answer but is there a way to reset a driver profile back to default so it can be remade? i can’t seem to find it thank you

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  Год назад +2

      Thanks for the question. According to Genesis, you should click the settings button by the climate controls, then scroll down to user profiles and click. Then click on change user, select the profile you wish to delete, then scroll down the menu on the left. Towards the bottom you have the option to delete the profile. Thanks for watching!

    Is there a privacy setting in the infotainment system?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 года назад +1

      Depends on how private you want. You can use the driver profiles so that things like your radio favorites, seat, mirrors, steering wheel etc all are saved to either your key fob or phone so no one can mess them up. You also have a Valet mode but that only restricts certain features like it limits the radio volume. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the review. I bought a GV70 Advanced last week and have a question that the dealership could not answer and I don't see in any of the manuals. How do I add a name and address to the navigation, so I can say ROUTE TO JOHN SMITH and the nav knows that John Smith lives at 123 Main St. I don't have addresses stored on my Android phone but my phone numbers imported with no problem. Thanks and keep up great job!!

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 года назад +1

      Congratulations on the new ride! There are several ways you could accomplish this. 1. Put John smiths address into the contact info on your phone, re-pair your phone with the vehicle to make sure the address info syncs to the vehicle. Then you should be able to say “navigate to a contact” then when it prompts you say “John Smith”. 2. Program John smiths address as a favorite and then say “navigate to John smith” or whatever you named the favorite and it should work. (You would need to physically enter the address then save as a favorite-that option should be right on the screen where you type in the address. 3. Press the “navigation service button the the rear view mirror”, state the address and when it finds it , it will store as a POI (point of interest - and I believe you can then name that point of interest John smith. Now you could say “navigate to POI John smith”. Lastly you can from your home computer log into MyGenesisusa , select the Blue Link Logo, select Point of Interest search, enter all the addresses you want saved (one by one) then download them to your vehicle. Hope that helps and thanks for the compliment and for watching!

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 года назад +1

      To program an address watch the video starting at 7:20 and I cover how to do that. The one thing I didn’t say in the video is after you tell the system to go to that address there is a SAVE button on the left side. Click that and name it John Smith. Now you can just say navigate to John smith. That’s probably the easiest way. A side note- if your ever in a location that you want to save just pull up the navigation screen and click on the little blue arrow with circle around it, and it will bring up a window for you to name it- and it will be saved Thanks for watching!
