This is such an amazing, helpful video. I’m picking up my new GV70 tomorrow and will certainly be referencing this detailed how-to guide. Thanks for taking the time to make this!
Yes, this is my first Genesis! I got a 2024 GV70 3.5T Sport Advanced. I am coming from an RX 350. I’m in love with the tech, feel, and overall sleekness of Genesis. We got an amazing deal with a 2024 close out, which made it even better. Can’t wait to drive it home!
@CarsWithSteve, I continue to be impressed with Genesis, and that's all down to you. 3 months ago, I'd have never considered a Genesis, but you're videos have inspired curiosity about the brand. Well done, Steve!
Thanks Patrick! I had the same thought when I jumped into the GV70 for the first time. So amazing how far Genesis has come as a brand and what they offer. One of the only things I'd say could use a bit of an upgrade would be the maps
Haha I was in a 2025 GV70 last week and did that probably half a dozen times as well. It's so useful but always a face palm moment when I grab the wrong dial. Enjoy the new ride!
I'd bet that 90% of Genesis owners only change or use about 10% of what's in there! However, I'm one who likes to play with everything available and this video lets me know what's available and what's possible to adjust. I won't remember the specifics but I'll at least know that the setting is in there somewhere.
Any ideas - I bought a 2025 gv70 and apple car play isn’t picking up - I brought to the dealer and they are stumped - my phone works on every other car we plugged it into and the salesman phone worked fine when he pulled it in. Brand new Apple wire didn’t help - and wires from other didn’t either. All apples settings are good and the system did an update yesterday 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
If you're in the US it should be wireless CarPlay, Canada is wired still. I put out a video last week that covers different options to try and fix CarPlay issues --> ruclips.net/video/Rw_b44CPH24/видео.html
You can easily reset the screen by inserting a paperclip in the little hold just to the top right of the volume rocker. (just next to the Map button). You can check this article out which might help --> www.oviradio.cz/hyundai-kia-radio-engineering-mode-en/comment-page-3/

Thanks so much Roxanne! Exciting about the new ride too. Is it the first time you'll own a Genesis?

Great build for your first one, you're going to love the car. Hope it treats you well!

I bought a GV70 2.5 Advanced last week. This video is greatly appreciated. Some of the controls are quite intuitive, others, not so much.
Glad the video helped! How are you liking the GV70 so far? First time you've owned a Genesis?
@@CarsWithSteve I had a 2019 G80. I'm loving the GV70.
Just a bit of a change there! What do you think of the dial to move around the screen?
@@CarsWithSteve I like it, although I have grabbed it a couple of times meaning to move the shifter into reverse.

I really liked this video. Much more informative than the Genesis How To videos. Nice job.
Thanks Mike, appreciate that!

Such a great point.. there really are just a handful of features that most people would actually use. What Genesis model do you have?
@@CarsWithSteve I don't have it yet but it will be a GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige.
The Sport Prestige is such a great ride, enjoy it!
This is very informative video. Keep up the good job.
Thank you!
Very informative video ! Much appreciated 🙏
You’re welcome!
Do You know if those display are edge lit or Full array technologie?
Steve ever thought about reviewing tech products also? You’d be so good at that as well.😊
Hmm.. I haven't thought about getting into tech reviews as well. Could be something worth looking into though!
@@CarsWithSteve Indeed!
Curious.. do you think a deep dive into tech, like what I do here on how it's used, or generalized opinions would hit better?
@@CarsWithStevea deep dive I think.

@CarsWithSteve thank you sir 🙏
Anytime!
I don’t care to watch a 60 min video when all I need is how to change the South Korean display font
