Another little hint; with respect to the cruise control speed adjustment, that + and - toggle switch will adjust your cruise speed in 5 mile/hour increments if you hold that switch in position for more than a second while a normal click will adjust the speed in just 1 mph increments.
Thanks for the video. It is so nice to get a real world explanation of how to use these features. The stock Genesis "How To" videos are pretty weak. I'm subscribed now. Just picked up my GV80 today so excited to figure out how to use all this cool tech.
I didn't initially until I "played" with the system on empty roads and slowly worked my way up to busier and busier road traffic. I've now been using smart cruise, on both my Genesis GV80 and a Mercedes S550 for over 6 years. I think you'll find them real stress-savers on long trips. I use these systems on drives from North Carolina to Toronto Ontario and what a difference as far as exhaustion at the end of the day.
Hi! Great video! I have been suffering to turn off the Smart Cruise Control and use the Regular Cruise control for some time. I used many other cars in which you can turn it off and use it as a regular one but I couldn’t do it on my genesis. Do you have any way to do it? Thanks!
For such a great looking car, it's a pity the assited driving system is so bad :( Otherwise, I would have jumped on buying this car a long long time ago

Really very helpful. Thank you. Watching is always better than reading.
My pleasure, thank you for watching!
Very helpful. Thanks for the clear concise explanation. Much appreciated

I love Genesis with all my heart 🎉. Angels on wheels

Thank you Rick! Enjoy your GV80, that's a cool car
Thank you. This is was super helpful and prepares me well for my first cruise.
Thanks for such a good explanation. None of the Genesis videos give the driving experience examples that you capture on your drive! The manual sucks.
My pleasure thank you for watching!
I would never trust any smart cruise in city stop and go driving…..but very cool to watch and thank you for video
Thanks for watching!

I checked the owners manual for the GV80 I used to make this video and I can't see to find a way to switch to a tradition cruise control
Why does the LFA come on automatically when I push the cruise control button? I have to manually turn it off everytime.
I'm not sure, that's not how it worked on the GV80 that I drove
This is similar to Tesla's base 'Autopilot' on the highway?
No this system is not mean to be self driving. It’s a driver aid, so you need to watch the road and keep your hands on the wheel
@CarDietrich debatable I love eating tacos while it drives lol.... u do have to pay attention but keep hands on wheel meh.
its called,, ,Highway Driving Assist,,, for a reason ,,, ie not city lol

Learning curve😅. My new G70 is a dream
