  • A family of taekwondo instructors were able to save a woman from an attack in the Cypress area on Tuesday, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
    Gonzalez said instructors from the Yong-In Tae Kwon Do dojo sprung into action when they heard some commotion going on next door.
    Simon An, 20, told KHOU 11 News that he was grateful his family's martial arts skills could help.
    "You wouldn’t really expect it in an everyday situation, but when the time comes, it’s very valuable," Simon An said.

    Dojo is training facility for Karate(Japanese) and Dojang is a training facility for TKD(Korean) .

    • @zapikachu
      @zapikachu 3 месяца назад +5

      dojang, dōjō, wuguan, võ đường, akhara, gelanggang, sansaran, heya, kalari, etc. it's all just martial arts training halls. Japan does have specific dōjōs for stuff like aiki-dō, jū-dō, karate-dō, etc. But in Japan, they consider ANY place of physical training (like an MMA gym) as a dōjō. So if they are going off of Japanese terminology, a dojang is just another type of dojo.

Ped*philia and non consensual s*xual acts are almost something that’s glorified in Japanese culture depicted in anime and h*ntai. I find it weird that Japanese culture is so glorified over here in America but I didn’t have to go far to see just how common it was in the main sorts of entertainment. Japanese people would not have gotten involved in this sort of case, I can almost guarantee it

    I thank God yall were there and intervened. Praying for that lady's emotional and mental healing.

    So, you're reporting that these "taekwondo instructors stop woman"...? No. You make it sound like a *woman* was attacking someone, and that *she* had to be stopped. These heroes stopped a *man;* they *rescued* a woman. Who wrote this caption...?
