The inventor of the GoPro has a lot to answer for. Sometimes it seems that 90% of video on RUclips has been shot with a fixed focal length superwide lens. This superbly shot video shows just how much more interesting videography can be, using variable focal length and an artistic eye!
Looks awesome...straight out of camera..wow...I guess Scinetone based? will the secret "sauce" be revealed in your course? Ok then...looking forward to that
Ha, ha. Fortunately, I don't have to make decisions like that . . . not even hypothetical ones. And I don't want to say which one I would pick because other people might assume that they should make the same decision. No matter which of the two I would pick, there are plenty of good reasons why other people would be better off choosing the other one. So, I'm not going to say.
I don't do anything about noise and I've never noticed a problem with it on the Z200. I can only say that you must be using the wrong settings for exposing incorrectly. In my experience, the camera is super clean.
@@DougJensenVortexMedia I have serial #95, I wonder if it’s a build thing, shooting cinetone at iso 250 with auto ND and auto exposure set to +0.5 I’ll still get noise in the shadows
Hello. Do you have the opportunity to compare the z 200 with the z 90? I'm really curious how much better the z200 performs in low light compared to the z90?
Excellent footage Doug. Happy to see that you’re building these scene files. Counting the days for the masterclass so I can try them out.
Thanks again Doug, I appreciate this as so much of what I do has to go directly to air. The camera definitely passes the “here ya go test”
Cheers!
Looks great, Doug! Thanks, as always, for sharing!
Fantastic. You got another subscriber. Can't wait for the Z200 Master Class!

Hi @DougJensenVortexMedia ! When are you doing the master class? I'm very interested.
I hope to have it ready by November 20th. Thanks for asking.
Hi. Very nice work. I have the Nx800. At what number do you set the zebras in s-cinetone with this camera?
What color profile and recording format did you use?
If you could only have one camera, would you choose the FX6 or this?

How do you not struggle with noise? I struggle with noise even in broad daylight with my Z200…

@@Carnhy Yes, that does sound strange to be getting excessive noise. My camera is #164, so not that far off from yours.
@@DougJensenVortexMedia if you offer 1
On 1 consults I would love to try to problem solve with you at some point! Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have a Z90 anymore. I can tell you that the Z200 is better in low light, but I can't tell you by how much.
Have you tried shooting in s log 3? Many users write about a lot of noise.?

How do you think this camera compares image quality wise to the Z280?
Don't know. Haven't compared them head to head yet. Maybe next month I'll have time to post something when production of my master class is wrapped.
