I've met this guy and can't understand why he does it for free.he does a brilliant job on every one he does but got good ❤️ and been brought in to this would the right way. Only if there were more people like him ❤❤❤❤
Wow!! I wish we had people like this where I live Me & my husband are both disabled & can't do our gardening no more. Thankyou for what your doing for these people. X❤❤
That is tough, but I hope you can find a local resource to support you? I know in Leicester have gardeners who offer discount for the elderly/those with a disability. Thank you for watching - means a lot.
Great job Edan. You might find a long wooden handled garden hoe or spade less back-breaking for scraping those weeds. I work 4 hours per morning locally here in Dublin, Ireland in a civic centre and that's what I use, weed killer is a no no as people walk their dogs thru the carpark and cobbled area every day. Wishing you every success in your endeavour and looking forward to more videos. P.S. more stubborn weeds are helpless versus a kettle of boiling water!
If possible I would always ask for any vehicles to be removed from the property. Not only will it give you more space, there may also be weeds to sort out under them and it will prevent any damage ie scratches from falling branches, chips out of paint after using machinery, even dust over the vehicle. A good start to your new Channel.
@@GardensofEdan Ah, I did wonder as you didn’t have much space to do the hedge. I watch quite a few garden make-over channels and a strimmer is usually the culprit when damage occurs. I’ve seen 2 car windows broken, 1 broken pane of glass in a house door and have you seen the video of Al Blades cutting a live wire at an abandoned house? He was very lucky to survive. Saw you had cut your cutter cable (twice) so I think when you have any spare money a battery operated hedge trimmer is priority!
Nice job as far as it went. Unfortunately that driveway hedge needed to be taken back about a foot to get it back into its border and seriously lowered. But without the right tools and a car in the way, impossible. You definitely need a kneeling pad for all the future walkway weeding you will be doing. They are very inexpensive and will save your knees.
They've gone on holiday for a month so it wouldn't be sustainable for the short term - but I agree, she needs some love! I've given steps as to what I'd do mid-September time when they're back.
Nice to know there are still kind souls out there who are willing to lend a helping hand and share their skills. Great job Edan!

Thanks Tim, appreciate you being here - I definitely need to upgrade the tools as I go and I 100% agree, pesticides are a no no!
@@GardensofEdan A string trimmer erases those weeds in a flash. :)
New subscriber. Good job!
Until you can get some cordless equipment, tie the two plugs together with a square knot to keep them from coming unplugged.
Thank you for subscribing - battery trimmer and leaf blower are high on the list!

Hi Sarah! Welcome to the channel. The car had a flat tire so couldn't be moved - I did ask their permission to continue with it there!

A good power wash on the driveway and walkways will solve the weed issue and dirt very easily.
