Need to change oil after this operation Be careful soot is going to leak through piston rings (blow by passes ) to your oil causing harsh oil which may damage your engine or increase oil consumption lest worst case
@@Mr330d the First time it took me 15 minutes. Now 5 easy. I mean it isnt something that cant be done without special tools . You just remove engine cover and you can make it. And much better results. I doubt this helps in the video
Air flow goes to intake, intake through engine then through the exhaust which gets to your egr valve. Reason you gotta hold it at 2000rpm is the open the valve, allowing the mixture to clean the clogged up carbon and whatever. It takes a lot to locate, remove and clean an egr valve. So next best thing is egr spray, unless it's stuck open or closed, then you need to replace it
Have you watched a video of how to remove egr valve? Cause i found only similar model of mine and want to clean it by myself, i have the model of this video.
@@ZutiDIY it is strictly useless at all, more damage than good to the engine, on this type of engine the EGR valve is not complicated to disassemble and then clean PROPERLY.
Do not do this shit! It will NOT clean the egr valve… do yourself a favor a buy a replacement or dismantle the old one and professionally clean it… a bad egr will ruin not only the fun in driving but also your engine at one point ( turbo etc.)
you didn't clean the EGR dude...if anything you dissolved crap and sent into the engine...it takes a LOT of work to clean the EGR valve + intake + pipes...and that you certainly didn't do...
Can we use wd40 or carb and choke cleaner spary for turbo
What are you using?
I was told this will clean EGR ? Never worked me ..same car as in video peugeot hdi 1.6 engine thanks video
Nevermind. 1.7 million views...
Dude, you may need a new turbo after this 🌚
But... how can you know you really cleaned EGR?
Did you watched inside EGR before and after this video?
No he did not, and he has not clean anything, maybe the one side of the turbo, 🙄 Manuel cleaning is the only way.
it might free up the pinet?
@@jimmytheeJTW What's pinet?
@@supermassiveblckman the pin inside the valve the stopper rides on.

👍👍👍👍
I doubt this helps. Just remove it it takes 5 minutes. You are not cleaning the egr so only the engine valves mabye.
Dont do this people
It does not take 5 minutes to remove the EGR on 1,6 hdi lol

I was just thinking that 🤔

is it safe to clean turbo with liqui moly egr cleaner?
no
That's your turbo, man
A cosa serve?
You have NOT clean the EGR .
I don't think there is a way to clean EGR valve without removing it 😢this is a turbo not EGR valve
My experience is take dam EGR off and clean it However dam hard remove it .. awkward bolts but worth it
How about unbolt valve and spray right into it?
Have you watched a video of how to remove egr valve? Cause i found only similar model of mine and want to clean it by myself, i have the model of this video.
Egr running lower 2000 RPM. This only clear turbo, intercooler and intake manifold. Not egr.
I'm planning on doing this are you spraying into the turbo ?
Yes
@@ZutiDIY Which one are you using the ones I have been looking at say spray into intake manifold but not through the turbo.
He's cleaning the turbo not the egr as the title says.... 😭💯😂🤣🤔
Manuel cleaning is the only way.
Never clean it that way , remove the part you want to clean, even cleaning with the engine running.
Nice Video ,Concise and Simple to Perform
Yes , very simple and pointless 😃
It doesn't work and it ia very dangeruous for turbo charger bcs spray will wash oil which lubricate turbo cartrige shaft.
I might suggest nitrile gloves as the cleaner is likely toxic otherwise good work!
Thanks for the tip!
This is doing sweet FA 🤣
This is one way to blow up your engine! Speaking from experience! Not cleaning egr aswell?
wrong hole,it must spray into air intake hole with that long hose
What are you spraying?
EGR valve cleaner.
@@ZutiDIY it is strictly useless at all, more damage than good to the engine, on this type of engine the EGR valve is not complicated to disassemble and then clean PROPERLY.
Bullshit spray !!
thats a turbo..
r.i.p. engine !!
Cosa gli succede facendo così all turbo?
OOf stay away from your turbo with solvents and shit... I'd rather spent the 10min to remove the egr valve than paying over a grand for a new turbo!

Thats a turbo, not an egr😅😅
No
This car will be back to u tomara and every other day after that .waste of time mate
Dont do this
why not? I've done this with my ford tdci every 50.000 km's drive. I have never an issue wit my turbo or EGR after 400.000 km's at now.
