Sounds like you're projecting your fear of leaving the message; the "we'll understand it better by and by", the cover for inconsistencies, has been misused and overused, and the threat of a curse on your life is just to keep you fearful; pull the bandage off-- you were lied to like we all were, and it stole a big part of our lives--the toll is insurmountable ; don't let lies steal what's left of your life

Yes, Jesus clearly spoke of himself as the Son of man, but even that description speaks of his deity if you study it.
He also clearly spoke of himself as the Son of God. The foundational scripture for revelation confirmed this when Peter said “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” and Jesus said his Father had revealed that to Peter.
The above quote by Branham where he said “infidels” were saying Jesus never identified himself as the Son of God, his reply was “he certainly did.” Then turns around and states Jesus never identified himself as the Son of God. Branham just made himself an infidel.
So, I ask, which teaching was vindicated?

WMB hated William Joseph Seymour ( the man who brought the Azusa Street Revival ) FF Bosworth took à picture with Seymour the picture is on internet. WMB was racist but not Bosworth. Robert Tom met FF Bosworth and wrote à chapter about him in his book The New Wine is Better. He says that FF Bosworth was filled of the Holy Spirit. If you read the book Christ the healer you will feel the Holy Spirit !!!

Here is a question of choosing whom to believe. I personally have read the writings of Charles Larkin...they are similarities but very different from what is in the message especially seven weeks and tribulation. On the issue of serpent seed ...where in the Bible does it list Cain as the son of Adam. Look at the genealogy of Cain ....very different from Abel....

You wasn't a believer from the beginning,We Love Brother Branham and He taught us the true way of life and He did put all of his efforts to exalt Jesus until he was scoffed at that...but by my personal experience,The Lord lead me straight to this message when I was searching for a truth and that has been 10 years ago,I have seen the real God in this message who back up the Word and the message of WMB perfectly to the dot as I'm a preacher right now. I've seen the hand of the Lord filling the people with the Holy Spirit and and the real manifestation of the Word of God!
I remember one time I was so eagered to know what those critics of the Prophet wants to say,I watched the so called "seek ye the truth" and "believe the sign" but the Lord warned me of listening to those unbelievers as the have denied and drop out of the will of God.
My sincere prayer is for people like you to see the truth again and come back to the Lord Jesus who sent brother Branham.

Why I left the message also. The message of the followers. They taught it different than what the prophet was telling us. We are the church within. Now I listen to the tapes been doing it for years. Benson i love you as a brother and thats why am taking this time to respond. I am a pastor but thats not why i am responding. William Branham was a servant of God sent and ordained of God to his generation. This propaganda campaign against his ministry online is orchestrated by the kingdom of darkness. A more positive thing to do if you genuinely want to work for God is to locate your function in the body of Christ and begin to work. This servant of God has long gone to be with His maker and rewarded by the one that called him. I am not a member of the message or his church and have no reason to defend him. The body of Christ should be praying that God in this last days would send us prophets like him and kathryn kuhlman with reveletoral and power gifts. For your information he accurately prophesied about the current vice president of the united states even up to the cloth she wore for her inauguration. The word of knowledge he gave at many of his crusades were spot on and confirmed by the people themselves. World evangelists like TL Osborn, Benny Hinn among others have given first hand accounts regarding his ministry. You conveniently left all that out. Even if for the sake of balance in your story you should have included that. If in your heart of hearts you no longer felt the need to remain there all you should have done was to quietly leave and not run down a servant of God there are consequences as outlined in scripture. 1 Chro. 16 : 22. I truly dont know what has entered the world especially in this social media age. Nothing is sacred anymore ! His body of work is here on youtube for anyone who truly has the spirit of God to watch and assess. God is not a respecter of persons and if brother branham wasnt sent by him he God would expose him. I have personal revelations concerning his ministry without help from anyone. If there was some level of idolation about him by his followers after his passing it didnt mean he was party to it. According to Hebrews 1:1-2, we don't need a prophet in these last days, we only need Jesus Christ.
The reason I did not talk about the prophecy of the US Vice President is because that can't even be considered a prophecy in the first place because of its ambiguity. Branham said that the alleged prophecy got fulfilled when the women voted in president Kennedy, it was fulfilled during president Kennedy's tenure, and again he said the woman was the Roman Catholic Church, and again he said she will be president or vice president. What can we take from here, it shows he didn't even know what he was talking about. Branham got this prophecy from the book of Revelation 17:4 and added his own thought.
Talking about T.L Osborn and Benny Hinn, if truly they considered Branham to be a true prophet, why don't they preach, teach and follow his teachings?
Unfortunately your interpretation of 1Chr.16:22 is wrong. When the Bible says "Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm" it does doesn't mean not to expose the false ones. In fact, every person who receives the Holy Spirit is anointed, not only the prophets. Branham was a false one and needs to be exposed.
Lastly, why should I ask for forgiveness for exposing Branham's lies?, was he God that I should ask for forgiveness? This tells the level to which he is revered.

@RestoredToTruth The serpent seed doctrine is false and not supported by the Bible. Branham also taught that hell is not eternal that it will end. These are false doctrines which make Branham a false teacher. I studied some of the teachings of Branham. In one book he made mention of a woman who died and made this statement, "I know when she died she went to heaven because she was a good Catholic woman." Where does God's Word teach one is saved by being a good Catholic? This video brought out many contradictions. For example, Branham said in one place there is no such thing as the trinity that it is satanic. In another place in prayer he makes reference to the Holy Spirit being the third person of the trinity. The video gives the years these messages were preached by Branham and the numbers to identify the sermon he preached. Regardless of how we would honor any man on this earth, if he teaches things that the Scriptures refute then the man is wrong in his doctrine. This has nothing to do with a cat being rubbed the wrong way as you state in response to the author of this video. Deal with all the facts presented by this author, prove his facts wrong, then you have made your point. But to respond to the facts presented in this video with talk about a cat being rubbed the wrong way, or the author has a religious spirit out of the pits of hell does not defeat the strong facts presented about the inconsistencies of many of Branham's false teachings and failed prophecies.

Br. Onyema they are fulfilling scriptures on the opposite side. They are continuing to fill God's cup of wrath. It is a repeat of the days of Noah. They mocked that prophet and the message of their day. But finally, they received their reward. Jesus later met them in hell (1Peter.3:16) having much regret, crying and mourning. They had received their pay for having let Satan use them to fight against the purpose of God. They had become co-workers with Satan to mock the way of God and corrupt the way of God. Now, I am not here to put you in Hell, and neither am I here to put you in Heaven. Why? Because your destination is already been pre-planned before the foundation of the world. But there's one passage of scripture that I'll like to bring back to your attention. You have quoted St. Matthew 17:12-13. But why did you leave out the 11th verse, which quoted thus, "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things." My questions for you my precious brother. Based upon what the Lord had said in verse 11, which I believe that you conveniently leave out because it didn't fit so well in your claims. Which to me is very shady my brother, that's like the serpent in the Garden of Eden. I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from. So these are my questions: Why did the Lord said that "Elias truly SHALL first come, and restore all things?" Isn't the word "SHALL" means future? And how could "ALL THINGS" be restored in the days of John the Baptist when the Seven Church Ages wasn't yet to come to pass, in the which you are evidently living in the seventh one? Are you saying that "SHALL" and "ALL THINGS BEEN RESTORED" was also the fullness of John the Baptist ministry?

Congratulations on leaving the message. From someone who also left the message, I would like to encourage you to apply the same critical thinking to christianity and religion as a whole. The same type of contradictions that you found in the message, also exist in the bible.
Absolutely.
After leaving the message, I found myself trying to understand scripture without message interpretation. I was leaning towards preterism for a few months until I realised that it had its flaws too. Then to my dismay, the unthinkable happened: I found myself using the same critical thinking to Bible. The search was on… discovered Scholars like Bart Erhman, Robert M. Price, Richard Carrier, Gerald Fitzgerald etc… the list seemed to grow. The Bible didn’t look the same any longer.
I still think there’s some god but it’s not who Christianity and religions try to tell us.
I’ve come to the conclusion that, men like WMB also looked at the Bible and realised that it was deeply flawed. Therefore it didn’t make any difference whether they made money out of it or not.
@@cliffchadwicker I was agnostic for almost a year, trying to reconcile the "god" thing, and the more a thought about it, the more it became clear that is was impossible for a god/deity/supernatural to exist. The more I started looking at things scientifically, the more the doubt grew, until I finally became atheist.

Salvation is so simple a child can grasp it (Matthew 18: 3,4). (1 Corinthians 15: 1-4) is the formula for salvation. Simply believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and you are saved. Salvation is not a Ruebick's Cube. It has to be idiot proof or no human would ever be saved.

It is astounding that even after Bill Paul's recent death, which was the conclusion of yet another "thus sayeth the Lord' unfulfilled prophecy these believers seem to be finding their way to reason away reality. It was so cringe-worthy to come across a RUclips video, of an eight-something Bill Paul--a man well into his senior years saying that he was not old, not as a quip against aging, but a shield against a failed Braham prophecy. In this video, he also referred to Joseph Branham when he said...he was privileged to know 2 prophets in his life". Since William Branham was supposedly the last prophet, it's clear that this statement is intended to perpetuate the Braham grift aka message lies

I am believer, though some of the “rules” you stated are true, most of them are not and i know that because i live in that household. You act as if the rules are only limited to the church where as most of them are practical things that any church abides to them. No new fashion??? Stop making up stuff. You have to understand, Brother Branham was a missionary but his Church was in Jacksonville . There are certain things that he excepted in HIS church, the one he pastored and thats fine. In my church you can get any hair cut as a man, latest fashion is okay, tvs are fine, we eat what we want ( we dont take alchahol), we uave a pet, we put fuel when the car needs fuel, washing machines are not problem , we use dishwashers…look it was your specific church, that demanded that not the whole message. Acts 9:7, Acts 22:9 and Acts 26:14 does not contradict themselves but everything depends upon the writer and his experience at that particular moment. One thing is common amongst the 3 scriptures, there was the voice. Our main interest is what that experience was all about but the writers had to give their own version of the same account. It is same as you being surrounded by 4 people, and you ask them to draw what they see about you. One will draw the front, the other the sides and another the back but at the end, they're all drawing you according to what they see and that doesn't mean they're contradicting each other.
That's the same with the Bible, it is composed of a collection of different books authored by different writers with different experiences but same meanings. And here is where the message of Branham differs, it only has one author(William Branham) with many contradictory statements from one mouth and that can't be overlooked.

The problem starts with the three key slogans contained in the message literature (1) "Just believe", (2) "Say what the tape says", and (3) "Don't reason".
I think we need to appeal more to those who are enlightened (academics), to review the message proposition in order to help others. Surely there's a place in this discourse where critical thinking should be accomodated. God made the rational mind for a reason.
Why did He say "Come now, and let us reason together says the Lord.."? Is 1:18 NKJV
You know, the message environment is like being in the military (just take the orders, and no questions asked). The approach is always 'top-down' and never 'bottom-up'.
In contrast, what I've discovered is that the God of the Bible listens, He loves dialogue, and He loves when we ask Him questions (i.e difficult ones, embarassing ones) and responds always regardless but He always stays with His Word.
This is more like how we deal with our kids, they ask all sorts of questions and we always try to provide answers to the best of our abilities. We don't judge them, just like He (God) doesn't judge us when we have 'inquiring minds'.

Firstly let me highlight two things that you're doing in your response:
1. You are misunderstanding the context of my comments (your diagnosis).
2. You are using the wrong tools to perform the task (your procedure and prescription).
I'm using the analogy of a health care professional here, because I think it's so relevent to the issue at hand and quite frankly this is the main challenge that the 'message of William Branham' has, simply because it's a plagiarised form of theology which results in misplacing of a lot of scriptures.
The scripture you have quoted is not the basis for what I've mentioned in my comment (regarding slogans) and I doubt if there's a place WMB ever uses it as such, therefore one could be justified to say that your response is mute to the issues being raised and lacks substance.
In addition, your analogy of a child contradicts your trail of thought at the same time because you say:
a) "It relies on its loving parents for its guidance, until it can become mature enough to learn to act on its own".

Firstly these are premised on the belief that WMB is a prophet with "Thus saith The Lord".
1. 'Just believe' - The assumption is to regard WMB's words as an absolute, but according to the Bible christians have been instructed to 'believe' ONLY the Word, Jesus Christ and to reject 'another' Jesus. II Corinthians 11:4 and I Corinthians 2:2
2. 'Say what the tape says' - in the Message William Branham is elevated above the authority of the Bible through this slogan, because more often than not message followers prefer to stick to his words and his opinions even in cases where he contradicts the Bible. E.g (a) Eve had a sexual intercourse with the Serpent and the whole serpent seed doctrine. The Bible doesn't teach this. (b) a man can divorce his wife for cutting their hair. The Bible doesn't teach this for instance just to mention 2 examples.
3. 'Don't reason' - By this slogan, the Message implies that what WMB said is final and shouldn't be challenged even on the basis of historical, archeological evidence and Biblical account. I submit, this is an error.
There's nothing wrong in applying reasoning, God gave it for a 'reason' e.g The prophecy that Isaiah gave concerning the Jews being dispursed all over the world from AD 70 when the emperor Titus besieged Jerusalem and during WW2, then God bringing them back to their homeland again from 1948 onwards.
An illustration on the above statement to show that reasoning (logic) also has a place in the things of God in certain instances, and why we should use it to verify or attest to certain claims. e.g.
(I) God made a promise (recorded before the fact - Biblical & historical), and He was bound to fulfil it because He is God and cannot lie or fail.
(II) When the prophecy was eventually fulfilled (history recorded this after the fact) then logic (reasoning) tells you that yes indeed, God did promise and then later fulfilled the promise. Israel is now back in her homeland (historical fact). This is logical and doesn't require faith.
Simply put, there's a place for reasoning (application of logic) and there's a place for faith.
(B) Review of the message proposition (appealing to enlightened individuals in the message).
I've mentioned this deliberately, but the reason why this is important is that, there's two dimensions here and each needs to be tested namely:
(I) The Biblical context - WMB's claims to be a gentile prophet (Mal 4:5&6 & Rev 10:7)
(II) The Historical context - His 1933 vision claims and every other claimed prophecy.
Again as I've said, your response has missed the point and also lacks sustance.
A fruitful response would be one that (1) Identifies the real issues and (2) Addresses the issues without any biases.
The challenge still stands, "...and if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it". I Peter 3:15

1. Reminder
- It's not the Bible that's under fire and scrutiny here, but the claims of WMB.
2. Focus point (scope)
- Let's not deviate and forget the 'big elephant' in the room. We can debate other things later, first things first. WMB's claims in the context of history and the Bible.
3. Facts you and others CANNOT change which needs to be remembered about WMB and his message:
- Message doctrine - It's a plagiarism from various authors' work which came before WMB; mainly from Clarence Larkins, WMB therefore didn't reveal any mysteries or necessarily restored any truths whatsover. He copied word for word in most cases from other authors. If there's people we perhaps need to acknowledge, it's those authors and not him. (WMB o kopisitše - he's copied from others).
- 1963 Cloud - was not a 'supernatural', but 'natural' phenomenon, it was formed as a results of an explosion of a thor rocket by the Vandenberg air force base. WMB was not there when it happened. The original photo (by Science Magazine - Dr James Mc Donalds) doesn't have beards, and eyes as claimed in the message, those things were added later on.
- Book of Malachi - relates to the Jews and not Gentiles and therefore WMB doesn't feature anywhere there, he simply inserted himself.
- Prophet (major) to gentile age - None promised to this age in the Bible. "All the law and prophets were until John, grace and truth comes through the Lord Jesus".
- Ku Klux clan - WMB and his former mentor Roy E. Davis were part of this group that promoted white supremecy e.g WMB had a special hatred for Martin Luther king Junior.
- Historical records in libraries today - WMB followers are now attacking library materials by removing the pages that contains facts about WMB.
- Municipal bridge vision - 16 men never died when it was constructed, therefore the vision failed.
- Africa vision - this never happened and WMB is gone, therefore the vision has failed.
- 1950 Houston texas photo - yes, the light did struck the lense, but it was a natural light in the auditorium.
- 1977 prediction - WMB was wrong in his claims that everything was to end in 1977. Though not a prophecy but he says he spoke under inspiration. This also has failed.
- Los Angeles sinking - In the Acts of the prophet book, WMB told Billy Paul that sharks would be swimming where they were standing in LA 'before' he becomes an old man. The prophecy has failed, Billy Paul is an old man and Los Angeles is still standing.
And the list is endless, please do research. The truth always sets one free.
4. Finally
In my native language (Sepedi-Northern Sotho) we say "Motho o šetše a no dira ka kgang bjalo, o no gapeletša. O e nametša thaba le ge o bona e hlotša".
Loosely translated as "You are just forcing this thing, even when you can see that's it's failing and cannot carry you any further".
I wish William Marrion Branham was truthful and his message right. Thank God for opening our eyes, my study of the whole message from 1946-1965 has helped me know what the message says and claims.
That's a good starting point, a lot in the message don't unfortunately know what it claims hence wouldn't know where it's wrong.
My second challenge is, if you think the message is unshakable, why don't you look into these discoveries. What are you afraid of? I think I've got an idea, cause even the ministers and pastors in the message are so scared to face this. Their strategy is that of discouraging their congregants to research.
In fact very few people these days really stick to what WMB said e.g most people in the message own TVs, sisters are no longer in the kitchen, what about the hatred and divisions that exist among message ministers and churches? What about the 'education is of the devil' doctrine?, the standards of WMB have significantly dropped and compromised because pastors want to retain more members, especially 'affluent' (and educated) ones otherwise the 'tithes' collection base would diminish.
This goes to show that WMB's ideas were just simply that, "man's ideas" and nothing more. Hence the message project is failing daily. It won't last long anyway. Only the Bible has and will stand the test of time.
