At least it's a soft pink. I like a mat finish. I'm rather excited over the new non sticky mat. What a great idea! My one question is, since it's electric static cling, is it also going to attract fine dust and / or cat and dog hair? Which does more? Curio or the cameo 5?
I don’t have pets anymore so I haven’t been able to test how much animal hair clings to it, but that’s a good question. I sometimes see a little bit of paper dust clinging to it, but not much. When it’s turned off it does not attract anything to it.
I have the ES Mat on my Curio 2 and gave 3 labs and nothing and when needed I simply rince it under clear lukewarm water and leave to dry on a flat surface. 😊
I recently bought a cameo five and had the update to silhouette studio business edition all the cuts said and show up fine for my cameo 4 plus. But why is it asking me to make new cut settings or why are there not already presets? Thank you
That is correct. The lines of the electronics help with placing your material straight, and I just leave some extra space around my designs if I’m cutting from smaller pieces instead of a full sheet.
Thankful for the update to allow my curio2 to work with mac sonoma 4.1 yay!!!! Love my silhouettes have for years!!!!

The es mat does not have grids or ruler like the reg mat?
No it’s clear. But sometimes I use my sticky mat when needed and put washi tape to secure it.
