In The One, things begin to turn dangerous. Her control is slipping and the Queen is willing to do anything to make that love happen. She’s willing to kill off the competition: “I want to kill all the love that's for you, So only mine remains”. When in character, Dany will spit out the final “for you to love me back” in furious, frustrated rage. Events are about to occur which cannot be undone.
Why does nobody ever mention how great Ale bass playing is
I know! I always think it and forget to mention it! She’s killer!

I am a heavy-duty fan of The Warning but I want you to be honest - I hate fake reactors. But I also have complete confidence in the Villarreal sisters that you'll like their music! :-)
Watching Dany singing in character mode makes this song even better for me. I can see, hear and almost feel the frustration being experienced by the protagonist. 🤘😀🤘
Dany does a great job of crawling into a song. I have seen her transform from a smiling, sweet young thing, into a psychopath in a matter of seconds, while on stage. Loved hearing your take on this song. 🤘🏻❤️⚠️

Dany's vocals are truly wonderful and expressive on both of TW's LP albums, also in their acoustic versions of QOTMS songs and in more recent pro-shot concerts such as the one at Foro DiDi, Monterrey, in 2019. She also carries enormous weight on guitar while singing what are often very complex, even operatic lyrics... to me she is amazing; they all are.
People complaining about a 9.5 reminds me of the pressure put on teachers to inflate grades. To me, a "C" means good. "Ya did good, boy. You did as well as the average kid in your class." A true statement, but an insult to anyone (parents and students alike) who feels that just showing up deserves an award.
About fans. I've seen a comment or two on fan forums complaining about reactors, but those comments are largely ignored by others on the forum. There are the vocal few fans of every singer and band who spend their time attacking opinions, harassing reactors and policing other fans for some appropriate level of loyalty, but thankfully they are few. I'm a fan of Grace (and many others) and this kind of fan behavior pisses me off. It's worth emphasizing that fan groups are not homogenous, and one person's behavior isn't representative. I know you know this, but nevertheless I think it's important to say.
If only I had an average of 9.5/10 in my studies...😄
Love your honesty, don’t change a thing. I get the feeling that your critique focus is often on the vocal as it’s obviously your background, apologies if I’m incorrect. So on that basis, the scores are consistently fair and excellent particularly for The Warning. Your never going to get Angelina standard vocals from a 3 piece power trio with that high energy they produce, I doubt you expect that..and especially with an super energetic singing drummer, so all in all I think you get it spot on 😊
Yeah, Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album. Dany is acting as much as singing and playing, so she's just getting right into the role. It's well worth listening to the album (or the full playlist on youtube) in order to get the full experience.
I'm enjoying your honesty, so please keep that up. Though i love the pure mushy kind of reactions too; it's just about sharing music. Who doesn't enjoy sharing the things they love with other people, right? :)

That was the biggest surprise I've had yet on scoring. I was honestly worried that this one would be the first seven. Because of her theatrics, Dany's vocals were pretty much all over the place on this one. I love it. I love the passion she displays, but hearing " pitchy" in every song, I thought this one was gonna get the bottom Warning score. Whew! 😅
Mark Bell 😆 I had the same feeling, I thought she wasn’t going to love vocals on this one. As you said , Dany is very into character, very theatrical (which I love). I’m pretty sure that if she listens to the whole album and analyzes the story she’d enjoy more that part of the performance.
Early on, this was my favorite The Warning song. I love how the song modulates into the chorus.

This is the first time I've heard this group. I'm hearing things that remind me of Gracie Slick, and I keep wanting more fullness in the big notes. I often have to hear a vocalist a couple (or more) times to get the singers I'm comparing them to, out of my head. I was really impressed with the drummer.
First of all, this is your channel. You should react/analyze/review the way you see fit. I respect the fact that you aren't afraid to critique and talk about any aspect that you see as "off".
Fun fact about this song. That line "Is it all in my head? Was it something you said That left my heart exposed?" originally ended with "That let my heart explode". They had already recorded the album. Their mom was singing the song in the kitchen, and she said "left my heart exposed?" They told her that wasn't the lyric, but it was perfect. When they went back to do the mix, the re-recorded that line with the final lyric. Mom would not accept a writing credit. lol
There is no question about mom deserving the credits for their looks and successes in general. 😍

Your honest analysis is what makes your channel one of the best reaction channels. Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album that each song is a progression of the Queens love for another that is not returned which drives her insane. She Goes from infatuation to obsession that eventually leads to murder her own mental breakdown and finally suicide only to be repeated as she is resurrected in the prologue Dust to Dust.
I really do wish people would stop recommending songs from this particular show, not because they are bad but because the girls faced a mountain of obstacles. First, this was the first time they had performed many of these song live. Second it was performed in Mexico City, 2250 metres above sea level in the thin atmosphere and smog (They had to have emergency oxygen on hand). Third it was their longest show to date at over 2 hours. Fourth poor little Ale was only 13, Pau was 16 and Dany 18, this show would have been daunting even for the most seasoned performer let alone a group of teenagers. For us super fans it's difficult to find any fault and get excited by the performance not necessarily the vocal fidelity. I do agree that Dany does have to work on her lower and softer notes, however when she needs to belt it out she does so very convincingly. She does lose some pitch when she looks down to her pedalboard to change an effect.
Maddog Jones I understand your concern but in all honesty there aren't a great deal of choices with audio quality good enough to listen to. Most of the crowd shot stuff, I won't even listen to on my own. I sure wouldn't recommend a reaction to it.
@@markbell4017 Sure there are, Foro Didi, Saltillo, The Quarantine concert and Anything recorded by Erick Alderete. Plus they have released they have each studio recording on RUclips and many fan made lyric videos.
Videos from the show Desvelados would also be a good choice for some of the songs.
@@MaddogJones I am sorry my friend. I guess our ears just work differently. Foro DiDi I agree with. The quarentine show, while I enjoyed it tremendously and have watched it many times had terrible sound. You could hardly hear Pau. Dany's mic was too loud and the bass was too prominant. I approved (bass is life) but a sound man would have dialed it back. I agree with ABJ Busti Desvelados was nice.
I still don’t understand why fans that are paying for the reactions insist in this show, as you guys said, is not that is not good but is not the best audio/ vocal example of their capabilities. Foro Didi and Desvelados are great. I’m sure she would love the acustic set of The One, Hunter and Red Hands.
The biggest reason why I like watching your reactions is simply that I enjoy watching you do them. It really helps when you also react to my favorite girls. 😍
The score that you give them is not as important to me. Even if I really want you to enjoy them like I do it's not gonna break my heart if you don't. Most important is that we don't get a feeling that you grade in order to encourage us to keep requesting more. Most likely we would anyway even if most of us feel that $50 is better spent on the girls than on a reactor. Many of our true fans find it hard even to afford to support them via Patreon with more than $1 each month even if the best value for them would be at the $10 tier.
As long as you say what would have made you like a certain song better you are really helping the band in the long run. A true friend is someone who stands up for you but don't hesitate to mention what would improve your appearance. They tell you if your clothes are dirty, the zipper is down, your breath smells, you are talking too loud, etc.
What I like most about Dany's singing is how much effort she puts into acting the meaning of a song. It's more important than looking or sounding good. In the best of worlds, it could be all of that but the performance must always be the priority.
Honesty is always appreciated, and as my dad says: Truth is not a sin but it discomfort some.

These girls do a fantastic job. They wrote all this which in itself is spectcular. I think their live versions are better than the albums versions of the songs. It really does grow on you. The more you listen the more you like it. Its complicated but simple at the same time. Im a big metal head so having a singer that is off pitch sometimes does not bother me at all. They all have great voices for the songs.

For me there are far too many reactors out there that say “Hello! Today I’ll be reacting to (song). Hope you enjoy!” Then they listen to the song in its entirety, and then at the end say “Wow, that was great!” and then end the video. For me that’s pointless. I could go watch the original video and get the same out of it. I enjoy reaction channels that watch it and tell me honestly why they liked the song or didn’t like the song. If you’re not being honest, is it really a “reaction?” P.S.- Here are their names and pronunciation: Daniela (Dany, pronounced like it looks) plays guitar and is the main lead singer. She is 18 in the video and is 20 now. Paulina (Pau, pronounced pow) plays drums and sings backup as well as lead vocals on some songs. She is 16 in the video and is 18 now. Alejandra (Ale, pronounced ah-leh) plays bass guitar and sings backup vocals, although she has sung lead on a couple of songs before. She is 13 in the video and is 15 now. I don't know music but I love music. Although sometimes I disagree with your reactions, I 100% support your honesty. I also know that music is art and since all art can be accessed in a subjective or objective way, I do not know how to read music, nor do I know melody, much less sing in tune, I appreciate that someone who does show me small or big defects because in this way I learn. I listen to a song and I like it or not (subjective form) I read or listen to criticism from a connoisseur and I learn (objective form) In me you have a faithful follower. (Sorry for my english)

How could 9.5 ever generate complaints? Even the greatest bands in rock history didn't nail a 10 every performance. Check out some Nirvana performances, e.g., where even David Grohl admits, quite honestly, they sounded like sh*t. While other nights it was pure genius...

Nailed it! Great review and reaction. QOTMS is called a "musical novel" by the band, but as far as I'm concerned, it could better be called a rock opera and for my money a masterpiece of one. As you say, things are starting to get dark and crazy at this point...and it goes straight downhill from here...obsession, stalking, murder, the whole 9 yards. As someone very accurately stated a while back...it could very well have been written by Edgar Allan Poe (in one of his darker moments). I've been a Rock fan since before the Beatles showed up, and this one is high up on my list of favorite albums ever.
Definitely listen to the full Queen of the Murder Scene album in order. Love the reactions. But to get the full feeling of the songs, you need to take the journey with them.
You're one of the best reactors I've seen, I can't say others are honest or not, but there are a lot of folks who react like they are having a real orgasm (specially some of the band maid reactors) So I thank you for being honest, also, to contribute to bring us back to the ground to us Band Maid fans haha. Nice reaction and I appreciate the ten. Will you PPLLEEEASSE check out the Foro Didi concert. Every time I watch your Warning ones and see that it is Lunario...again, I wait for you to comment on the vocals when it has been explained she had problems with catching her breath from major altitude change and no acclimation time which affects your entire performance (I've done it and it sucks to have to fight for every note). She is so much better and more passionate in the other concert and the camera work and sound is so much more immersive.
I think that it's up to the person that makes the request to suggest the right video.

As I have told another reactor; you do you. If I don't like your reactions then I'll just by-pass. As is, this a great reaction. Me believes you are understanding the album and that is great.
You cannot give 10 on all songs if you have your std. I appreciate Angeline Jordan but only few songs as she is only singing covers and in my view you only goes as far singing covers. I get a bit bored of the talent channel artists. Her best is Young and Beautiful in front of the microphone, only Lana Del Rey herself did it as well 🤠.
Now The Warning writes their own songs and sing them as they do. This is what it is. Like Dany’s and Pau’s voices or not, they sound like this and will always do. Pure raw and talent. And one shall really not compare band vs band. There are many band out there that do their way and so it shall be. Either you like The Warning or not... if you would have followed the album from song to song you would have seen the main character going from frustration to obsession to madness and finally to The End where she is dying. Glad you like this song, The One. For me, Stalker is one of the strongest character songs of the album. Did you do it? If not you have a great tune in front of you. Not the most catchy tune but as part of this rock musical, fantastic to see Dany how she lives into the character and then knowing that Dany seems to be the sweetest person in real life, really amazing.
Now here comes the criticism of your channel... are you ready because this is my, so far, only criticism... your intro of 4-5 notes...haha cannot stand it and have to quick scroll haha but it’s your channel.

Been watching the playlist and noticed you mention a lot about the lead being off a small bit. This is what I'm hearing and just my opinion; She seems to have a issue with her lower register of her voice and staying in tune while down there. She gets better as the song goes, but it's still a little shaky . Her mid and high end is incredible and powerful. I know in most of the video's she still fairly young and this may have been corrected and improved as she's gotten older and received more training. Great group still and so much potential for growth. I've enjoyed your and your little ones reaction.
It this was your birthday, I would persuade you to listen to I'D RATHER GO BLIND covered by Angelina Jordan. You would be one of the to recognize the whole of her interpretation. Go for it! And, Happy Early Birthday 🎂!!

I am a big Warning fan, but others have covered area that better than I can. I will just like some of their comments instead of diluting the good commentary.

Hello, Maunalee, I do have to say I am a little puzzled. I am one who reads body language. When someone gets crinkles above their nose it usually indicates one of a couple things. Either they are having difficulty hearing; possibly due to the volume not up enough or other sounds distracting the person, or what they are hearing is not their cup of tea. I watched a few and thought, "she doesn't really like it." but then, you give good reviews. I was just wondering.
