Dude, Vampire Elder Dragon, Instantly one of my favorites. Could change in the future but my god Malzeno is just so good. I can’t wait to fight this guy.
If I fight with Malzeno in beta or demo she will be like: - 15 minutes quest times - one shot and suck my blood - get carted - see her again and give her some shelling (Gunlance main) - time up quest failed - run out of attempts - delete save data - repeat
@@PrimalDragon1740 I can understand why some people might gender something like Namielle or Velkhana female (even though they have masculine titles at some points in the story) because their species name sounds feminine, but every way you look at it, Malzeno is a masculine name so if they don't call it by it like you would most animals why not refer to it as him? Sounds less conflicting with its name.

Plus the name and the way it looks give off feminine vibes. Malzeno on the other hand, I don't understand how anyone would assume its a female at this point with the info we have. Makes no sense, especially with that name.

Pretty sure that "Crimson Glow" refers to the "Crimson Glow Valstrax" and not Malzeno. That way it also gives us hints as to why a Valstrax destroyed the civilization at the Ruined Pinnacle.

When the apex monsters roar in Rise they have sound kinda similar to Malzeno when it roars. To me it sounds like a weird growling undertone to both the apex monsters and malzeno.

This roar and Apex roars have the same ear piercing shriek. In lore, vampires can create minions at will, be it ghouls, thralls, or lesser vampires. I'm thinking they had Sunbreak planned WAY ahead of time and introduced the Apexes rlly late to Rise, which is why we don't have armor for them. What I am tryna say is, the Apexes are Malzeno's thralls.

In fact, there is more lore to the Apexes that I haven't seen up until just now. I have not seen, "Its body is covered in scars and wounds as if it had been caught in a storm, and it's seemingly always dominated by wrath and terror." Ever.

I know that they're going to be vampire-like but I'm hoping for some Atelier-like clothes but edgy (for the female set at least) I don't know why, but I love gothic lolitas' clothes or edgy frilly clothes in general.

Honestly, so long as Malzeno plays a better role in the lore than what Magnamalo had, it'll be up there as one of my favourite monsters in rise.

Malzeno now is my favorite female dragon of all time. In my private novel I named her “Nimune Cordia Surinius”. Sorry Velkhana, Narwa and Ibushi.
