If you compare the lyrics of MORE to the lyrics in ARSON, you will see a more complete picture of how J-Hope was feeling when those songs were written. He looks back at his life and all he has accomplished at that point in time, and wonders what's next. He's saying "I've achieved MORE THAN everything I want to accomplish, but I am over it. I don't feel those things are so fresh and special anymore. I worked my ass off to reach those goals, but they're in the past. I'm looking for the next thing that's going to inspire me and challenge me. Maybe I want to pivot to something else completely outside the box.......outside my comfort zone.......outside my sphere of experience? Maybe something that seems impossible, but I might still want it enough to go for it anyway? Where do I want to go? What do I want to learn and do? Who do I want to be? " Keep in mind, too, that he recorded those songs knowing he would be going into the military within the next several months after they were released. I suspect he was anticipating that his military service would be a much-needed pause that might give him some time to consider his future. Those songs may also have been a heads up to his fans that he might not come out of the military as the same person he was when he went in. He may be giving fair warning to ARMY that things are gonna change. At his core, J-Hope will be the same creative and driven person, but the public man those who are not in his inner circle know him as, might be gone. I am sure he will still be grateful for the fans' support, no matter what.
Jhope (and BTS) are arsonists who through their hard work and determination, lit fire to everything in their career path - burning up charts, burned the haters, blazed a path for their success, etc. The question he is asking here is whether he should stop now or burn even brighter.
The entire JITB album is a full experience. It tells a story from start to finish. I recommend listening to it in full. It's not too long. Just over 20mins if I recall correctly. I lose track of time when I listen to it. It's just that amazing.
Arson is the best song for live stages and the audience singing back to him. You should react to j-hope live performances at lollapalooza. He is fire. j-hope is the best of the best in making music and his lyrics are really good. Jack in the box is a masterpiece as a whole. The overall story and concept. You can watch his RUclips video where he explains the album concept. It has to be listened to as a whole. In arson he is talking about his passion. His burning passion in music sets everything on fire to the point he destroys everything around him, so he questioned if he should continue burning. But ultimately, his answer is that he will continue to burn in his passion. To react from j-hope I recommend 1. j-hope at lollapalooza 2. Jack in the box album reaction 3. Hope World album
Now I really really want y’all to react to his full lollapalooza live performance. He is definitely beast on stage . His charisma and aura in unmatched and I am not even exaggerating like I have watched the full set like 100times but I still get goosebumps . I hope y’all really check the live 💜
I love that I had absolutely no idea why so many people were talking about him swearing before I got to really learn about them and now coming back to this after getting to know them more I get chills all over again. I had to listen to the hope edition Jack in the Box again after this, then I watched the hobi lollapalooza earlier today. I'd love to hear your reaction to the intro along with Pandoras Box....but the whole album is so fire. Don't get me started on Hope World. loved this so much, thank you handsome sausages. ♡
Equal Sign It's another one of my fav songs on the album apart from Arson, I love old school hip hop, I think Hobi wanted to make an album like that a long time ago,so that people would know that he is much more than a good dancer and a cheerful person, that he has a very different artistic side than he had already shown and that he has fears and worries,I personally loved the album, thanks for the video Stay healthy and happy,Could you tell me the name of the song that you put at the end of your videos please, thanks in advance 💜
I think you would enjoy checking out is J-Hope's Lollapalooza Live stage. I also recommend Jimin's "Set Me Free Pt2" and "Like Crazy" Songs/MVs from his FACE album and RM's "Wild Flower" from Indigo. Enjoy.
As always I enjoyed your discussions afterwards. You guys clearly know music. Which shows. It is also amazing that you understand and speak perfect Korean. Both are in great shortage in K-tube. I won’t say “kpop” because this is NOT. Any other songs? THE WHOLE ALBUM is worth checking out, whether you publicly do so or privately. As long as you check the whole album out ❤ GAMSAHABDINA!
Please react to the whole album JACK IN THE BOX. Its a must listen album of jhope if you wanna get to more about jhope's artistry and his thoughts. Please react to his whole album. You will love each and every songs of this album. Each songs of this album has different message and feel and flow and beats. So you wont regreat reacting to his album
I like both Arson and More for different reasons, but I love some of the bsides even more, so I'm excited for you guys to discover the bts member's solo discography!
From BTS related, jhope jack in the box is my first album that I like all the song in it, and then RM album Indigo came out I also love all song from that album.
I think you should listen to STOP from Jack in the box, there are many more things he mentions in this song. Also jitb is such a great album and he mentions some social issues too! It's such a great listen!
Arson's lyrics basically talk about the hard work it took to get where J-Hope and BTS are today, and how rewarding it is but also how much it cost. To shine bright also means to burn yourself up - it's both great and painful. So the question is, now that there's a chance to stop, does Hobi want to stop or keep going? He says that only he can answer that.
Every solo project the members of BTS have done are all really really good so far if not better then what they bring out all together ( no, it's all great!) but idk, to see how they all have different genres is amazing. I hope you'll check out V's project, he is the last one coming out with his project. 2 songs are out so far and they are both, uuuuuf incredible. You guys are really going to like it!
May I ask when will you react to BTS Jimin's, RM's, and Jin's solo songs? Jimin's and RM's albums are soooo good! All of the songs in their album are real quality songs and they wrote all the songs too! Jimin's album is called Face and RM's album is called Indigo! PLEASE REACT TO THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM
I don't think Hobi had any major problems. I'm not sure what people would have meant about that. If anyone had serious problems, it was Suga. Obviously they all struggled in the beginning. But, J-Hope has always been very smart, very professional, and very creative. No one can be happy 24/7. But, this song is more boastful than about inner struggles. He says they set the fire, achieved everything you could imagine, what now? It's a contemplation about the future. In More he says his work makes him alive so he wants more. I think it's safe to say he'll always be working and creating.
In the United States it is the 22nd of August 2023. I don't really know if Korea is a day behind or day ahead of the United States? are you actually in the United States? you're speaking very good English but you're supposedly PayPal producers? a lot of K pop songwriters' composers and producers are not in Korea. The more ridiculous thing is that both Moore and arson came out a year ago. And you're only reacting to them now! As of now every member of BTS has released a solo project not connected with the group directly V's album comes out in September next month, but he's already released two music videos for it love me again and rainy day! At this rate before you even get to Jimmy John's solo album who was the third member to release an album and the fourth member to release a solo project. Anyway, by the time you get to Jim's album BTS will be on tour in 2025 as a group of women having all been discharged from the military because it'll be over two years from now. Is it going to take you until December 2024 to react to RM's album that was released in December 2022? Golf balls Google AKA August D collaboration with Halsey the song is called Lilith and it is the anthem for the Diablo 4 video game move on you first in the middle of BTS's 10th anniversary festa.
What's YOUR choice? Arson OR More?!
Arson
Both
MORE 100% even tho Arson is very good too
Arson
Arson
The live version from lollapalooza last year had even more impact. He was so impressive on stage, you should definitely watch it.
If you compare the lyrics of MORE to the lyrics in ARSON, you will see a more complete picture of how J-Hope was feeling when those songs were written.
