    If you don’t like raw bell peppers, you May blanch them with potato.

    i had something similar to this at a korean restaurant but it wasn't spicy which would have made it better. i would very much like to have your chili oil recipe. i used to go to a chinese restaurant that had chili soy sauce on the tables, was so very good!

    Thank you so much for sharing this delicious-looking salad! Can you tell me if there has been any studies done on nutrients, nutrition left after a potato is rinsed, boiled, then re-rinsed before consuming? Thank you

      I think rinsing and boiling only gets rid off some starch.

    When you blanche the potatoes - do you start with boiling water or do you bring the potatoes to a boil in the 2 minutes. Also where can I get chili oil or how do I make it.

    You need to use a cutting board with no feet; that knife blade resonates very sharply when you slice down to the board.

    Raw bell peppers are way too strong for me. I think I would roast them a little bit before mixing in

    Does anyone know whether rice vinegar is also Shaoxing cooking wine? That's what her link has, but a Google search says they are not the same thing.
    I have the following at home, and am wondering what's the best substitute: Shaoxing wine, cooking wine fukuizumi, sushi vinegar, mirin, apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, Chinkiang vinegar. Many, many thanks!

      Rice vinegar is not Shaoxing cooking wine. Cooking wine normally has alcohol. For this dish, no need for cooking wine but vinegar. My links below are general not a recipe specific 😊
