Hi Reuben. Great video; thanks for taking us along. Also, congratulations on your success. I appreciate that you took the time to share your story on your main landing page. I'm very happy for you and I hope you continue to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Safe travel and continued success. Regards from New York City.
Love your video. How did you mount the tripod in the back seat? Did you just wedge the leg of the tripod between the back seats or did you strap it in somehow?
As for your approach to landing you should be right at 80 to 85 kts right on final and once you’ve crossed the Threshold you should be at 79 kts and roll it on smoothly. Remember with full flaps on final at 80-85Kts and cross threshold at 79Kts . Let me know how you did on your next flight
sad you can't know the joy of just flying an airplane without all that worthess crap in front of you. do you ever have time to just look outside and experience the pure joy of flight. you should go with me sometime in my L8A with no electrical system and see what flying is REALLY about! you would likely freak out and say it is an emergency when you saw me hand prop the plane to start it!
It’s so great how Cirrus thinks about safety first. Great vid!
Beautiful airplane
Awesome video Reuben! "high as in altitude, not drugs" LOL! -Cullen

Beautiful plane.

Just like driving a skidsteer, kinda. Nice job, Maverick!

The tripod I had two legs long down on the floor one leg short on the back seat it was not tied down.
Hold that Approach to landing speed right at the beginning of your flares and you will be right on the numbers 😊
Can you explain?

The Garmin EFIS auto-sets the altimeter baro setting between flights based on known airport altitude.
