Is anyone else out there amazed at how wimpy the spoked drivers look on these massive tractors? I know they work but compared to the rest of the machine they look like they would just bend out of shape. Great video as always.
Hey Warren, the fact that you work on such a variety of equipment keeps me coming back! I love seeing all the different equipment and really appreciate the knowledge from the old stuff up through the new high tech stuff. Great videos!😊
My subscription always stays Warren… I never have a problem been subscribed to you for years mostly enjoy when you work on the cats and the heavy equipment
My subscription is solid. I know this is no easy job Warren but you make it look easy. I guess that's experience showing through. Amazing that someone exploited this customer by putting worn used sprockets on this machine. Thank you very much.
Those fumigation crawlers seem to be a amazing misch-mash of everyone and their dog brother fabricating, abusive operation and half-hearted maintenance. Issac @ IC Weld often times uses a needle scaler to remove slag on large welding runs, not only to speed removal but on the theory that the peening helps stress relieve. Issac is a wizard with a cutting torch, uses air arc or plasma to move metal better than most people, seems very honest and forthright and definitely knows His arse from a hole in the ground. There is another creator i watch that is honest and forthright that knows His arse from a hole in the ground. Warren Rodgers, Best Wishes to Him and His Family.
Man I remember now why I retired ! my back hurts just watching you crawl in and out up and down over and through that crawler. I feel for you man Western truck and tractor repair Rocks.
Hi Warren, said it before , say it again.... ain't no substitute for skill and knowledge. You have both in abundance. Keep doing what you're doing. Thanks for taking the time to post these videos. We're just armchair surfers, but you are there doing it. People dont realise how tough this kind of work is. I've been there, done it , still got the scars.... never mind the t shirt🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks MARK uk
There are a lot of good welders out there but not a lot of good welders that can also rebuild engines, gearboxes and re-loom a modern electronic controlled vehicle. Top work Warren.
For MY ENTIRE LIFE… I called it Air Arc. Just happened to be on the market for a new Air Arc setup because my old one(from my dad) was over 30 years old and could do with an upgrade. I learned today that it’s actually Arc Air. I think this is one of those tricks like like bearenstien bears being remembered differently than people see it today. It’s a trick! Lol. We always called it Air Arc. I was surprised to learn it’s actually Arc Air. 😂
We appreciate your camera work especially in those hard-to-reach places around equipment where lighting is far from perfect. In fact, we are ready to award you with the "Cecil B. DeMille Award" for excellent camera work on these videos!! Subscribed (long time, no problems)
Glade to see your still interested in keeping the old machines in running order. Awesome job you do enjoy watching your channel keep up the amazing work
Thanks for the CAT repair update, your years of experience make the process look some what easy, but it is tough work, and it is a pleasure to watch your experience work thru issues. Enjoyed watching, appreciate your time and effort.
Just a one man band getting shit done, if there's better on RUclips I haven't seen them. Your skills never cease to amaze, and you do this all by yourself. I'm not a heavy equipment mechanic but if I was, I would have given anything to learn from a guy like you as an apprentice.👍
Warren you AMAZING. Work . Not many people left that work as hard as you and are ad knowledgeable as yourself. Your a inspiration too me. Thank you for taking the time to record and share your lifes work. Its appriciated. Kindest Regards Andy. Perth Australia
Fix stuff ?? Troubleshoot stuff?? Not nowadays got to just get something new Mostly just parts changers out there now Actual mechanics are hard to find Keep up the awesome videos Warren 👍👍👍
Warren, Jpaydirt gave you the best compliment on his last video (I did it all by myself). It is at about the 20 minute mark. "Warren is the Hardest working and most knowledgeable". Even if I was a mechanic, I agree. No way I could keep up with you. You are really amazing in what you can fix and how fast you do it....
What an absolute awesome video thanks Warren for your time and consideration , what an education regards from England 🇬🇧🇺🇲 stay safe out there bud🔧🛠️🚜🚛
Great video Warren really enjoy watching you work on this little dozer replacing the drive sprocket and all the parts that come off and go back on to complete this job. Thanks for sharing stay safe Warren.
Nice work on the cat Warren. You’re amazing working by yourself! I don’t know what’s up with the unsubscribe thing. I’ve never been involuntarily unsubscribed from any channel. Thank much for the video my friend.
I went yo plasma gouging over air arc gouging due to the ease and simplicity since all that is needed is the proper gouging consumables for your plasma cutter.
You know Warren This stuff never gets old ..My subscribe button has always been on (with the bell ) Keep up the videos and good work ethic ..Its hard to find a qualified person such as yourself . Well done
G'day Warren,, Another cool vid, Seemed to be a quick job ,even for you , looking foward to the clutch work. I've said it before , these owners /opperators are very lucky to have you doing their repairs .Love watching a skilled tradesman , especially one as multi skilled as you are .Great vid Warren . Respect....!
i expect cat screwed up the sprocket delivery and the previous fitter had to improvise not very well i have a d4c i am loving this content thanks warren angus
Hey Warren, love watching your videos and glad to see your shoes match again foot must be feeling a lot better. Glad you’re healed up maybe not totally but on your way keep up the great videos love watching you
Classic that the content and quality of your production and expertise of your craft doesnt seem to deterr youtube from makin revenue by pumping commercial after commercial off your great content and then unsubscribing your viewers must be the AI squeakn out more profit for them, appreciate ya.
Once again I saw you posted a new video but I didn’t receive any alert. Low and behold, I was unsubscribed from your channel AGAIN! I definitely support your channel and content but I guess one way or another the Tube Bot doesn’t agree with me. Make sure others aren’t experiencing the same problem. Keep up the great work buddy and keep em rolling!
Really Appreciate the Videos, Warren. I have welded since I was a kid and I have not used Arc Gouging yet, I’m going to see what I need to get started. I’m not a welder by trade, but I can hold my own on everything except pipe, unless I can spin it. I like your welder, how it doesn’t have to run wide open all the time. That looks like a fun but tough job. Thanks Again, Have a Good Weekend.
Grown about 100k subs since I first came across this channel. Been great to see it grow! You should upload your original channel intro in front of your old ford service truck!
Tired and worn out 60 yr old mobile plant fitter here from the UK. I`ve always said that only a certain type of mechanic can do mobile work, regardless of whether he`s any good or not. Majority of mechanics like their home comforts of warm workshops and able to pick parts off the shelf in the stores... But you Sir are one of the few who can handle the hassle of working on site. Top Guy
Warren I just started watching your videos past couple weeks. Subscribed,, love your views on life right wing stuff love your dogs, your a good mechanic,,I'll keep watching from Canada keep your videos coming.
Few videos ago you said you were done with electric impacts and man I can relate. They say the electric has more power but I feel air is more reliable and still hits harder. That being said my m12 3/8 isn’t still a go to for small stuff.
Ive welded for years(I’m not a welder). Awhile back I started measuring what I was welding(thickness/gauge) with a micrometer. Then I’d lift the hood on my welder and reference the chart 📈 the factory provides. It’s AMAZING how much easier and clean welding can be when you have the proper heat and feed speed. Fifteen years I’ve been eye balling this crap and it shows👍🤪 Great video
Staying subscribed. Well, it sure is hard getting on and off those CAT dozers, I guess it better than clambering all over a D8 ! Have a good week end hope you get time to sink a few beers and have some time with family and pets.
They possibly couldn't source a new one especially during the Covid 19 debacle! At one time you could buy a rim with holes drilled into it to change a solid sprocket over to a segmented one, but I don't know if you could find one these days, Keep up the good work!
Nice job Warren. Is the weld on sprocket faster then just replacing the entire sprocket? Coolest thing I've ever seen man. Looking forward to seeing more
Warren I'm really wondering about the subscription thing because I have premium RUclips and I've never had a problem with the things being unsubscribed but if you are not a member or paying to get premium they may be having difficulties sustaining a subscription!! Super great Job Again Warren!!! All the best from Surrey BC Canada
Hey Warren, have you heard of the start up called Edison Motors? They're trying to build hybrid trucks. By retrofitting old trucks with gensets and electric axles. If you had the time, you would be great as an installer of their kits. They're on youtube.
I've worked hard all my life, but apparently not hard enough because watching you just wears me out 😊.
Thanks for sharing Warren.
He wears me out too. I'm always wishin I could be there to give him a hand.
Man thats the best comment Ive heard in a while.

New chain track on an old sprocket !!!! That's like washing your feet and putting your dirty socks back on !!!! Crazy !!!!
My subscription always stays Warren… I never have a problem been subscribed to you for years mostly enjoy when you work on the cats and the heavy equipment
I really enjoy when Warren goes off with one of his epic rants!
My subscription is solid. I know this is no easy job Warren but you make it look easy. I guess that's experience showing through. Amazing that someone exploited this customer by putting worn used sprockets on this machine.

Top work Warren.
I worked as a car and light truck mechanic and could not see myself working on the stuff you work on but enjoy watching it.
Nice video Warren! I sure don’t miss working on heavy equipment.

I guess we all accumulate a lifetime of knowledge if we make an effort but tis fella blows me away with his experience and expertise
Many thanks for running the camera while you're working! Probably slows you down a bit, but this amounts to a classroom video.
good to see you had dry conditions for that repair. nice shinny new spokes and gears
Just a one man band getting shit done, if there's better on RUclips I haven't seen them. Your skills never cease to amaze, and you do this all by yourself. I'm not a heavy equipment mechanic but if I was, I would have given anything to learn from a guy like you as an apprentice.👍
Great job Warren thanks for showing us what it entails to replace sprocket

Another great video warren! Thanks for videoing 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You are spot on about the air ark the more you use it the better you get at it I like using one it saves time
I went yo plasma gouging over air arc gouging due to the ease and simplicity since all that is needed is the proper gouging consumables for your plasma cutter.

I had a 951c that had weld on sprockets like that. It's interesting to see how it's done even though I hated that system
Good Job Warren, Pet the Pups
I am still subscribed shipmate....Good job today as usual...
This is a good series I'm enjoying it immensely. Hi Warren it's me a comment with every viewing just for vindictive RUclips monitors lol

I wonder if that sprocket was replaced during Covid when parts were hard to source.
I did 3 of them at the same time and parts were readily available
Another great video Warren but you sure do work hard 😓
