Congratulations on landing your first RN position in a hospital! 🎉 This is where you're supposed to be for the time being. Everything happens for a reason.🙏
Congratulations on landing your first RN job in acute care! 🥳 that’s amazing and although it wasn’t in the NICU, there’s no bad experiences while working. You’re just going to grow from each day! I’m currently in the same position you were in. I just graduated in May and I keep getting rejection letters in adult med-surg/tele/ICU/ER from both big and small hospitals here in Northern California. I’m trying not to lose motivation as well, and I’m telling myself those jobs that have denied me just wasn’t meant to be. Good luck with your residency program!
Hi Carolina. I’m in the same phase as you were in this video. I were rejected by a major hospital which is my top choice after the interview. I felt unmotivated at first but I’m still applying. Got an offer right after the interview at another hospital but I rejected the offer cause I think there might be a better place for me. I’m still waiting to hear from other hospitals that I’ve applied to. Anyway, I just wanna say that I’ve been to some emotions and thoughts that you had in this video. Thanks for sharing them with us. I wish you the best in the new grad program. You’ll do great! :)
Not the whole things. Of Course it depends everyone finds what is difficult different. Some terms you have to change study methods and stuff but always stay focused and prepared by studying, reading, speaking to professors early.
Hi Carolina. I had a question about West Coast University. I am currently applying there. I am also trying other universities but I don’t know if I will be able to get in another university because I didn’t score in the 80s for the TEAS exam. However, I am still gonna try to before getting into West Coast. Is there a way I can ask you a question? I know I am a total stranger but I felt comfortable asking you. If you don’t mind

would you say the whole nursing courses were difficult? Sometimes I feel like I won't be capable of finishing nursing school.
