However, my compulsion is I will not be able to stay in US for longer. Hence, I keep travelling. I was an intra company transfer on L1A in May 2022. I remained in US for around 4 months in entire last 15 months of continuous employment. My question is once I get my i140 , do I need to stay back in US? Or while applying i485 or Adjustment of Status, is it compulsory to stayback in US? If I don't live in US and keep working remotely from outside the country - can it increase my chances of rejection?
@@33id33 not sure who is but I suggest don’t rush coming to US. Join a good company, become a manager and then come here on internal transfer. Manager doesn’t mean people manager, can be an individual contributor but should have performed managerial tasks. EB1 is relatively faster but even that queue is getting backed up.
